This mustard was almost like eating wasabi. Very interesting.

The service was good. I enjoyed my cheeseburger. They gave us a Dijon mustard that was interesting. It was very hot, like wasabi. We couldn't stop eating it with bread. It can get extremely busy here. The weekends are much slower. It also seems to be well insulated against traffic noise.

We tried this restaurant after exploring the area near our hotel. The waiter was able to work through our French and his English to help us with the menu. We found the service very good, and the Onion Soup and Desserts fantastic - definitely 4 stars. Our 2 entrees were very hearty and with good portions, but they were more of an acquired taste (Coq au vin and Noir sausage). The value was very good - with a fixed price menu (43 €) that included all 3 courses, coffee and with two persons, a bottle of wine. Again, service was very good. We were very pleased with our choice of restaurant, we just may have made different choices on entrees.

This is a very nice restaurant to stop and get very nice food. Also to stop and have a drink outside while looking at the beautiful gate of the Parc Monceau. Highly recommended for everybody.

The tables inside have a great view too!

Very disappointed. The steak was tough. I could barely cut it. My wife's chicken was the same. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses. This was a lovely Parisian experience. Highly recommend.
