    Artichoke and Parmesan
    Danielle D.

I loved this bistro! Lots of locals (not touristy), outdoor eating, friendly waiters and delicious food! I started with the shaved artichoke and Parmesan that had a lemony vinaigrette and then the veal Milanese for my main. Sooooo good! I wish I had enough room for dessert! I will definitely go back here next time I'm in Paris!

Disappointed in the ribeye - hard and chewy. Onion soup was good. Beef flank was good.

    Stinky snails
    Yang D.

I chose this place thought it would be nice because of its French menu. It was the only one of the three restaurants on this circus serving snails. Unfortunately I had worst experience in my life, I had two stinky snail. With that doubt, my friend also had one and it was stinky too. It is out of expectation but I tried to tell the waiter. He certainly denied and said cook another three for us, but come on I only want the chef to know they are not serving fresh snails and there must be problem in my dish. With a disappointing heart I had my entrecôte. It is so tough to cut and I didn't have a steak knife. My friend ordered a deep friend crispy chicken filet. Too thick! I should have not expected a nice meal at busy traffic crossing. It is never wrong that this type of restaurant is only suitable for a drink, definitely not food. I should have learnt.

A glow stick does not improve a bad mojito.

Ok, had beverages. Not impressed. Mojito: worst ever, though I did like the glow stick stirrer. It was fun watching the waiters hit on the girls at the table next to us- classy! Had to ask repeatedly for check. Like I said, meh....

Casual cafe with decent food and a cozy ambiance. We tried the burger and a fish dish and both were great. We had no problems with service. Our waiter was friendly and the food came out in a timely manner. Wine and food are reasonably priced as well.

    Lamb noisette with grapefruit juice.

This restaurant was also one of the lesser crowded eateries in the area... and now I know why: Came here for dinner and had the lamb noisette. It was pretty good except the portion was so small. I also had the grapefruit juice and it was sooo expensive for the tiny amount they gave. Decent service though and nice ambience. But not sure if I would recommend to anyone. It's just average

Near to Victor Hugo Metro. The staff are quite warm and welcoming, the decor and general atmosphere is pleasant. But coffees are quite expensive. But we are in the 16th district,... So we should not be surprised.

Great cozy place in the best part of town! Come and enjoy and remember good times from past, now and future!! Antoine took excellent care for us. We loved this place. It's midnight Saturday and young couples still coming in. A very busy place. We don't u detest and the 3 stars at all. We are very picky and we rate this place 4.5 star with fantastic prices. You will love it too. Ask for Antoine!! And let us know...

Assiette gourmande. Caviar d'aubergine is really not good neither tasty. But guacamole is excellent and the gambas as well. 23€

Luca was my server and he was very welcoming in hospitable to this weary traveler. I sat on the patio towards the end of the row so I could take in the atmosphere and people watch a bit. Luca Recommended a meal with a mashed potatoes and sausage with French bread and salad and it sounded tasty so I gave it a go! All the flavors went well together; mashed potatoes were well seasoned the sausage had a good flavor, and the salad with the vinaigrette added a crunch in an extra flavor as well. I drank a French hard cider while I gobbled up my meal, which also was new for me and tasted great after I was done my meal. Luke brought me a shot with rum and some other ingredients, including lemon that definitely hit the spot after a good meal.I recommend Brasserie Belanger for anyone near GDN Train Station that enjoys great food and patio dining. Cheers!

The restaurant itself isn't small, but really not big, so it's definitely worthwhile to make a reservation at least a week or so on advance, otherwise you're pushing your luck. Everyone ordered steak frites (2 rump steak, 2 flank) and no one was disappointed. Steaks were cooked to order, although medium here in France is more like medium rare in the States, just be advised. The restaurant itself is lively and fun with lots of chatting, laughing and good times being shared. Desserts were Crème Brûlée and Apple Crumble, neither of which were disappointing. We definitely enjoyed our dinner and would likely return again. This time with a reservation made well in advance.

We were seated at a table facing the smaller street with IKEA City. Not much people-watching happened given shops were already closed in the evening and thus less people shopping on the streets. We ordered the croque monsieur and croque madame. The difference between the two is that the croque madame comes with a fried sunny side up egg. This was heavy but so yummy! The egg yolk makes a great sauce to soak up this cheesy and hammy toast. This came with a salad on the side which had a vinegar based dressing coated on it. The only thing is we had miscommunication with the waitress about drinks. We asked for water (l'eau) but they gave us distilled water in a bottle which costed us 8 euros. I learned it's important to learn to specifically ask for carafe d'eau (tap water in French) to get free water! Felt a bit bad that we were overcharged. Just gotta be careful with communicating next time. All in all, I enjoyed trying the amazing sandwich that is a croque madame. Wanted to give 4 stars for the food but the bottled water still irks me.

First off, this is an iconic historic hotel. Beautiful location at Place Vendome. My friend and I were hungry and on a weekday night and randomly walked in and were promptly seated. I'm not sure how it normally goes here regarding wait times and reservations. The French onion soup and lobster rolls were divine. The server would walk around with a bread box and would bring the whole box to the table and you could pick from there. We had cereal bread and an onion focaccia. Amazing! They gave us complimentary chocolates too. The vibes and ambience are immaculate. It looks like a classic fancy restaurant. There was a piano player too! They gave us a little chair for our purses.
