Hmm, not sure if the quality has gone downhill, if I just had a bad one-off or what, but I remember this place a lot better than my experience today. Went at open with a friend of mine to catch up. We ordered to go to bring our food to a brewery down the street. The service was good, everything was set up to be safe during the pandemic which I liked, and the girl that took our order was friendly and also told me where the bathroom was. The bathroom is so cool and interesting, but the automatic flush didn't work, none of the sink was automatic, and the trash can was not next to the door, so a lot of touching of surfaces was involved which threw me off a little (the trash can by the door helps to use the paper towel to open and dispose upon exit). Got our food and took it just down the street a couple blocks and when I went to eat was pretty darn unimpressed. The burger and fries were already cold, the bun was pretty dry, and there wasn't much flavor. I paid extra for elk and peanut butter on my burger, and the patty was very small, and the peanut butter was barely present. The fries would have been good, except they were already at room temperature and were beginning to loose their crispness. I remember really enjoying this place and their different patties and add-ons in college, but it has been 7 years since I've been, so either I am misremembering or they went downhill - OR I just had a one-off poor experience. However, I would think the food at open (we were the first customers at 11am) would be the freshest of the day, so I'm not so sure. I was debating between two or three stars, and unfortunately I think this falls on the two star side. read more

First of all, the burgers and onion rings are always AMAZING!!! Hand made onion rings. Awesome sweet potato fries. Delicious sauces. HOWEVER...I ordered a milkshake for the first time today. Vanilla add Oreo milkshake and it was soooo gross tasting. Ugh. Tasted fishy with like a weird metallic aftertaste. Ew. Never again. It's all good except whatever you do, NEVER GET A MILKSHAKE FROM HERE! Also super sad they got rid of their grass fed burger. read more

I don't know what else you could want from a burger place. I had a classic cheeseburger with their cheddar/Jack and it was exactly what I wanted. Excellent patty, perfectly cooked, on the right sized bun, with nice crisp lettuce, pickles and onion and just enough of their spread. Then the sweet potato fries!! Nice and crispy and salty, and the chili lime ranch dipping sauce made them even better. I wanted to like this place. Reviews even say these are the best burgers in town but people are trippinggg. Tasted like triple the price Jack-in-the-Box :( Meat itself (fried chicken and bison) we're fine it was all the other things that were lackluster. Fries were meh. I've had really good food here many times, very delicious but a bit expensive, however what you get is worth the money. Definitely can be a bit greasy, especially the spicy chicken sandwich which is really delicious but very greasy, kind of what I expect though. When ordering through Uber eats I've had forgotten items a couple times, but any time I went in the restaurant and most of the time I've ordered online my service was fine, food was always very hot and delicious. I like the inside of the place quite a bit too, great decorations and I liked the places I sat at, the seating seems adequate for the amount of people there whenever I went but I could see that this place could easily get really packed on a Friday or Saturday night because of its location. read more

Very nice layout. It doesn't look like the usual burger joint and that's cool. Very kid friendly, and that's a plus. Few tables outside, and that's great. Food... good, but nothing great. I've heard this is the best burger in Bellingham so I had to try it out! The burger was pretty good, I enjoyed the croissant type bun it was on. I wish there was a bit more flavor in the burger though. The fries that I got with the burger were absolutely amazing. I'm a fry fanatic and these definitely get a top ranking from me. read more

Grabbed some food here yesterday on our day trip to Bellingham. We got a NW burger, spicy chicken burger, and a couple orders of garlic fries. The total came to $17 for a burger and small side of fries, which is super pricey for what you're getting. The burger was really small, bland, and dry. There was basically no flavor. The chicken burger was also pretty bland too. The highlight of the meal was the garlic fries. Unfortunately, I would only recommend the garlic fries here. read more

