Best place to eat on campus. They also have the best coffee on campus in my opinion. Probably most expensive place on campus too

Food is delivered fast, within about 5-10 minutes after ordering at the counter. Staff here is friendly, patient and helpful when someone who can't decide between all of the options is in front of them. :) I ordered "the rebel" French dip and loved every bite of it. I especially loved the little side salad that came with it that I wasn't expecting. The French dip itself was savory, tender, flavorful and the horseradish added the perfect "kick" to the wrap. I'd definitely order it again but there were also so many other things that I'd try on the menu! I'll stop back every time I'm in Arizona because it's worth the trip to try everything that looks so yummy!

Naturals tones with pops of green make this a delightful place to meet up with your friends. I had the tuna poke bowl. The flavors were super bright and hit all the classic notes of poke. I thoroughly enjoyed the passion fruit black tea, unsweetened of course. I'm not one for overly flavored drinks but they crushed it. I went back for seconds. I'm actually sad I found this on the last day in town, not my first.

That location is close to a place I go to frequently, so this is another option for me if I should need some food and don't want to do Salad & Go, but want something healthy. I got an Asian Grilled Burrito with Wild Salmon. Was driving so a bowl I could not do. I could barely eat the burrito driving because it's sort of flat and had rice. It was very yummy. Something I learned was Angie's does not have straws and if you order a Refresher, they give you a packet of something to put in the cup. You have to figure out how to make the Refresher, which I saw at the soda fountain dispenser there was sparkling water, so I did that and some Vanilla Torino's. I went about 11 am, and the Torino's were nearly gone and the little table that it was on was fairly unclean. The area to order, where you pickup the order, the soda area, and the metal table by the soda area were all really close and crowded. Since this was my first time there, I didn't even understand that you had to order at some kiosk. They had one by the pickup area and 2 more on the east wall. Felt overwhelming for me. I did not see what the dining area looked like. My burrito was $11-12 and the Refresher was $2. My daughter said their prices were much better than Salad and Go and other places, but I found my meal similar. Oh, I guess the getting wild salmon was the costly thing. Had I gotten chicken, it would've been much less. My daughter said she's never had their burritos, only their salads. A lady that had ordered many times there did help me with some things I didn't understand and she said she loves their food. Turns out the owner of Angie's named the places after his mom who passed away about 5 yrs ago. He also started Salad and Go and this is upscale from Salad and Go. I'm glad this is an option. But maybe they can keep prices good is to cut on the things that don't really matter as much and focus on the food. I'm good with that. The next time I go to an Angie's, I will be better prepared. There isn't one too close to me like there are lots of Salad and Go's, so I hope they open some in Gilbert, Mesa, and Scottsdale. Oh, parking is not that great at this location. You basically need to be heading east on Thomas before 1st Ave as there are a few parking spots on the diagonal. Don't park in the First Watch parking lot. If you're coming west on Thomas, make a u-turn after you pass 1st Ave.

They had a very unique menu at Toasted Owl, with many items cleverly named after the bodacious birds. My wife got the Three Tacos plate, my daughter got a gluten free blueberry pancake and soy chorizo, her husband got the Owl 66 and I got the 'Owlapeno Scramble'. The entire restaurant was decked out in owl decor, from the menus, clocks, glasses, wall decorations, cookie jars and trinkets, just to name a few. Everything in there was also available for purchase. Everything at the table was scrumptious in the most satisfying way. My scramble was so satisfying, with the cheese and pickled jalapeños and the three poppers on top. The breakfast potatoes were so savory, seasoned just right and the huge flour tortilla and salsa were all perfectly complimenting. We each ordered drinks that came in owl mason jars, which we bought for $2 each. What a hidden gem for breakfast, brunch or lunch.

All I can say is after today's visit I will not be coming back. I don't know if somebody actually spit in my salad dressing, if the salad dressing is bad, or if they just gave me the wrong salad dressing (it's supposed to be a ranch and I've never had these black seeds in the dressing before). All I know is I'm extremely grossed out because that looks like spit in my salad dressing and now I can't eat. So I totally wasted my time and just under $13. Ironically I've never had this problem... all the times I've ever gone before I felt pressured to tip. This time I decided not to... And then this happens. Coincidence? It absolutely could be. But the damage has been done; because, now every time I think of this salad, I'm going to think of spit in my salad dressing. Update: To add insult to injury, as stated, I opted not to tip this time. I specifically selected $0. My total was $12 and some change (thus why in my original review I said I paid just under $13). I hit continue to check out and when I got home just now I noticed that my card was charged for $14.53... it's funny because I thought it was weird that the girl did not repeat my order or my total before she took my card at the window... so not only did they give me spoiled dressing, the wrong dressing, or spit in my dressing; but they absolutely overcharged me for my order... How are they going to charge your card differently than what the screen tells you you're going to pay when you're going through the drive-thru?! Everything about this visit was scammy. How convenient that they did not give me a receipt in my bag after going through the drive-thru! Thieves!
