This was a nice little place to grab a snack/lunch. There was a long line when we got there but it didn't take too long to get through it. The lady who gave us our order was friendly. We only tried an order of beef pasty, more of a snack unless you order a lot, but we were only looking to try them. The pasties were good, nice and flaky. We didn't try the drinks but maybe next time.

I got the beef pasties at the hopping pot. They were really good, just a bit salty. I suppose they want you to buy a drink with it. It's located in Harry Potter World so it is highly themed which was nice! There was quite a line but it went quickly and the service was polite. I would definitely get them again but order more and call it lunch haha.

Enjoying a frosty wizards Brew dark ale. It's lighter and bubblier than it looks. Very tasty

Any place that has butterbeer is a good place for me! We were craving this every time treat we have in the Wizarding World. What got our attention though was that they also have a good selection of brews. I was wondering what the abvs were on each one so I looked it up. Here they are! Wizard's Brew: 6.8% ABV Dragon Scale: 4.5% ABV Dark Forest Ale: 4.3% ABV Daisyfoot Ale: 3.8% ABV Quick service place. I gotta say the Wizards brew was fantastic. It's a dark ale but it's not heavy like a stout. Nice amount of strength. Surprisingly refreshing. Would brew again!

A trip to Universal is not complete without some kind of butterbeer snack or drink, we absolutely love the frozen version of the butterbeer year round. It's sweet, it's refreshing and surrounded by the magical atmosphere, there's nothing better! The queue can sometimes get a little long, but because it is just drinks at this location it goes fairly quickly. The only time we don't get the frozen butterbeer is when it's cold and we flip to the hot butterbeer, which is criminally underrated.

I love this place. They have a big variety besides the butter beer (which is my favorite). The ambiance here can't be better. It just takes you to the Wizarding World. And the staff is always quick and helpful. This time, I tried the Fishy Green Ale. It was surprisingly good! The mint taste and the blueberry fish eggs made it a fun drink.

We came to Universal Studios Diagon Alley for a ride and a frozen Butterbeer, which was great, but they had a new beer selection that enticed us. We ended up loving the Wizard's Brew even more. It's a strong, dark ale that's actually bubbly, and refreshing in spite of how dark it looks...it had me wanting more. About 6.8 %ABV. Very good. It's inside Diagon Alley so it's all very shaded and good to get out of the hot Florida sun. The lines move fast, it's a stand in line kind of place, grab and go, and with tables outside. Good stuff.

The drinks are delicious! Looks like they maybe previously served food at this spot, but now it's just drinks. Mostly non-alcoholic Harry Potter themed drinks and a few beers. I tried the Fizzy Orange Juice (very slightly carbonated orange drink with cinnamon and maybe some other spices!) which was wonderful! I think this is the only drink with a fun rim of sticky sugary cinnamon, and a whole orange wheel garnish. Perfectly refreshing. As of October 2023, the drink (and I think the rest of the non alcoholic drinks as well) was $5.50. Not bad! Seems like The Hopping Pot tends to always have a line but it moves quickly, we were in and out in about 10 minutes.

    Brianne C.

We stopped by the Hopping Pot to cool down and try each of the non-alcoholic specialty drinks (besides butterbeer which we had already tried elsewhere). The line wasn't very long and moved quickly. Each drink was $5.50 which didn't seem outrageous and we all thought was worth it. They came in the plastic cups that can be washed out and taken home. We tried: Otter's Fizzy Orange Juice (very nice orange flavor with a hint of cinnamon, we all liked it), Tongue Tying Lemon Squash (seemed like just a good lemonade), Peachtree Fizzing Tea (similar to a peach iced tea but lighter on the tea flavor), and Fishy Green Ale (the group's least favorite - minty and the popping blueberry balls were fun).

Interesting flavors but the Fishy Green Ale was definitely slimy and fishy. The butterbeer ice cream was overly sweet. Worth the try and good for a refreshment on a hot day but I wouldn't go back for the drink or ice cream. There's only outdoor seating so if you're looking for somewhere with AC, this isn't the place.

Butter beer ice cream and frozen butter beer were delicious! I didn't know they have the ice cream version and it was so good!

Long lines all the time but great drinks! Even has a spot for the interactive wands when you're waiting. We made several trips to spot.

After traveling from Hogsmead to Diagon Alley, we worked up a thirst for something stronger than a butterbeer. The Hopping Spot offers some delicious alternatives for wizards over 21. You can enjoy a Wizards Brew, Dragon Scale, Fire Whiskey, and a few other muggle beers. I opted for the Dragon Scale red ale. Unfortunately, all of the tables were taken so we enjoyed our beers near the Knight Bus stop.

A quick and easy way to get your butter beer fix, this location is for beverages and butter beer ice cream only. The line is usually short and prices are the same as other spots in The Wizarding World. Located close to the stage in Diagon Alley, this is a quick serve, outside stop off. The menu is posted to the right of the register base. They offer up a couple of on tap beers, Frozen butter beer and butter beer ice cream. The frozen butter beer is a personal fave but the hubs loved the ice cream. He said he perfect that one. Overall: A Quick, easy and short line! Get your butter beer here.

As a loyal fan of Orlando's local brewery scene (shoutout to my neighborhood favorites Tactical and Ten10), I don't venture far from my comfort zone. But every now and then, I'll travel a daring five miles for a place that feels like it was plucked straight out of the Pacific Northwest and this is that place. The beer? Amazing. The staff? Incredible. The space? Open, welcoming, and plenty of seating to settle in for a while. Now let's talk about the only adventure here: parking. The immediate lot is small and can feel like you're competing in the Orlando Parking Olympics. But there's additional parking across the street to the left near some office buildings. Finding parking in Orlando sometimes feels as hard as snagging a spot in NYC, but trust me, it's worth the effort. They're constantly brewing something new okay, maybe not every single week, but it sure feels like it and somehow it's always excellent. There's always something fresh and creative on tap. So yes, I absolutely recommend this place. If you can park, come on in. You won't regret it.

We ordered directly at the bar, and tried their moonshine iced lemonade tea. For 8 bucks, it was a refreshing drink, and the alcohol lingered lightly. I was surprised they allowed outside food, but they have a partnership with the bbq restaurant next door. So I got a pulled pork sandwich with bbq beans as side, and banana pudding (about 18 dollars total for all). The sandwich was fair with ample amount of pork, but could have been a bit more flavorful. Thankfully the bbq sauce on the side helped. The pork was tender enough. The bbq definitely helped the beans to be more enjoyable. It only it had a bit more kick. The banana pudding tasted like Publix pudding, and looked to be missing actual bananas. It has wafers instead. Though, I still enjoyed it and can't complain when it was under 4 bucks. The tables were sit yourself, and outdoor seating was available as well. After you order your food the drinks, and pay at the bar, they will deliver it directly to you. It was quiet when I went on a Friday, but there was a live band playing Caribbean music. Dogs are allowed here, and the dogs people bring can be pretty big. While the food was just above average, the drinks are still very good. Since the food is from their partner restaurant, I am still giving them 5 stars because of their great and reasonably priced drinks in a social and fun atmosphere. The service was very friendly and helpful too. Last time I visited, they had the mechanical bull riding contest, and I will definitely do that if they ever have that again. It is still a great place to have drinks with your friends and family. Overall: A-
