Tried Le Dessert Lab for dessert and it was great! The store is clean and the staff make each order quickly and with care. There are lots of cute photo op areas in the shop. I got the Taro and coconut latte with mango, and it was well balanced. I wish there was more mango, as it had barely any, but when it was sipped, it made the drink even better. I want to come back and try more options.
Came here on a Saturday afternoon and there was a small line that formed behind two kiosks. We quickly ordered and got a mango pomelo sago 50%, ube latte with mango, and avocado smoothie. It's a pink vibe inside with claw machines against the window, so it makes for a pretty photogenic cafe. I got the mango pomelo sago half sweet but it was still quite sweet .
The drinks are good and consistent each time and some of their desserts are really good. They do have some hot snacks (fries, popcorn chicken, calimari, etc) but I don't think they're cooked here. Personally, I would just avoid ordering hot food now. I ordered the popcorn chicken and when nothing came after more than 20 minutes of patiently waiting I checked in with the girls behind the counter. They only said "5 more minutes" and then I watched one of them leave and go across the way to the Hot Pot Nation. She returned empty handed, gave a glance my way, and went back behind the counter quickly. I may have been more forgiving had she just said they had forgotten about my order... Anyway another 10 minutes went by and I saw the same gal leave again. She returned with a brown bag and -oh hey! It's the popcorn chicken! It was ok - at least it was hot and fresh - although a little bit on the batter-full side. Unfortunately not really worth the 30+ minute wait. There's really no greeting when you enter from the staff - maybe once in a while there might be a greeting but I actually have not witnessed this during my visits. Usually they are all busy making drinks so it's straight to the iPad (2 stations) to order and then you sit down and wait. Plenty of seating and very cutesy decorations and great photo op areas on far end of room. Although there lacks a welcoming greeting, the staff are usually pretty friendly when I pick up my order. As I mentioned there is alot of seating to choose from, plus there is free wifi. This tiny mall has spotty service for me (like 0.5 bars everywhere) so it's a great place to stop if I am in the area and need to get on wifi.
CUTE CAFÉ WITH BOBA DRINKS AND EATS. AMBIANCE: 5/5 Cute and clean interior. This store is located in the Pacific East Mall, w/ plenty of indoor seating and cute décor and claw toy machines. There are plenty of other stores inside the plaza (such as 99 Ranch, Candy Box, etc.), restaurants (such as Hotpot Nation, Kitchen Asian Pearl Seafood Restaurant, Dumpling Day, Special Noodle, Sichuan Fusion, Kaoru Sushi, etc.), snack spots (such as Happy Lemon, Sheng Kee Bakery, etc.), and Daimo Noodle House plus Tesla Chargers out in the parking lot. SERVICE: 4/5 Ordering is usually quick w/ the option to order at a couple self-service kiosks. This place is usually busy. I've waited up to 30-40 mins before, but I see that the staff try to work as fast as they can to get all the orders out. FOOD: 5/5 Refreshingly good. There are plenty of options for drinks (classic milk teas, specialty drinks, fruit teas, blended drinks) plus toppings, homemade cream mochi, homemade cakes, other desserts, and even snacks. I haven't tried their snack options, but my absolute favorite drinks have been the Mango Pomelo Sago and Avocado Mango Sago. OVERALL: 5/5 Recommend for a good hangout or pickup for drinks and snacks. I always make sure to stop by every time I come to eat or shop in this area, so I sure can't wait to come back and try their other drinks, desserts, and snacks.
I love this little place! Located inside the plaza, they have some of the coolest flavors. My daughter got Jasmine Green Milk Tea with Lychee Jelly, Mango Jelly, Matcha Cream and Sago. The sago is good! It adds texture, like little tapioca. And the ingredients taste fresh I love the qiosk they have to order your drink, it makes ordering a breeze. They are usually busy but make order fast in my experience.
