    Tomato basil soup with wrap

Well balanced flavors in their wraps. We ordered individual soups and shared a wrap as they are huge! Friendly service and small establishment, so the tables fill up quickly. For good reason as their food is delicious!

Really stellar sandwiches, and as a dairy-free eater it's always fantastic to find vegan options on the menu! The shop is really cute, the staff was friendly, food was great. I especially enjoyed how crispy the panini was and the vinaigrette on the greens. I should have played around with some of the hot sauces available, I think it would have brightened up the sandwich a bit. (Or, maybe my mouth was expecting cranberry sauce or something acidic, that would have been tasty!)

Found this place on the way to Cascades. The people were very friendly and all customers looked happy and were smiling probably because it's so close to Canada lol The wrap was delicious full of fresh vegetables. I recommend them for healthy meals :)

Asian Salad Chicken Wrap with chips

My cousin took me here for lunch. I got the Asian Salad Chicken Wrap. Ordering was simple and the cashier was very friendly. The entrance of this sandwich shop was very bright, but a little darker and not as remarkable in the back. We got a seat in the back of the restaurant. My wrap was really big, I didn't expect it to be so big. I actually only ended up eating half of it for lunch and the other half for dinner. It was good with lots of greens and some chicken in it. There were some big chunks of jicama that I think could of been chopped a little smaller, but other than that I really enjoyed my wrap. It also came with some crunchy potato chips that balanced out the meal. We had a nice lunch here.

Amazing and friendly service, huge portions, home cooking that's extremely healthy, and if you are lucky enough to get their corned beef and cabbage around St Patrick's day, you will truly be joyful! Their seating area is cute and comfortable. I love this place.

Perhaps the best bowl of gazpacho I've had outside of Spain! Staff was quick and responsive. The Panini was delicious.

Tasty soups & sandwiches - perfect for a chilly January afternoon! The owner's creative, for-sale pottery was a welcome bonus.

We saw some people exiting Goat Mountain and were able to snag their empty seats at the bar. Lucky us! And not only for the seats. We've never been here before, and we had a great time. We ordered the Goat Mountain Salad--huge! A bargain! Varied! Delicious! And I, who has never met a beet that I didn't dislike, was delighted that ingredients were grouped individually so I could avoid those. Wonderful salad! And--for a mere buck--you can order a dressing on the side for anything you want. The buttermilk was delicious. I ordered a slice of the Apple & Bacon pie; my guy, Potato & Bacon. Upon their arrival, our notions of pizza were shattered. These were big slices of cake! (Website says Roman-style--we've been to Rome, but these exquisite things were very different.) Totally yummy. As was the warm chocolate chip cookie--divine. (Funny story: I didn't have my readers on. I thought the price was $25. "That's quite a cookie!" I thought, imagining one as large as a pizza--which, incidentally, would have been more expensive than their full pizzas! I looked over the Happy Hour menu, planning a future return. The cookie on the HH menu was only $2. A savings, I excitedly told our bartenders, Miyuki and Montana, of $23!!! No, they told me: 50 cents. I hadn't been able to see the dot.) And speaking of our barkeeps, I am so glad we sat up at the bar. They were wholly delightful and friendly. We very much enjoyed chatting with them. We felt like we had just moved and this was our new "neighborhood bar." And their recommendations for food and drink were spot on. The Smoke in Mirrors was fantastical! Great place!

The dining room was elegant yet cozy, with great lighting. The staff was also very friendly and our waiter was very helpful in aiding our choice. We ordered the Focaccia bread, the salmon momtadito and the tonnarelli as our entree. The focaccia was the only dissapointing item as it was very basic in my opinion, which isn't bad but just nothing exciting to write about. The appetizer, the salmon montadito, was probably my favorite item of the night. It was served on focaccia bread and drizzled with a truffle honey butter and sat upon a mascarapone yogurt. It was elegant and it was incredibly flavorful. The sweetness of the truffle honey butter was a great contrast to the salmon itself, and all melted together to make an exceptional appetizer. The tonnarelli was a pasta dish we split and was also very tasty. The pasta itself was a thicker spaghetti like pasta served with plenty of crab. It was tasty and it satisfied and I'd likely order it again as I will be back when my sister's visit. All in all, a great restaurant to spend a nice night right in the heart of Bellingham!

We came in for an early dinner so we were really able to enjoy the rustic ambience of this restaurant all by ourselves. As soon as we sat down the waitress was attentive and ready to take our order. I order the garden party off their cocktail menu. Snap pea gin, bay leaf vermouth, genepy, saline and pea shoot? I really was feeling adventurous with this one, a regrettable mistake. The first sip I thought I was drinking sea water with a touch of olive oil in it. I never send back drinks although I was close with this one, I sipped it throughout my meal. One critique I have about the cocktail menu is that every drink was over complicated with many exotic ingredients. There was nothing for someone who was looking for a simple craft cocktail. The table shared the Strawberry Panzanella, and once again I was accosted by an overwhelming salty and sour flavor. A traditional Italian salad consisting of grilled strawberry and focaccia croutons. The lemon vinaigrette dressing on this salad was salty and sour, and very overpowering. Unlike my drink we were unable to finish this one. I ordered the Roe Burger, which I had been really looking forward to trying, thankfully this one did not disappoint. Two smash burger patties that were thin, crispy, and cooked to perfection with slices of cheddar cheese on top are then placed on a bed of classic burger toppings. Tomato, pickles, and iceberg lettuce. This burger was served with crispy fries and garlic aioli. After my fist few bites my mind was beginning to change about this restaurant. We also shared the Reuben Croquettes. A super creative and unique spin on one of my personal favorite appetizers. These little fried pocket were filled with a delicious mixture of cheese and shredded corned beef. They were garnished with a small slice of pickle which was a great touch. For dessert we decided to try the hazelnut torte which was fantastic. It had a nice crisp outer layer with a soft gooey center. Lovely flavor and texture that ended our experience at Roe wonderfully. In conclusion our experience at Roe had its ups and downs but I left feeling satisfied. If you are looking for a unique culinary experience I would give this restaurant a try.

They've renovated recently, but kept the heart of what makes the place special. It's now more modern, but still feels the same in all the right ways. Every time we're driving to or from Vancouver, this is a must stop for us. Folks that work there always give me the feeling they they like what they do and they know what they are doing. Their wine selection is quirky and fun. And near the register, there are often bottles you just won't see in typical US liquor stores. I usually pick one or two to try. On the food side, we always, always get the beet salad, german potato salad and mac salad- they are all made european style. Those are non-negotiable sides for us. Last visit they had a watermelon gazpacho on the specials menu that perfectly balanced sweet and bright, super refreshing. What they do best is keep things simple but execute flawlessly. A good chunk of the sandwiches you can get half ( then they become slightly expensive halves due to pricing :) )Great bread, great ingredients, no fuss. The Italian sub is proof. It's classic and spot on. My personal go-to, however, is the horseradish roast beef, fantastic combination. And the rotating panini specials are always worth a look.
