We had such a pleasant experience here. First, there was no queueing; we just headed in and found a table, then scanned the QR code. Once we finished perusing the key, we ordered right on the website and paid via credit card. FYI, no Apple Pay! I had to input my card number, which wasn't on me, so someone else in the party had to pay for me The food came out reasonably quickly and we appreciated being able to sit instead of standing around waiting for food. The portions were pretty big for a theme park, came out piping hot, and was tasty to boot. I had the goulash and it was delightful. The schnitzel was also really good, and the shaved beef sandwich was piled with meat. The desserts were equally big, but sweeter than we like. The ambiance was pretty nice, but generic, so don't expect HP stuff lying around.

Came here for an early dinner on Sunday, ordered via the QR code/app. We got 2 entrees (Jägerschnitzel, Warm Shaved Beef Sandwich with side of salad), 1 drink (vegan butterbeer - has coconut cream on top instead) and dessert (vegan baklava with no honey and has coconut cream - best part of meal). We paid $56 for the above. Food came out very quickly, staff was quick to clean inside. The inside is themed like a German style old tavern/bar, unfortunately none of the paintings were moving. Other than the entryway, nothing else in the eating area was Harry Potter themed.

Everywhere in Epic universe has pretty good ambiance and service where the restaurants feel like a place in the Harry Potter world along with the serving staff. Allergen staff are easily accessible too. Mobile order, find a free table to scan, wait for them to bring you food. Easy! The food itself is quite hearty and delicious. The crepes were much better than we expected and there was enough variety that everyone in our family had something they enjoyed. This restaurants is probably easier to find a table and get quicker service since it is tucked away in a corner instead of being right at the Harry Potter world entrance. It is still very conveniently next to restrooms too.

We were able to walk in here around lunchtime, sit down at a table, and order from the QR code fairly easily. The decor, and feel of the restaurant is fun, and in theme for this part of the epic universe. I ordered the giggle water to drink - it's a elderflower prosecco spritz, that was tasty, but basically a half pour in the glass, and for the price, isn't worth it. My husband ordered the Alchemist Platter, because he was excited to see there were pierogies as part of it. This platter came with smoked sausage, potato & cheese pierogies, marinated beets, pickled egg, caramelized onions, warm pretzel, German mustard and cheese fondue. I think we were both perplexed by the pierogies - they were completely dry, and not overly flavorful. Typically, pierogies are browned in a pan with onions, and butter, and are pretty flavorful; these fell short, and just looked sad. He noted the rest of the platter was good, but not over the top. I had the Jägerschnitzel - a crispy pork cutlet, brown mushroom gravy, and tavern fries. The mushroom gravy was very tasty/had some good depth, and the pork cutlet was good, and surprisingly not overly salty, and cooked appropriately/was still a little juicy. Overall, a decent lunch, but not overly special.

Le Gobelet Noir is a hidden restaurant within the Ministry of Magic Harry Potter Universe at Epic Universe. And when I say hidden, I mean we walked around for a good 7-8 minutes at first looking around for it, before realizing you walk through an obscure hallway to a little back area, and there it is. Once you find it, there are workers posted outside to guide you along as again, the chamber you walk into has no markings on where to go and there are 2 hallways to choose from. The left takes you to the pickup/ to-go spot and bar, the right will take you into the dining hall. I was surprised by how big the dining area actually is. There's 3-4 big rooms with plenty of seating. If you need a break from the heat there's is plenty of AC in here and it's comfortable. The menu offerings are heavier food but it was good- I loved the beef goulash and it did not last long. They had a version of chicken noodle soup with a dumpling in it and it was decent, very simple but enjoyable. We also tried the baklava as dessert and it was tasty but definitely not the flaky, pistachio and honey flavored traditional baklava, so it's okay as long as you're not expecting that. Everything here is online ordering through the app- you either order to-go, or sit at a table and order on the app and note your table number on there.

The food felt elevated for a theme park. Ordering via the table's QR code was easy, especially to add the allergy request. A team member quickly came out to go over options and set expectations on wait times since I selected coq au vin. My gf friend had the shaved beef on gf bread with fries and they warned us of the cross contamination of the fries, which was okay for her. She was very happy with the bread texture and that it was buttered and toasted too. My coq au vin was very good and tender. The sauce seemed to be either skipped completely or extremely light but had very nice flavor regardless. The pommes puree was decent and I would definitely order it again. The service was pretty quick and friendly. Ambiance was what you'd expect for a theme park.

