Walk up ordering with a good selection! The food was good, I really enjoyed the fish tacos and love to see gluten free options! Fries are my favorite and these were very good, perfectly crispy. L said the burger wasn't mind-blowing but tasted good! Service was fine and the vibe was walk-up to order, sit down to eat, not a hang out kind of place.

We happened to be in Bellingham, so saw some good reviews of this place. It did not disappoint! Really good GF fish and chips, done in a dedicated GF fryer, with a side roulade sauce that was a wonderful accompaniment! The fish were crispy breaded sticks from top quality cod, possibly sourced a 1/4 mile away in the harbour! Staff were very aware of GF needs, and the menu was clearly marked. Great to have a tasty meal with the confidence that you will be safe!

Triple T burger; bacon, blue cheese and roasted beets. House made roll!

The menu has a great selection, salads, tacos, burger. Hand cut fries, house made soup. Very casual place to meet up and enjoy a meal. The Triple T burger with beets very tasty! The red lentils soup flavorful. Prices prices were the going rate for eating out these days. Quality and pride definitely part of the creating and producing the food.

Grood service and food. It's a busy spot so food takes a bit longer. Order at the counter and buss your own tables. Great chimichurri steak tacos, fish tacos looked good too. Bahn Mi bowl was good but a bit dry. Although the restaurant was full of people it was not overly noisy, which is a surprise for a wide open space with all hard surfaces. We'd come here again, especially convenient walking distance to Mount Baker Theatre.

How I heard of this place: On a visit to Bellingham back in December of 2018, my sister and her family invited us to enjoy a meal together at Brandywine Kitchen, one of their favorite, family friendly (everyone can find something to enjoy) establishments in town. Type of cuisine: "In 2002, Azizi Tookas and Chris Sunde began with the idea to incorporate cuisine and local farming into one. Brandywine Kitchen is the culmination of their passion for food and sustainable agriculture. Brandywine first began as an heirloom tomato farm and has grown its niche to include a diversity of produce. In 2008 Brandywine Gardens expanded into the prepared food business as Brandywine Kitchen. The result of this process is that Brandywine Kitchen can offer sustainable food that is locally based, delicious, and affordable. From seed to plate... From seed to plate is a motto that encompasses both our history as food producers and our belief that understanding and supporting local food systems, leads to a superior product. In addition to growing a small amount of heirloom tomatoes for the restaurant, we source local produce and other local products, allowing us to use the freshest ingredients possible, make personal relationships with local producers, and keep money circulating within the Bellingham community." Ambiance: A cool setting with exposed brick walls, rustic appeal in a large, spacious room where diners are invited to sit at large tables (also available outside). What I ordered: The Brandywine Burger, Fish & Chips, and a creamy Broccoli Soup beside an order of Mac & Cheese. What I loved: The crisp-ness of the fish, the excellet fries, the juicy and flavorful burger and the creaminess of the soup alongside a hearty bowl of mac & cheese. Why I loved it: Their concept is truly worth if not to mention the delicious food and easy-going atmosphere. Cost: Average ($10.50 - $13.50 per sandwich/burger or meal).

Love their Mac n cheese and fish and chips! So tasty and such a good happy hour. The service is always quick and the restaurant itself is often very calm.

Very nice space with tall ceilings and windows, light and airy atmosphere. The lack of table service takes it down a notch. Food is solidly in the "OK, I guess" camp. It would be a great place to eat and drink and hang out with friends on a rainy day. Dropped from three stars to two, as I got sick from the rancid salad oil that I ate.

The wait can be long but the food is great. Great panko crusted fish and chips. (Gluten free) highly recommend.

First of all, my server, Sierra, was perfectly awesome. She answered questions, was timely and…read moreservice-oriented, and she gave great food and drink recommendations. Wonderful food and drinks. I started with oyster shooters (Willapa Bay) along with a Lion's Tail cocktail. Sierra said the bourbon and lime complement each other. I wouldn't have thought so and thought it a bit of an odd choice. But she was right and I was wrong: it was fabulous. One of the most delicious drinks I've ever had, for my tastes. She gave me several recommendations for dinner. I picked the Jalapeño Chicken. It was luscious and flavorful, but the best part of it was my choice of Balsamic Brussels sprouts as my side--oh my! These were so delicious I ordered two more batches to have at home. Lovely espresso martini to end it all.

Stopped by Bellingham to grab a quick lunch after hiking to Fragrance Lake. As a cat lover this…read morerestaurant really had me at the name already lol. I was happy to see steamed clams on the menu. I grew up eating fresh steamed seafood for dinner, so battered fried seafood that is more common here hasn't really grown on me yet. To me fried seafood is a fancy version of chicken nuggets. I loved the clams, so light but bland. The sauce is full of umami flavor, drizzled with some fresh lemon juice, it was like a summery beachy afternoon in a bowl. I could easily dip a loaf of toast with it if I had one. The clams were fresh and meaty, nothing to complain about with this dish. My partner had the grilled cheese, and he said it was mid. He's vegetarian, and I don't like cheese, so I didn't bother to try any of his meal to do my own fact check. The staff were friendly too. Overall, this is a nice place to grab lunch when visiting Bellingham.