Fine boba shop. Very cute and pink, instagrammable interior. You order off of machines. Lots of seating. They have a lot of claw toy machines. The Thai tea didn't taste like real Thai tea and wasn't good. I ordered 50% sweet but it was still too sweet. They kindly replaced my drink. I ended up with the Jasmine milk tea. Good!
Favorite lowkey tea place in the area. Good selection of flavors & their toppings are nice & fresh. While it seems to be popping now, was one of the first places I've seen with Osmanthus jelly & teas. The grass jelly is always a great texture too. The interior itself is actually kinda cute, if you're into that random asian gram chic aha. Right there inside the Ranch 99 plaza, so plenty of parking. Many tables inside & around if you're tryna chill.
Just very meh. I tried the Taro coconut latte with mango which J thought was a weird mix of flavors. It mainly just tasted like coconut milk, and the soft mango and starchy taro did not go well together. Feel like it was badly executed, but not an unbearable drink. Also tried my brother's milk tea with boba which was better, but nothing special. I do think the desserts here look really great, although very small-portioned and pricy. Service was good. They gave us recommendations and were able to answer all of our questions. Ambiance is so cute!!!! Love the decorations; very picture worthy. Lots of claw machines if you wanna waste some coins and have fun.
The kids were on spring break so we traveled to great wolf water park in Manteca and stopped by the mall for some dinner. Dinner was a bit too early at around 5pm for us so we came here instead. We ordered the brown sugar milk, peach oolong tea & taro milk. Brown sugar was ok but the girls didn't finished. They said its a bit too sweet and the boba was on the softer side which they didn't like. My girls are 4 & 8 years old so understand for them not to be able to finish. 3/5 Peach oolong tea was bad. Tea was bitter like they over steeped. We had peach oolong tea elsewhere before and it has this floral & a hint of sweetness to it but this one is just bitter with ice. Not refreshing at all so I would give this a 1/5. Taro was good. The worker misunderstood and thought I wanted to add sago on my drink but I actually wanted the mango pomelo sago. I thought she heard me saying mango sago but I guess she only heard the sago part but I wasn't being loud and I already ordered the taro so my fault for that. She was super nice & didn't charged me for the sago. The taro was not sweet at all and it was made with real taro puree. Had it with oat milk and it was so good. I would definitely recommend this drink for any dairy or nondairy lovers. 5/5 for this drink! Over all we have this place a 3.5/5 stars
While shopping at Ranch 99 the other day, I saw many customers with boba from Le Dessert Lab. Curious about the shop, I suggested to my cousin that we go there. The boba shop is super cute and spacious! There are plenty of photo ops and aesthetic decor spread throughout, plus claw machines. There's a handful of tables and seats for customers to dine at. Service interaction is practically nonexistent as you order and pay on the tablet and they call your name. Le Dessert Cafe has a variety of drinks from smoothies to milk teas and fruit teas. They also offer snacks and desserts such as cakes and mochi. Dairy alternatives plus ice and sweetness adjustments are available. I ordered a White Peach Oolong Milk Tea with Oat Milk. Even with less ice and sweetness, it was too sweet for me. I couldn't taste the peach unfortunately and the quality of the boba was a weird texture. My cousin seemed to enjoy her drink. On the other hand, their matcha-cream drinks were more enjoyable. There are a couple of boba shops situated on Pacific East Mall, Le Dessert Cafe being one of them. I found their drinks to be a hit or miss and wouldn't seek it out on my own but it was nice to try. Find them towards the back of the mall, there is plenty of free parking in the mall's lot.
