FYI, This place is not socially distancing. Seating is not six feet apart and they were sitting all tables. There was a gentleman working in the kitchen not wearing a mask. Umm wow. Where do I start? The teenage diva and I decided to venture out from our usual breakfast places to try something new. We were so glad we did. We were pleasantly surprised we only had to wait about 5 minutes for a table on a Saturday morning. Huge bonus compared to some of the regular spots that always have a 20 minute wait on the weekends. We had coffee...very rich and fresh. We had a few cups actually- not gonna lie. The teenage diva ordered the St Benedict Omelette - I had a couple bites of it and anything that amazing has got to be one of the seven deadly sins. Seriously- cream cheese and hollandaise? Shut the front door. I decided to be healthy- a decision I was instantly regretting when the teenagers plate of creamy Heaven arrived. But thankfully my Colorado omelette was incredibly tasty and I regretted nothing after my first bite. All the fresh veggies and smoked turkey was scrumptious. And even the potatoes were yummy. I can't wait back to come back and try more of their dishes! They had some amazing waffles and creeps that looked incredible- and the guy next to us ordered some colossal breakfast burrito. I loved this place! My main suggestion is to call ahead and be put on the waiting list so you can combat the crowd and be closer to a table when you arrive. We went here after a 5k with some friends and when I ordered the hazelnut coffee I didn't just get a single cup, I got a whole little carafe which meant I could refill to my heart's content. The hazelnut coffee was DELICIOUS and makes me wish I had seen if they sold the beans because it was just that tasty. Their peasant potatoes are delicious, especially if you ask for them to be covered in cheese (did I mention I ran a 5k that morning?). Ha! I also had eggs and sourdough toast with hashbrowns and all of it tasted homemade and amazing. While I can barely remember what my friends ate because I was starving and entering a food coma of breakfast yumminess, they loved it too. Service is a little slow, but I do think that its because they are understaffed and this place seems to always be packed. I have been looking forward to a visit to le peep for a while, every time I have tried to come it had been packed (mothers day was the most recent attempt, that was completely understandable everywhere was packed). A friend and I had a walk at Arbor Hills and decided to come by for a quick lunch. There were very few customers in the location and maybe because it was due to the time of day 12:45pm and there is a larger breakfast selection than lunch. I used to come here every Sat morning with friends but that was over 6 years ago. We seemed to have a few waiters or maybe they were just all helping. My friend and I chose to have water only and then before our meal arrived the waiter took the water pitcher away, I though maybe he was filling it but no...we had to ask for another one. My friend ordered her meal and asked what was in the salad and he said it is a typical side and started naming the dressings. Maybe the questions wasn't understood??? My meal came out and the waiter stated the English muffin would be out shortly and it never arrived. I would probably try it one more time. Maybe an off day. read more

This was one of our favorite breakfast spots for a long time. After today we are not coming back. The server messed up our order and one of our daughters had to wait for her meal, the same kid ordered a hot chocolate and the foam cup was so full it spilled and it was impossible to hold the cup without getting the chocolate all over your hands. The sever spilled some of the same chocolate on table and she just threw me some napkins for me to clean the table. I was a little hesitant to come here. My boyfriend asked me several times before I finally agreed because I had seen he other reviews. Once we walked in, my mind was immediately changed. Everyone was treated like family and we were seated within minutes. The staff is SO friendly! They have a great menu with tons of options. They put the calories on the menu with a healthy section as well, which I loved! Our food came out pretty quick and it was SO good! It was the best omelette I've ever had! The potatoes weren't as good as I was hoping for and the waffle was a little over cooked, but everything was still delicious! This is a great little Americana diner! On sunday me and my boyfriend went to le peep location in plano, it was crowded but we only had to wait for about 7 minutes for a table. The atmosphere was nice very familiar and cozy, place was clean and service was okay, not great cause we had to ask for the refills and my boyfriend asked for splenda and he never got it. I ordered benedict eggs and my boyfriend egg white something (I forgot the name) my boyfriend loved his choice but me not so much, the eggs were okay but hollandaise sauce wasn't good in my opinion it was too heavy and thick, but overall we had a good experience and food was good (not great) and service was decent for one guy serving so many people, so I would recommend this place, is just breakfast/brunch menu tho. read more

