So stopped into leaf today with 2 of my buddies. We had some iced coffee's sat and chatted for a while. Place was clean and the menu looked interesting. We discussed coming back for lunch later in the day until we were leaving and one of my friends accidentally dropped his glass coffee cup (mason Jar) and the person behind the counter requested that he pay for the glass. We not only is not pay for the glass but we also did not and will not return for lunch. The owner should reconsider this ridiculous policy. read more

Fresh looking (see photo) and tasting salad. Reasonably priced. Nicely setup indoor space tho I opted for the really nice quiet patio out back. They brought the food out to me. I've only ever had the avocado chicken with the cilantro lime dressing. It is amazinggggly good. I've been craving it throughout my whole pregnancy. I get it almost everyday for lunch. I went here for a work day lunch, and I'd definitely make it a regular spot when I go to the area. Leaf has several seating options and so many great healthy options. Overall the vibe was great, great music, decent pricing, cute decor. I went for a salad and the prices were comparable to that of Sweet Green and Chopt, and were also good sized. I got their roasted sesame tofu salad which was decent and actually was able to save it for a second meal because of for big the portion was. The only downside was that the soup (what I really wanted) was $10 for roughly 16 ounces which I thought was on the pricey side. Otherwise, great spot and I'd come back. read more

I ordered delivery through seamless. I had the Not Caesar Salad. It came with kale & romaine, roasted sweet potatoes & broccoli, tomatoes, and parm. I added on grilled chicken and crutons. The greens were fresh and crisp, and the sweet potatoes tender and well seasoned. The broccoli was flavorful and roasted well, and had a light buildable kick to it as well! It is also very dark in this establishment, which is concerning and also unwelcoming. I disagree with some of of opinions. I think the 2 create your own bowls I got were healthy, could of been more flavor on the cauliflower. But plenty of chicken. Rice and quinoa cooked well. I think the prices were fairly priced. I did not have an in the restaurant experience but do take out. The fees were high, just under 7.00. Delivery was fast Tho. The 2 girls who worked here were not only not attentive they had no idea what was even being served. We waited for 15 minutes with literally no one else in the place. There was NO ONE THERE and one of them was on the phone. I asked what wines they had available for happy hour and one of the girls just pointed to 10 bottles that were just in a group on the counter, like not even facing me she just expected me to sift through these bottles? I had to reiterate 4 times to one of them that I wanted a Make Your Own Salad. By the 4th time I just took a menu, a pen and circled exactly what I wanted and handed it to the girl. Their cold brew was watery and their salads are small. The place sucks. read more

I've eaten here several times and the food is fine, it's the service that I'm here to make sure people are aware of. I walked in about 10 minutes ago to get a salad and the person working sees me walk in and rolls their eyes and sighs i ask "oh are you still open?" The only problem I had was with the seamless delivery guy flaking out and leaving me starving (ugh), but the food is the best healthy option in the area. This is the only place I order from anymore. My bowl was fresh and tasty even after 2 hours. The chicken was well seasoned and the portion was good. It came out to around $14, which I find very reasonable given that the ingredients are all organic. The worker was patient and nice. The owner's of this establishment did an excellent job of beautifying the interior however the exterior of an eatery is irrelevant when the food is poisoned with bacteria. Yesterday evening my husband and I both consumed chicken bowls and didn't have anything else to eat that evening. By 10 pm we both were experiencing major symptoms of food poisoning that lasted ALL NIGHT into this morning. How hard is it to wash your hands before preparing meals for the public? How little an establishment must care for the safety of their patrons if they can' guarantee that all food is kept fresh and free of bacteria? Not only did I waste my money but my health was compromised. I believe that the city needs to monitor all food establishments but especially new ones more carefully. read more

I always let them know I am allergic to onions and for the third time, they put them in the bowl I ordered, they also didn't add in any of the extras that I paid for, chicken or cauliflower, which is an extra $4 BTW. I love the salads here my favorites is the Latin salad which i think the name change to Avocado salad. I just order from here yesterday and it taste just as good when i ordered here from the first time in 2019. I been to other salad places in the city but it just don't taste the same like this place. I'm genuinely shocked at the negative reviews I've read below. I absolutely love all of the fresh ingredients and flavors. The owner really puts thought and passion into creating healthy and delicious flavor combinations for her bowls. I've had the Fall Chicken and Chicken & Veggies bowl, both were delicious- especially with the dressings. My girlfriend raved about the cookies, saying they taste like a homemade version of Insomnia (her favorite cookie, quite the complement if you've tried them). The owner is also super friendly and kind, she has taken the time to engage with us both times we've been in. So another 5 stars. Went over to dine in. The place is clean and looks great with an outdoor soace (love BK backyard spaces). We ordered the Chicken and Veggie bowl and the Chimuchuri Steak Bowl. I was so impressed. I couldnt put my fork down. I have to say, I am particularly glad that I decided to try this place.