This was my first time ever going to this particular tea shop. We always go to happy lemon, but the last couple of times my family and I have gone, we wait 25 minutes and our drinks taste very watered down. So we figured we would try this new dessert lab instead! to my surprise as we walked in there was one line with two touchscreen kiosk where you could order from. There was also some QR code we could order from, but we didn't realize that before we got in line. Lol the line went rather quickly, and they have a menu Along the back wall as well as a menu on the kiosk screen, so it was pretty easy to navigate through the system. I saw three employees working behind the counter, and it seemed like they were incredibly busy!! We got our drinks in about 5 to 10 minutes. I got a passion fruit- green tea with lychee jelly and my boyfriend got a Jazzmynnn green tea with milk and Boba. We both liked our drinks and the four other drinks my nephews and sister-in-law's got were also enjoyable as well. Inside the café it was a little warmer, but we didn't notice it till we got back into the main portion of the mall. Lol well inside the café they had two different walls where people could take pictures of potentially their drinks, or maybe themselves with some wings that look like you were flying as well as a cute Boba pop-up wall with a texture of flowers on the back. Adjacent to the ordering kiosk were a number of $1 games you could play so my niece and nephews were having fun trying to check which game they could actually win at or if anybody left anything behind. Lol that really reminded me of Taiwan since everything is based on gambling there. Lol I will definitely go back again since this place was a lot better and quicker than happy lemon!
It is a goal of mine to try every milk tea spot. EVERY PLACE. So finally I have arrived here to try my beloved drink. There are two kiosks to order food. Easy to maneuver. I ordered a Thai milk tea with boba. Drink was ready within minutes. There were a couple of orders ahead of me too. Lots of places to sit. It's very clean. Price is crazy though. I decided to stop by for some boba after grocery shopping around the area. Inside is super cute and they have a wallflower background for you to take pictures with friends. They have one kiosk for you to order drinks. We ordered an ube latte, strawberry matcha, and fried calamari. Drinks and food were super yummy! Although, food was great, we did not have a pleasant experience with their service. We waited almost 30 minutes for the calamari. We asked and she replied rudely. A few minutes later, she threw a tantrum walking out the work station and basically threw the food on the table. No words exchanged at all and went back to the work area. Not sure if she was having a bad day but that should not be a reason to treat customers like this. read more

Lowkey kicking myself for not sticking with Happy Lemon. The service here could be a bit better. Felt like they literally tossed the straws at my drink when serving. I get y'all in a rush but that felt a little off-putting. The strawberry puree was also leaking from the top. The flavors wasn't what I expected at all. The drink had too much milk. The flavors felt diluted despite mixing it well. The matcha creme wasn't really noticable prior to mixing either. I'd say the place is clean and popular though. They have some spots for your IG shots. read more
I been coming here whenever I am at Pacific East Mall. This place has been around a but longer than Happy Lemon. What I like about Le Dessert is the service I been getting here. They apologize for the long wait if you waited longer than five minutes. They have a self service kiosk to order drink (I don't think Happy Lemon invested in it) I love the wall where you can perhaps take a selfie. It is a nice wall with Le Dessert Lab with a unique design. My drink was made what I wanted it to be. Tasted good! read more
Wanted something warm for my sore throat so I got the Orange passion fruit black tea (warm) with agar boba and 50% sweetness. I love how they have two kiosk machine to order quickly. And while you wait, you get to play on those claw machines they have inside which was newly installed. They always have a super cute setup in the back to take cute pics! read more

Plenty of pretty backdrops which make it an aesthetic place for photos and the like, but a little disappointed when it came to the food. Ordered popcorn chicken and fried lobster balls. Took 40+ minutes and I noticed that they have some partnership with the restaurant across from them (Hotpot Nation) because when there was a doorbell noise, one of the employees walks across and gets the paper bags of food from them. Unfortunately my friend and I didn't taste the popcorn chicken before we left so after we got in the car, we discovered it was calamari instead. It's a cute restaurant that has a decent wide menu, but I wouldn't come back if I was in a crunch for time. Hopefully they figure out a better system for their hot food kitchen orders read more