I've been meeting with a group Friday mornings for the last three weeks and so far have very much enjoyed the food and service. It seems they have a perpetual special on the 2/2/2 plate - two pancakes or french toast, two eggs and two sausage or bacon. The cost is right around $6, which is a great deal compared to some of the other breakfast items on the menu. The food is quite good - the pancakes are good sized, light and fluffy, the eggs are, well, eggs, and the sausage patties are much larger than some at competing restaurants. Really not impressed with this place. I went in on a weekday for brunch. The place was not at all busy but the service was glacial. I had to hunt someone down at the front in order to be seated, flag another waitress to place my order, and stand at the counter in order to check out (she hadn't even brought the check to my table but after waiting for an extraordinarily long time, I decided to go up to the front without it). The waitress was clearly miserable with her job and couldn't stand being there, much less attending to me. The food was mediocre. I ordered the waffle and bacon with coffee. The coffee was pretty terrible, and the waffle and bacon were just ok. Not at all the yummy breakfast I had been looking for. I arrived at Le Peep at 1:20 (they close at 2:00). I placed my order, with two special requests, and when the food was dropped off I realized neither of the requests had been made. My waiter never returned to check on the food or refill my beverage; I assume he was in the back cleaning up so he could leave. I had to walk up to the cashier desk to get my check. When I was 8, I learned to make pancakes on my own. I am sure that I did not measure accurately and the resulting dish was an abomination. However, as bad as that first attempt at flapjack creation was, it certainly was not as flavorless and disappointing as the blueberry version that I had at Le Peep. Le Peep had been a long time fav of mine but the two locations i frequented the most both closed. It's been several years now since i have eaten there. I ordered a bacon cheese burger, paid a premium price, and would have been better served to have gone to McDonalds. To me that says it all. My advice is to stick with the breakfast menu. read more

Not sure why there is such bad reviews of this place! We went with a groupon, didnt know what to expect, but we didnt judge a place by their yelp score, thats for sure. Ordered whole wheat pancakes. The pancakes were bitter so they offered to replace my item with someone else, so I ordered the white lighting. After that, they not only replaced my meal but they offered me free whole wheat pancakes for my next visit, so that I can try them again. I also love that they keep a container of water by the table. Most places really suck at refilling water - its my biggest pet peeve, but here, we dont have that issue at all. Will definately be back! read more

This is going to sound awful, but I've entirely forgotten the name of the skillet that I ordered. Whatever it was, I ordered it because it sounded spicy. Spicy sausage, jalapenos, green chilis, salsa, etc. It was a hearty portion with potatoes and two eggs on top, and it ran me under $10. Done. Star Granted. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? So remember how I ordered it because it sounded spicy? It wasn't, and frankly, it was't very good. You can't botch eggs, but between the standard potatoes, mediocre salsa, and overall lack of good blend between the brisket and the cheese to top it all off, I just wasn't impressed. I pretty rarely withhold both stars here, but the situation spread to the dish of my date, whose blueberry pancakes, while large, didn't impress. No Stars Granted. Eggs seemed like a scarce portion although fluffy, had no flavor and the potatoes I thought were bland and soggy. Another few minutes and they might have tasted better. Overall a mediocre experience. Come here on a Sunday and it was packed. Most of the patrons were church goers, seniors, or people who tend to wake up late on the weekends. I came to eat brunch by myself and was told the wait would be 5 minutes. I usually don't keep track of how long I was waiting, but I think I was seated a little bit after the stated time which is fine. When you're seated, you have a carafe of water and two glasses and two mugs which is very convenient. My waiter asked me if I wanted anything other than water to drink. I asked for a tall orange. (Orange juice came in small, tall, half a liter, and a liter) I ordered the Benedict omelette and a cup of chicken tortilla soup. The orange juice still hadn't come so I assumed it was going to come out with my meal. My meal came out and everything looked appetizing. Orange juice never came, sadly. Guessing he was busy with the other customers that he forgot my orange juice. Didn't bother to say anything because I didn't want it anymore. The omelette had chicken, mushrooms, broccoli, and cream cheese topped with hollandaise sauce, a tomato slice and sour cream. I took off the tomato slice and sour cream (or cream cheese. I wasn't really sure) because I don't like sour cream and if it was extra cream cheese, I didn't want to eat a lot of dairy. The chicken in the omelette were little tiny squares. Think of the chicken square Cici's pizza uses in their pizza and soup. That was disappointing. The broccoli tasted like frozen ones you could buy at a store. And I thought there was too much cream cheese in the omelette because every time I would cut a piece of the omelette with my fork, cream cheese would squeeze out. The potatoes that came with the omelette didn't make it any better. I tasted no flavor whatsoever. The chicken tortilla soup was probably the only tasty thing I had and even that was lacking flavor(s) and spice(s). Soup had the tiny chicken squares, tortilla strips chips, cheese, and avocado. I finished my soup, but left a couple of pieces of potatoes and a fourth of my omelette on my plate. Got my check and fortunately I was not charged with the orange juice. Overall, my meal was $14. It's not that bad, but I could've gone somewhere else and paid the same price for better food. I'd probably come again to try the pancakes, but maybe steer away from the omelettes. read more
