I CANNOT EXPLAIN HOW GREAT THIS IS! As a person with celiac disease and multiple food allergies I can't eat at most places! I.had a tasty breakfast and am not leaving sick afterwards due to kitchen negligence! The manager even asked what items might be dangerous to me since he didn't want to unknowingly mess up. My husband and I went to Le Peep for brunch, and we were delighted with the service, atmosphere, and most importantly, the food. My husband ordered the Lemon Ricotta Blueberry Pancakes, which came with his choice of breakfast meat (he chose bacon), and I ordered The Wanderer Skillet (Peasant Potatoes, crisp bacon, onions, tomatoes and combo cheese all topped with two basted eggs) which came with my choice of bread (I chose an english muffin). The pancakes were true to the description - perfect balance of lemon flavor, just enough blueberries, and fluffy - delicious! My skillet breakfast was exactly what I was craving - the potatoes were seasoned and cooked perfectly, and it was plated in a way that looked appetizing and not just a pile of food. Our waiter was attentive, but not overly so. The table was clean and the atmosphere had the right amount of buzz to provide background noise, but without overpowering our own conversation. This location is not small overall, but the area where we were seated had a lot of tables. We were seated at the end of a table for 6, which potentially meant we would have shared seating with strangers, although we did not. Today we went to eat at le peep for breakfast after seeing such great reviews. While waiting to be seated, lots of people started to crowd the waiting area but looking around the restaurant, we noticed tables were open that we could have easily been sat in, but they had not been bussed. We waited another 10 minutes after being seated for drinks. After our waiter took our order, we waited another 40 minutes and still had no food. Our waiter never came to check on us or give us an update as to what was taking so long. After this hour long waste of time we decided to pay for our drinks and leave. All around bad. This place was empty on a Sunday morning. The decor is badly outdated, which would not be a big deal except they have a sign out front saying they are remodeling in mid-September. It's now mid-October and nothing has been done. Coffee was terrible. I sent it back and said it must be old and the lady argued with me that she just brewed it. Ok, then stop buying the cheapest coffee available because it's bad. My husband ordered the stuffed French toast and only ate half. We told our waitress he did not like it and she picked it up, dug through it with his fork and argued with us some more. She did not remove it from our bill. We didn't ask her to but that is kinda hospitality 101. The staff was using the private dining room as a break room and were goofing around with the side door while we were eating. The music is bad Gwen stefani from the 90s. One of the worst breakfast experiences we have had. Sad because the location is great. read more

Very good breakfast spot! I read a previous review about the Texas pecan coffee served here and asked about it. The server didn't have any brewed, but went back and made some for me. I chose the Rock Lobster scrambler which was delicious and came out super fast. My server was very pleasant! read more

Can't complain about the food but the employees who are working control the air conditioning to their comfort .... forget the customers. LePeep became my favorite place to eat after our wonderful experience at the Flower Mound location. [ food & service was amazing ] we tried the Plano one out ( since we live in Plano ) & the experience from start to finish was subpar. Upon entering we weren't greeted, we went to an employee at the desk & he looked past us and tried to assist the people walking up BEHIND us? Weird, rude too. We patiently waited til someone wanted to seat us. My toddler was not given a coloring sheet or menu, I figured they didn't have them... but another family came and was seated beside us & their kids had them. So my 5 year old said excuse me sir may I have one.. he ignored her so we had to walk up to the front to ask for one. After that the food came out, never checked on us to see if we had everything or if everything was okay... however before the table beside us received their food they were asked if they were doing okay or needed anything. Maybe next time we will put our blond hair & blue eyes on for better service & maybe then our potatoes won't be half burnt & my husbands omelet would be made to order :) maybe then read more

