Amazing vegan options!! Had decently high expectations for this place based on the reviews but it exceeded all expectations! We got the BLTA wrap (gluten free) and the Vegan Italian panini and both were incredible. The BLT wrap had so much filling that it was bursting out of the wrap!! The flavors were amazing and they did the coconut bacon super well. Fill d with super fresh veggies, tempeh and coconut. Their vegan caesar is to die for and the wrap was perfectly dressed. Side salad with balsamic was good too! The Italian Panini was amazing too. The tofu ricotta was super impressive. I'm vegetarian not vegan, and I wouldn't have been able to tell it wasn't real ricotta is no one told me! The food was great and at a reasonable price which made it even better. I adore this place (that I genuinely meant to try out for YEARS). Salads are huge for the cost, and full of awesome veggies/proteins/flavors. Their vegan grilled cheese is BOMB, and there is always a rotating special that will blow your mind. Vegan tempeh is delicious, and perfect in their Asian pork salad as a substitute. I love Leaf and Ladle. They have good soup Everytime which is hard when you have seasonal soup! I wish they would use less dressing on the salad but that's just me. One of the worst customer experiences ever! I couldn't believe how rude the server was. I had opened the door and was looking in to see if they were open and to see the menu. I had my helmet in one hand, my mask on my finger, and my phone in my hand. I was still in the doorway and she didn't even say hello, but told me to put my mask on. I said ok and was attempting to put my phone in my pocket when she rudely shouted to put my mask on a second time. I said I was putting my phone away and pointed to the mask to indicate I was about to do this (even though I wasn't in the store yet) Before I could finish, she again rudely shouted to put a mask on. Unreasonable and completely unacceptable. (There was NO ONE in the establishment) I hope an owner can teach their staff some manners! read more

Great food and good customer service in a quirky little hole in the wall. Jonesing for a panini I decided to give this place a try and let me tell you... AMAZING. Turkey panini with avocado added. Pesto mayo and the Focaccia was toasted just enough to provide some resistance to the tooth yet soft and warm once you got through the toasted shell. Multiple options including GF and Vegan but with amazing non GF and non Vegan options as well. Only downside was the cheap plastic table covers that were sticky. Will be back. read more

So happy we stumbled upon this place. This is a wonderful lunch spot with almost as many vegan options as meat options. We ordered two of the vegan panini sandwiches and they were both fantastic. Food is super good. All of it. Not a subpar or "not-worth-it" thing on the menu. Just expect apathetic service. Never had a cheery experience, per se. I don't think everyone necessarily cares about that so I don't think it kills this review but it definitely goes into my decision of whether or not to eat here for lunch some days. read more

Finally made it to L&L today and I can say that I certainly wasn't disappointed! I mainly went for the vegan options they offer because it's nice to have choices! So my boyfriend and I couldn't decide what to get so we got The vegan panini, the Italian vegan panini, and the vegan BLTA wrap. The workers were so nice and actually split everything for us both to on our own plates. The food is fresh and delicious. The actual eating area is cute and there's plenty of room. We had lunch here yesterday and were very happy with the food and the friendly staff. I had a generous taste of the yummy Hearty Veggie Soup and then ordered a bowl of it. Both my husband and I ordered the vegetarian Caesar Salad with tempeh and it was terrific. They were not stingy with the tempeh!! As strict vegetarians, we are virtually never able to eat Caesar Salad outside our home because of the use of anchovy paste in the dressing. There is no where to sit down aside from two small tables on the street. They have a barn a store that opens at four but you can't take your food to eat there. They were kind enough to make it again and gave me a complementary cookie. Sadly I don't eat gluten or sugar. So we didn't get to eat it. But anyway, the chicken and wrap we got has no life to it. The Caesar dressing wasn't that flavorful and the chicken breast didn't even have any flavor. I had to force myself to eat since I paid $14 for it. My husband and I order Leaf and Ladle at least once a month for takeout or delivery. We love their huge variety of options and everything is always so fresh and veggie forward! My husband's favorite is the Chicken Ceasar Wrap and I love the Asian Chicken Wrap, although the BBQ Chicken Quesadilla is a close contender. They also sell a variety of drinks. When I've gone in to pick up, the ladies have been very friendly and helpful and always have their masks on. I'm shocked no other review has mentioned Leaf & Ladle's extremely poor ventilation! You enter a cloud of smoke as soon as you walk in the door. I work nearby and stop in maybe once a month-knowing that I will have to accept that my clothes and hair will smell like smoky, greasy restaurant for the rest of the day. The food is fine. Just looking for a normal salad in the middle of a busy workday. If I didn't work nearby I wouldn't eat here.
