My friend and I could not have asked for a better way to celebrate her birthday!! It was our first time there and everyone was so friendly and went out of their way to make the night special! Mauro, the owner greeted me when I walked in and Mark Anthony, our waiter, was very knowledgeable about gluten and right away knew how I could enjoy a gluten free version of Veal Parmesan (Veal Paillard with red sauce and mozzarella cheese). It was absolutely delicious! My friend ordered the fettuccine bolognese and raved about it! Mark also organized for the everyone to sing Happy Birthday to my friend as he brought the Tartufo we ordered with a candle in it. Mauro also took part in singing Happy Birthday to my friend. Really disappointing experience due to the service. The blonde older waitress we had was rude in every single interaction. She responded to simple questions with snarky remarks and made us feel like we were inconveniencing her just by being there. She never once checked in to refill our waters or ask how the food was, that is, until it was time to bring the bill. Suddenly she was friendly and attentive when it came to tip time. Funny how that works. The wait times were excessive at every stage. Our appetizer took over 30 minutes to arrive, and the fried calamari was served lukewarm. Even after we paid with cash, getting our change back took so long that we eventually just walked out. It's unfortunate because the food itself was good. However, the rude and inattentive service completely overshadowed the meal. Based on this experience, I won't be returning. read more

This is a cute little restaurant just off a busy beach town street, tucked in a bit of a quieter corner but still close to everything. Honestly I found the food to all be very good, including the free bread! We enjoyed so much we forgot to take pics! Even the wine recommended by our server was excellent. The highlight was definitely the service - fun, friendly, warm, kind. Our server, Louie, was full of jokes and even magic tricks!! He made our birthday celebration very memorable, complete with an elaborate dessert with sparklers and tambourines! Highly recommend. If you are fan of Italian food this place is very authentic. Food is very delicious I mean deeliciouus . I had a Linguine Le Sorelle. It comes with variety of seafood. If you are seafood lover definitely try it. Their sauce was amazing. We also ordered small pizza to try. I asked for recommendations for pizza and they recommended Pizza Le Sorelle. When it came I noticed right away the meat on top of it looks like pork. I told them I don't eat pork and they immediately took and made a Pizza Margherita. Pizza is also very tasty. We are Saturday night and they had live music. Service was bellissimo! Plenty of parking available. I would definitely come back to this place. read more

This is actually the first time I've felt compelled to write a review, but I believe this restaurant truly deserves it to save other customers from making the same mistakes I did today. I was charged an astonishing $79.00 for what might be the worst fish I've ever encountered. It was so unpalatable that I couldn't bring myself to eat it; in fact, I told the staff I was full and ended up tossing it straight into the garbage. Then, to make matters worse, I was charged $65.00 for a pasta dish that came with only three shrimp--what in the world?! Those prices are nothing short of outrageous. I wouldn't mind paying a premium if the food was worth it, but this was just unacceptable. To top it all off, the restaurant was completely empty when we arrived, which should have been a red flag. Fantastic Italian Cuisine and very large portions. Very Fun atmosphere and warm friendly service. My only suggestion is that they had a one man band playing annoying music too loud. My other table mates didn't seem to mind but it was driving me a little El Loco. Lower volume please. Used to be really good and we were regulars. Now food is unseasoned. Steak tough. Linguini with clams had sand as clams were not cleaned properly. One entire entree forgotten after an extremely long wait. Cancelled the entree and shared with another person. It took 2.5 hours for dinner with one appetizer and no desert and the restaurant was not even half full. Everything is ala carte and expensive. Waitress was inattentive and complaining about the kitchen being backed up but two other tables seated at the same time received food had dinner and were already gone just as our appetizers were arriving. Had to ask for Parmesan cheese for pasta and more water. Then we were charged for the entree we never received. Lovely owners but unfortunately we won't be back. read more

Celebrated a birthday for my mother-in-law here a few weeks ago. The service was exceptional... Really exceptional. Atmosphere was fun and inviting, like you would expect to feel when going to an extended family member's home. We were definitely not treated like strangers, though it was our first visit. She didn't want to cause a screen so she ate it. The cutlet was pounded thin and was dry like shoe leather. My friend order the veal cutlet and he said his was the same. Food was pretty good and they were very accommodating, I have a friend with dairy and gluten allergy. As a table we shared calamari, salad, burrata and 2 different pizza's. Very homey atmosphere, great staff, delicious homemade pasta and entrées, and fantastic live music. Found this hole in the wall gem through Yelp and was excited to try it for Valentine's Day. We made a reservation for the weekend before and on a Saturday night it was definitely packed by 7 pm. The brick oven in the middle of the restaurant is a sight to see and it was bustling. The live musician was totally Frank Sinatra and very good. They had a great friendly staff. The fresh basket of bread was fresh baked, crusty and hot. Amazingly good. We started with baked clams and they were nicely breaded and meaty. My husband got the braciola and it was very unique. Beefy outside layer, cheesy inside and lots of veggies all around. Definitely rich. My Strozzapreti all'Amatriciana was delightful. Can definitely tell the pasta was made in house. It was cooked al dente and the sauce was full of bacon and tomato. Loved it! Then... Especially since I wanted Veal parm, a salad, and side, that would have been $120 to the christmas menu of which nothing could, would you believe nothing, I wanted and the dinner would have been $200 First, no Italian or Festive music no abbiance, the place looked like a dingy pizzeria not a 5 star resort restaurant charging $275 dinner with a couple of drinks, your delusional. If Gordon Ramsay walked in he'd say shut it down. My special pasta dish made in the parmaggia wheel was actually unpleasant to eat as the truffle oil was of such poor quality. Recently my wife celebrated a birthday. To make it a special occasion, I arranged to surprise her with dinner at Le Sorelle, in Boca. I made the reservation online and when prompted for a "special request," I asked that some acknowledgement be made - some floral decor, a slice of cake with a birthday candle, something. To make sure everyone was "copacetic" with the plan, I made a special trip over to the restaurant a few days prior, and spoke with the young lady who is the manager(?). "Oh everything will be taken care of," she assured me. Great, I thought. Comes the dinner, we had our meal - a bronzino my wife enjoyed thoroughly. But my veal chop was tough, chewy and a bit fatty and veiny (both meals of which were extraordinarily price-y). The more significant disappointment, however, came when the meal was finished. The bill was presented and nothing had been additionally brought to the table in the way of dessert, décor (maybe a parting flower?) or even well wishes regarding my wife's birthday. After I had her wait at the car, I went back in and addressed our waiter who said he knew nothing about her birthday. I reminded him I filled out the online reservation with instructions, and followed up with an in-person meeting with the manager at the restaurant. He knew nothing about it, he said, because no notes or information had been passed along to him. The manager, conveniently, was not at the restaurant that evening. My question, of course, is with all the technology and state of the art internal restaurant management communications available, why wasn't this simple directive available to our waiter...whoever that would have been?! Had he known, he said, he would have offered us a free dessert. Well, then, when I told him what happened, why didn't he right then and there offer us something to at least take home?! He then said he would pass this situation on to management (the young lady? The owners?) and someone would get back to me. It's now been well over a week, and I've heard nothing. Oh, and one other observation: the background music played in the restaurant was of lousy, contemporary rock...from a radio station, with commercials, no less. Proceeded to charge $179 for that steak. Now we've been to almost every steakhouse in the area. Haven't paid as much as that anywhere. We've been to the other 2 locations, food is good prices are fair but this just felt wrong.