My friend and I went there yesterday,I got the kid burger asked for no ketchup or mustard came with both so I told them, made a new one for me. Tasted weird so I only ate a few bites, was sick most the night because of it. The guy that took the order and women that brought the food were very nice, but there was something not right about that burger. wouldn't go back. On a recommendation from a local friend, we placed a large takeout order. Everyone seemed to enjoy their burgers and fries, I had the Hot Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. The sandwich was great, a decent sized chicken thigh, not dry and nicely seasoned. The sweet potato fries were good too but seems like they forgot to season them since I didn't taste any chili lime flavor. Enjoyed a delicious lamb burger and garlic fries. The lamb burger, while not a fat patty, was enough when combined with the arugula, onions and curry mayo that made me feel like I was eating a mix between Indian and American food. The garlic fries (~$4) are easily split between two, and it's self serve condiments which is always nice. They had unique options like curry mayo and chipotle ketchup on top of old classics. Walked in and was greeted by a kind team behind the counter! All the employees were super friendly and easy to talk to when ordering here for the first time. Their sweet potato fries were incredible! The garlic friends were also really good. I went to Fiamma Burger last weekend and I really enjoyed it! Walking in, I immediately noticed it was very bright and clean inside - great first impression! I got garlic fries and the lamb burger. It all tasted amazing! I was expecting the lamb burger to have more lamb, but it was perfect how it was! Food is made quickly and brought out to your table here. I also tried a can of cider here that was really good (I can't remember the name, but it's from Olympia, WA). The staff here are very nice and provide great service. I was new, so they explained the menu to me and recommended customer favorites. After seeing all the raving reviews here and on google I drove down from Ferndale to pick up some burgers and fries for my wife after a stressful work day. Got a mushroom Swiss burger modified to be vegan for her and regular lamb burger for me and a large fry. The fries were average. I put some seasoning salt on them at home to make em a little better. The burgers were pretty tasty but unfortunately I had to eat both of them since her burger came with meat, cheese, and sauce on it despite the cashier and I double checking everything was marked right on the order. This is a back of the house issue and is incredibly frustrating because at the end of a long and stressful day I drive 20 minutes into town for good food and end up coming home with some okay fries and no food for my wife. I've gone 2 times now, everything here is extremely greasy which is fine for fast food but this is way more than normal. the first time I had the mushroom Swiss which was good but for the price it wasn't worth it. I had normal fries which are just regular fries nothing special. The second time I got the fiamma burger with garlic fries. I got it to go and ate it about 10min later. I had cravings for a big juicy burger but was spending the day with a friend who is more healthy and environmentally conscious than burgers usually are. Just before lunch she said there's this burger place she's curious about. Umm, YES! She got delayed at work so I ran up to grab the burgers. We both chose the NW Burger on beef (their website menu was more extensive and useful than the one here on Yelp). She wrote a note with her modifications, and the burgers were perfect. She commented on how it was perfectly cooked (a tad rare) for grass-fed beef. I'm assuming they were cooked medium-rare because of the time I spent walking back to the office. The flavors perfectly complimented. As a useful point, the guy who brought out the order mentioned that he marked the one with modifications. Oh, and from the picture at the register I ordered two serves of sweet potato fries but sharing one would do. They came with a dipping sauce but I found them delicious alone. The food was absolutely phenomenal, my partner and I both enjoyed a bacon cheeseburger and garlic fries which make my mouth water just thinking about them. The sad part of our experience at Fiamma burger was the customer service. There was a short blonde girl with glasses who rolled her eyes the moment we walked into the restaurant and huffed every time we asked to make changes for our burgers. She was extremely unwelcoming the entire interaction and seemed to be more entertained gossiping with her coworkers than helping customers. For me, the food here is five stars all day other than I wish that they did their burger patty in more of a loose chuck and not the way they do do it which is more of a mesh consistency but they are hardly alone in the style of their burger patty, so I can't really complain. The thing that has been bugging me the last several times I've been there is just how unbelievably lazy the front of house staff is... the bus tub set is full of dirty dishes and the tables are covered in food scraps from sloppy eaters every time the whole time I am there. Mind you this is not when there's any kind of line present or food coming out that would otherwise demand their attention... they literally are just standing up there doing nothing while the place looks like a freaking pigsty. There's a lot of burger joints in the area and Fiama Burgers the champ in these parts. My usual is the B"Ham". Those fried, crispy onions along with a sunny side-up egg, gives the burger a whole nother depth to the burger. The onions gives texture to the burger. The egg yolk is runny so when popped the yolk cascades throughout the burger, almost like gravy. I love dipping my fries in the curry mayo. Good stuff. I don't know how often it changes, but the have a special burger that sometimes has different type of protein for the burger like bison, venison or gator. Had them at least once, always seem to go back to the usual. Comic book month are always fun. Getting to catch up on why Veronica dumped Archie is great way to kill time, waiting for you food.
