We visited just before 1 on a Monday. There was another couple and the three of us and a family behind us, so pretty slow. The man behind the counter was helpful... Randy ordered the ranch fried chicken sandwich and he said it was ok. He didn't really like the garlic fries he ordered with it. Corina ordered the Fiamma cheeseburger and said it was ok. She also didn't enjoy the garlic fries and neither of us liked the ranch. I ordered the mini burger and asked for Swiss instead of American cheese but that's not what I received. We're in kind of a hurry so when he offered to have it redone correctly, I declined. The burger was ok but definitely would have been better without American cheese. It's a mouth feel thing for me - I don't like it. I also ordered onion rings. They were good. There is a long communal type table in the middle of the place with some 2 and 4 seater tables around that. We won't come back because we've had much better and not paid $70 for it. The staff was nice enough. [Most likely local college students. We support that.] It was 'clean' enough. Spent $75 for 3 persons. Dissapointments = After we ordered, I watched the 'chef' open a bag of pre-made onion rings to put in the fryer. I SHOULD have asked to REMOVE them from our order. (What happened to the hand dipped ones we got a month or so ago?) Not cooked all the way thru and doughy. So dissapointing. The burger: Bun was stale. Really enjoyed walking around downtown Bellingham enjoying the local vibes. Who doesn't love a local burger joint!?! We were hungry and decided to stop and try this place out. What a great decision! There were so many different options for burgers and I was really tempted to get the B'ham burger but decided to get the green chile cheese burger. Definitely a bit messy with two beef patties with Hatch green chiles, queso and pepper-jack cheese, fried serrano pepper, lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion and secret sauce. It's a lot of toppings which made it a bit sloppy and messy. The sign of a good burger to me! We also upgraded to sweet potato fries which were fantastic. Best burgers in Bellingham! The beef is grown locally and is delicious! For me personally the American cheese is too much - swiss might be better. The sweet potato fry's are sooooo good. I like the creative fountain drinks. Looking forward to trying the poutine. So, I love a smash burger, thin crispy on both sides with fresh veg, this is similar, but without the crispiness, and the meat had very little flavor, perhaps need more salt? The veg was great (fresh and crispy) bacon was crispy and yummy, because of course I got a bacon cheeseburger. So the burgers were good but not out of the norm. However their garlic Parmesan fries were delicious and even great later in our air fryer for snack. Delicious burgers!! They have a wall of cider and beers to choose from. The pepper burger I ordered was mild spicy and their onion rings were thick and crispy. The business seemed clean. Wow, what the heck happened to Fiamma Burger? We haven't been in a while and it used to be our favorite place for a burger and fries, best ever! We went yesterday and it was mostly awful. The burger was the greasiest burger I think I've ever had and cooked to death. The paper it was wrapped in was entirely soaked in grease - as in, too slippery to hold. The fries were not at all the same, and also arrived in grease soaked paper. SO disappointed. The milkshake, however, was great. I had never had a shake there, and it really was excellent. But the main point, for me anyway, is the burger and fries, and I would definitely not go back. Service was friendly. The tables were dirty, not wiped between customers. You order at a counter, food is delivered to you, you are expected to clear your table, and for 2 burgers, 2 fries, 1 small shake and 1 soda, the bill came to $45. My son had the Salmon Burger with an Oreo Vanilla shake, my wife had the Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger and I had the Special Burger with garlic fries combo with a fountain drink. I like the fry choices they have as you could get sweet potato fries, chili fries or even Poutine! (I guess they're pretty close to Canada). My burger was cooked just right and served up fast. I ended up eating part of my wife's Bacon Mushroom Swiss Burger as she got full (I aim to please!) and it was also tasty. I really loved the fountain drink choices and tried a couple of the lemonades. We had just eaten at La Fiamma Pizza the day prior and now the burger place. Stopped by here for lunch this past weekend and this place didn't disappoint me at all! Took me a while to decide what to order on their menu. In the end, I got their Hot Chicken Sandwich combo. Plus 4.95 for a side of fries and soda. My friends order their burgers and strawberry shakes. The service was decent. The food came out pretty fast. They have plenty of sauce option from the sauce dispenser. Including the basic condiment and also some unique ones such as Curry mayo, and Chipotle ketchup. My chicken sandwich was tasty but the piece of the chicken is pretty small compare to the burger my friend got around the price. Fries was good, nothing too special about them. Where do I start 1. It is not fast food. 30+ minute wait. We were told this AFTER we ordered. 2. What we ordered was 1 burger one Jr burger large fries, and an order of onion rings. 2 drinks (replaced the special sauce with mayonnaise on the junior burger) I had ordered the junior burger with the side, fries, and drink... I was up visiting a friend last week & had never been here before. 3 burgers 3 fries 3 sodas was 60-70$. That's way over priced. The burgers were tiny like smaller than McDonald's child burgers the sodas were also child size. the fries were made wrong thankfully the staff fixed it but they were about the only edible food. The staff was nice but the place was dirty the bathroom is locked because they don't trust people to use it without a code & frankly the amount of bugs flying inside was prob way past food safety. Now for flavor that cheeseburger I got tasted like fish. Like they cook the fish and the burger on the same grills and are cooking food properly or I shouldn't have been tasting fish. Cow & fish aren't even close to each other to share the same flavor. It was vomit worthy & I did get sick later that night. Since I hadn't had any food in 2 days cause car trips & food don't mix I know nothing else was in my system to make me sick except this places food. Also their sauces & ice cream are mayo / custard based so if your allergic to egg it's really just not advised. You can get a veggie burger but the sauce is egg based so it's not exactly doing much for you. It does have a nice community style eating area for college kids to pull out their books & have room to study but there's really 0 special about this place. I ordered the Fiamma Cutie with green chile and, let me tell you, this was the closest I'll probably get to Flavortown here in Bellingham. There's very few options for green chile here in the extreme PNW, but thank goodness for Fiamma Burger. My husband ordered their already-put-together Green Chile Cheeseburger and had a similar experience. The service was decent, pricing was reasonable, and the order came up in about 10-12 minutes. Stopped in for a bite while visiting WWU campus w/my remote student daughter. Nice selection to choose from--ingredients, sauces, add-ons, sides, etc. My choice was the Bacon Cheeseburger Combo. Solid burger, but a bit too "pristene." All the elements are there, just needs to be put together with a little "abandon" so it doesn't seem so formulaic. Very good setup for dealing with Covid restrictions: distancing reminders, pick-up shelves, pay stations, outdoor dining. Will definitely return to try some other menu items. read more

Gosh, hard to write this review, as we used to love this place. Went there late last year, and the burger was small, pretty tasteless, and way overpriced. Read that they updated their menu and prices, so gave it another try. Super disappointed. Wife and I ordered two double (3 ounce) burgers, with fries and 2 pops, with tip and tax it was $50 for 2 of us (!). Mind you, this isn't even a full service restaurant. Fries were (still) really good - they should be for $4.50. The burgers were still the same tasteless patties we had before - tasted like there wasn't even basic seasoning. They have posters up about how they ground their own beef, or else I'd argue these are cheap frozen patties. Buns were just fine - nothing tasted "made that day" squishy like you'd hope. I root for local places, and try to give them the benefit of the doubt. But just can't do this again. Not sure what happened, as it was our go to burger place downtown for years. I wish them the best. I'd recommend you try The Filling Station instead - about 20% less $, with full service, amazing normal sized burgers, fantastic fries, and fresh buns. read more
