This is a pretty good bar/restaurant near the Louvre/Tuileries if you're needing something to end the day with. The food was all good (and my first-ever beer tartare was great), even the chips and guacamole. Those may be about as good as you'll get on this side of the pond, though they still leave something to be desired. The waitstaff was accommodating to only one of my group being able to speak French, and we also had some good quick conversations. We never lacked for anything we needed. My fiance and I came here on a Sunday evening and were left speechless by how lovely our dining experience was! For starters, we LOVED that there was live music to set the tone for a beautiful night. The restaurant itself looks very chic and classy- with candlelit tables and elegant decor- just how you'd picture a french bistro to look. We started off with french onion soup- which was probably the most delicious one we've ever tried! For mains, I ordered the duck confit and my fiance had the rigatoni with mushroom sauce. Again, we were floored by how delicious the food was! Although I loved my meal, my fiance's rigatoni with mushroom sauce was absolutely phenomenal and I ended up stealing more than a few bites from him. I would order the rigatoni with mushroom sauce the next time! For dessert, my fiance and I shared a vanilla creme brulee. Everything from start to finish was pure perfection. Was staying at the hotel next door and stumbled upon this place after a long travel day. The service was great and they even have live music on certain nights! My fiancé and I actually ended up dining here three times we loved it so much. Good customer service. Located near place de la Concorde. Good offering for a lunch menu. I had the sea bass tartare for the starter. It was ok. The main entree was the a chicken remoulade with a buttery sauce with small diced potatoes and chestnuts. Chicken was a little dry. Since I wanted to cut down on sweets, I opted to take the cheese plate instead of the chocolate mousse. Big mistake. Two small pieces of the same cheese was not good. We were seated on the edge of the interior section just before the outdoor seats and we appreciated that they were using every other table in accordance with the appropriate social distance protocols. Came here early around 6:30 pm and ordered: Lamb chops with side of green beans: This was well seasoned and juicy, although had quite a bit of fat to it. This wasn't my dish and I only tasted it and thought it was good. Steak tartar (requested it seared) with side of fries: I devoured my steak tartar and this was my first time ever trying it. It was well seasoned and you must like onions to order this as this was it's main flavor. The beef was fresh and I was surprised by how much I loved it. I wouldn't necessarily go out of my way to eat here, it's not like it was a gastronomic experience or anything, but it was good and certainly didn't disappoint. Service was friendly and good. Of course like everywhere else in Paris, there was complimentary bread. Remember that if you sit outside, you will be inhaling smoke. I had such high hopes just to have them dashed by my 2nd piece of shrimp "tempura". First the location and decor are great. It has a retro hip black and red decor and male waiters in kilts. The waiters were both pleasant and attractive. How rare is that? Unfortunately your do not eat only with your eyes. The shrimp tempura came extremely quick, yet it was not hot and the batter was not tempura. It literally arrived within 4 minutes of placing my order and the restaurant was rather busy. The second piece of shrimp tasted rancid. Also like it was recycled. Thinking it a fluke I tried a piece of the third, same rancid taste. I decided not to test the other 4 large shrimp for fear of food poisoning and I had important meeting in the a.m. I can only pray that this was not recycled food. My milkshake was just ok. It was a milk and ice based concoction. I do not believe there was any "ice cream" in the chocolate hazelnut shake. At least my lobster sandwich was tasty. If you stay at the Sofitel and don't want to spend €19 on basic alcohol (like Jack Daniels), walk about 15 steps to the right as you exit the front door and eat or drink at this place instead. I assume this is where they get like 75% of their business, as the road itself is blocked off to car traffic with armed guards standing at either end. Side note - the guards are for the embassy, not for the Sofitel, which is a hotel that you should not stay at unless you want to have money taken from your room and then a completely inadequate response from the hotel management when you complain. Back to Felix, they have pretty good food and also good drinks. I had many 1664 blanches here. Not sure if you pluralize blanch that way, but I just did. The foie gras is actually very good. We stayed in Paris for 5 days right down the street at the Sofitel Hotel, and we couldn't be more impressed with the service of the wait staff, and also the quality of the food. DELICIOUS, fresh ingredients. Loved the steak tartar, salads, escargots, and the wine selection as well....oh yeah...try the creme brûlée and even the cheesecake. We had to stop by this place because the Italian restaurant next door was closed. We were so hungry and thought that it couldn't be that bad since there were quite a lot of people there. Boy, were we wrong. The food was mediocre, but that's not the main complaint. Service was horrendous. They had one server to attend to everyone. She was running amok and even managed to spill coke onto a customer, as well as bike a glass at the same time. Took them like forever to get our food to us. We will definitely not return. read more

Normally I would not order this but this time (9 Nov) I was with my son, knew he wasn't going to eat much, and so ordered the most "unoffensive" thing that I knew he would eat some of. (He's still a bit of a picky eater). The gravy helped but not much. My son ate his part begrudgingly. The fries are okay. Not the best I've had but will do in a pinch.