Epic Place for grub! The ambience was great! If you go when they open you will have the place to yourself.. The portions were bigger than expected (same goes with the flavors)

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem at Epic Universe! It's tucked away inside an alleyway in the Ministry of Magic section of the park and is the coziest spot by far from the hustle and bustle of surrounding areas. Once inside, you can order drinks at the counter, or just take a seat in the one of 5 different themed dining rooms. The lighting is very dark and eerie and adds to the wizarding vibe. I loved how spacious it was inside and you can take any table you'd like and just order from the QR code and your order is brought right to you, and quickly as well. The A/C inside is also a huge welcome feature that helps with the heat of the summer big time. I ordered the hot shaved beef sandwich with fries along with a cold Butterbeer. The sandwich had on it Shaved corned beef, butterkäse, German mustard, hearty multi-grain bread, with fries. It came super quick to my table and I couldn't wait to eat it! It was something I saw from some content before going to the park so I knew this was a must try and let's say it did not disappoint!! I thought the sandwich for the price along with the fries was a fantastic deal! This is the price you'd pay at a normal restaurant not in a theme park so to get this quality here was fantastic. The Butterbeer was also good. I am not the biggest fan of the flavor but I wanted to try it when in the wizarding world. This restaurant is also a great spot to relax in while waiting out the rainstorms that are common certain times of the year. I was able to order, eat, enjoy the drink and take a little time to plan out the rest of my park day when inside. I definitely recommend if you are debating what and where to eat when at epic universe! It was delicious and the decor inside really adds a lot to the experience as well.

Excellent food and excellent service. Totally different than the Harry Potter at Universal/islands of adventure. The food is very good. The fries are excellent, and the pastrami sandwich was really really well done. The lavender lemonade is really good as well. The staff are very friendly and helpful.

However, it is quite fun, when we got there on a Saturday night, they were having a Taylor Swift look alike performance. I absolutely loved it. It turned out it was happening every hour so we were able to watch her perform twice. They also had someone selling jewelry and an artist painting, overall it is such a fun vibe. If you want a standard table, you need to make a reservation, I made a reservation like 15 minutes before and they only had outdoor seating and high tops available. We chose a high top and it was fine. They do have a kids menu so my son was able to order a cheese pizza with a side of fries and the other one ordered a chicken quesadilla with a side of fruit. On the kids menu it says cheese quesadilla but he really wanted chicken, I was surprised the chicken was a bit spicy. He ate a couple bites and then asked for his own cheese pizza after seeing his brothers. All the plates are meant to be shared so they come out whenever they're ready. My older son's cheese pizza came out immediately and then my younger son's chicken quesadilla came out after all our food had been delivered. I think this is what made him want a cheese pizza because he didn't have his own meal for majority of the time we were eating. When we finally ordered his cheese pizza it then took a long time to come out. I'm guessing it's because it's woodfired and his pizza was behind a ton of other pizzas whereas with my older son we must've ordered at a good time. My absolute favorite dish was the marinated cucumbers. It was a light and delicious. It reminds me of what I find at a Japanese restaurant. I also got the butter chicken, it was OK. I didn't find the chicken super tender so I would skip it next time. We also got the maple glazed chicken wings. I found the breading to be overly salty. I ended up taking off all of the breading and my younger son ate a ton of the chicken. I would skip it next time. We got the steak skewers, which were pretty delicious. Again didn't love it so probably would get something else next time. My husband did not like his ribs so he definitely should skip that next time. So overall, the food was OK, but my kids absolutely destroyed their pizza and I love the atmosphere, which is why I'm giving this place four stars. I see that it has great potential. If parking is a problem, I recommend parking at icon park and walking because it's about five minutes away. Our server was super nice, she was a bit slow, but she also had a giant table next to us, which could've contributed to that. I would definitely come back. I enjoyed our experience here.

This experience was such a great experience because you don't even have to drink beer in order to have a great time. They offer wine selections, sangrias and Prosecco etc with an additional up charge. I felt that it was worth it since me and my boyfriend do not drink beer. When we first walked in we had to call for the host to unlock the door for our apartment which makes it more tailored to people who set reservations in advance. You do pay for it advance as well so just be advised when booked. I was charged the add on after the appointment which was the wine. You are provided with towels, glasses , Robes before entering the private room. You have a locker with the key to lock your items like purses, etc. you are allowed to take your phones in the room which was nice if you wanted to capture the experience . When you walk in the room, there's a sauna, tub and a hay bed. It is recommended to use the tub first to bathe in (ingredients to make beer not actual beer) for 30 mins. The sauna for 15 mins and the hay bed for another 15mins: the host explains all of this before your timer starts in the room. There is a cone that turns from green to red to keep track of your time when you are inside the room which I love that so we don't have to keep checking our phone every minute to keep track. You only get 60 mins but tbh it's worth it. We had such a great time doing this and very different from a normal spa but worth every penny. We were able to get as much wine as we wanted with the purchase and we mixed it with the sangria for it be stronger. When the time is up you just come out and there are available items to purchase like soaps, lotions, etc. which was also a nice touch as well. We will definitely be back because this was such a special moment to be able to relax and unwind with how busy our lives has been. Thank you beer spa for the amazing experience.