I have had two experiences at Le Peep in the last month. The first one was so delicious, that I had to go back for a takeout breakfast today. The first visit was dine-in, and there was about a 20 minute wait, they were very busy on a Sunday (about 10am). The service was pretty slow, I guess because they were busy, but our server was friendly and accurate. I ordered the Country Cool breakfast, which was on the menu that was on the window at the front door, but apparently it's no longer on the regular menu. They made it for me anyway, and it was fantastic. It's basically a scramble with ham, cream cheese and chives with a hollandaise sauce. DELICIOUS. It came with potatoes, which were slightly undercooked during both visits. The wheat bread is some of the best I have ever had, Cafe Brazil needs to take notes (their bread options taste awful). After remembering what a pleasant time we had here the first time, my family wanted to try this place out again. I remember seeing this restaurant over and over again on Groupon but now I see why. The menu looks good but the food just isn't sadly. Portion sizes are small for the price, and the quality of the food is lacking. Everything was bland, and eggs were overcooked. My sister ordered a dish where she asked for chicken on the side and there was still chicken in her food (she's a vegetarian). wow, how does one mess up a call in order? especially an easy one. i called 1st to get a fax machine, then i called again and had a young man take my order (after he had to find some paper)...i ordered 2 lumberjacks (2 pancakes, 2 sausage, 2 eggs and potatoes) the exact same way for both orders. i arrive at Le Peep to find out that they only made 1 of my orders and, on the ticked, only processed one order. i was told by a young guy that i could either wait for another order or only pay for 1. needless to say i paid for one and left. 2 stars because the food smells good. most likely wont be back as the experience was empty. read more

Used to be tastier but with the harder economic times, I think they've started replacing some of the ingredients with cheaper bulk ones. Orange juice, etc. Still excellent breakfast food just not quite the supreme experience it used to be. Banana walnut pancakes are a must. read more

This location is always very consistent. We prefer this one over the location that's closer to us. They have gluten free pancakes, toast and English muffins- so happy these options are provided!!! Food was mediocre at best and service was S-L-O-W. Ordered kids meals for 2 little ones and they came out at the same time as the adult food. Usually restaurants will bring out the kids meals first. This place is located at Midway and Parker took me forever to find. It's nice and clean inside. Our waiter name was Amanda and she was really good. I had a groupon so that is what tempted me to go. I ordered a egg Benedict Omelet with chicken, broccoli, mushrooms and topped with hollendaise sauce. It was ok it came with potatoes and a English muffin. The English muffin was ok. My friend ordered the chicken fried steak and she said it had veins in it. Not quite sure what that means. I would not rush back to this place no time soon. Good breakfast/brunch place with good and fast service. I like to go to this place on the weekends when I'm feeling breakfast, but don't want to make it myself. Pancakes and most breakfast dishes can be made at home - but they are reasonably priced and fast so it's a good place for a quick fix. The dish I do like that I wouldn't take the time to make is the breakfast burrito with the green chile pork. Super tasty and very filling that can fill 1 hungry person or 2 regular eaters. Since their last store in Frisco being a complete catastrophe (I.e the kitchen being so filthy that people got food poisoning, one person being my mother) and the store being shut down as a result I admit that I was very skeptical of coming to their location here in Plano. But of course their menu is full of comfort food and seems very inviting. I've been to this location now a few times and have been satisfied after each visit. The food appears neat and clean, the staff is pleasant and attentive. The hostess had been seating people by parties and not by time of arrival though, even with tables available for the appropriate party number- not really sure what that was about. She even wandered around the store talking to other staff members while laughing and having a full lobby packed. Several parties left as a result and I can understand why. read more

Great food as always. They need to have a more orderly check in and check out process though. There is one desk to pay your bill or to put your name on the list for a table. I saw about 8 people walk in and walk out because there were half a dozen people waiting to pay their bill so the prospective patrons thought that was the line to check in. I don't know why they just don't have the waitresses collect and process payment. Seems like it would go a lot smoother. Anyway, you cannot go wrong eating breakfast here. First experience at Le Peep. Service was good. Very friendly and polite. The food, however, was a little underwhelming. I automatically deducted a star solely based on the coffee. You can't be a breakfast/brunch place and not have good coffee. It was a dark roast that tasted like it had been sitting for quite some time. I ordered the Country Benedict. Hash browns, covered in grilled onions, diced country ham, poached eggs, and hollandaise sauce. It was decent. I also ordered a side of pancakes. No bueno.