We decided to visit this place because of the cute interior and desserts. Ordered via the kiosk and the drinks were ready within 3 mins. Before coming in, you'll see a happy lemon, which in hindsight wish we ordered there instead. I ordered the mango milk latte w/ matcha creme..as you can see in my photo it looks quite misleading. I thought there would be way more fresh mango at the bottom. I saw one review picture that looked similar to the store's picture so I'm not sure what happened here. If I knew there would be less mango I would have gotten the mango sago instead. The taste of the drink was also quite mediocre and not worth the $7. The super fruit tea is good and refreshing but I'd recommend ordering 75% sweet. read more

Le Dessert Lab offers a smooth self-service kiosk ordering experience, and our drinks came out quickly. We tried the Strawberry Milk Latte with Matcha Boba and the Cheese Taro Black Sugar Boba--both were rich and flavorful. The bright interior and comfy couches were perfect for a quick recharge while enjoying our refreshing boba. Great spot for a pick-me-up! read more

There's a few different drink places in this little plaza and I decided on this one for the variety and something different. We ordered 2 drinks and some popcorn chicken. The drinks were perfect as ordered and came out quickly. We waited for the popcorn chicken to be done which were piping hot. I added some spicy red pepper powder but wish they had some dipping sauce. I also wish it was cruncher but overall everything was tasty. read more
So many choices of drinks and desserts! Gotta come and try them all. Also, they have really nice backgrounds for photos. Great ambiance with music and lights. You can order from the counter kiosk, but still able to ask question with barista. FYI taro and ube are not interchangeable here. There's a taro drink that I wish was ube since they have an ube coffee, but no can't do :/ read more

This has been my favorite dessert lately and I like to have some on random times of the year. However, so far, I only know one place and it takes a while to get there. Gladly to find a place that serves some of them in a closer area. On the menu there is a dish called dessert hot pot, but this has a specific day of the week to be prepared. One day, when I feel like eating hot pot of sago, tofu, or boba, I would like to try it out. For the drinks, it is refreshing. Also, the drinks cool me down a lot, so one drink gives me chills. I like to give places a try, but I should've listened to my fellow yelpers on this one. The boba shop had a couple of customers when I entered. There's a tablet where you place your order and customize your drinks. There's a $0.40 charge for credit card. We ordered the standard boba milk tea and taro milk tea. Both drinks were ordered with 25% sweetness. Drinks added up to $16 including topping and tip (wow, when did boba get so expensive!). Couple of minutes later, the drinks were ready. The boba milk tea was a bit sweet for my liking. The taro tasted very light, like they put a little powder in water aka it was very diluted. I asked them to add more taro flavor to the drink and the girl was very confused but then attempted to remake it. Although it was better, it still tasted very watery. I tried to give this place a try, but with the new happy lemon that is open around the corner, I'd probably wait in that line to get my boba fix. read more
The interior is very cute! Very nice for photos with friends or drinks. The store is not usually very busy so you can expect to get your drinks fairly quickly. They also serve a variety of specialty drinks and desserts. Aside from the interior, i feel the drinks weren't up to par with what you could get from most places. I ordered a Strawberry latte with matcha creme. While I enjoyed it, it did seem too sweet for my liking and the drink seemed to go out quickly as there was a lot of space filled by matcha creme and by the strawberry puree and agar pearls. The pricing for the items is also pretty steep compared to pricing of these common items at nearby shops. The desserts look very nice and most of them are hand made. It was a nice experience overall and the atmosphere is so nice but the pricing is just something to keep in mind! read more

Cute little boba shop with many photo opportunities, mini claw machines and lots of tables to sit at. They have tap to order screens and a cashier if needed, drinks come out fast. Drinks were good, got a hot Milktea and it kept oddly leaking. Overall it's a nice place to hangout with friends or family. read more
We ordered mango milk latte with matcha crema and the muddy boba milk latte with boba. The mango matcha one is pretty good. Make sure to get it with 25% sugar or ask for no sugar on the notes part of the ipad when you order. I guess I thought the latte would have more than just milk for the muddy boba milk latte? It tasted just like milk with boba. I went up to ask if they can make me a regular milk tea with boba, no sugar added. I returned my drink and they made me the milk tea. The girl I talked to was pretty confused but the guy who worked there understood what I was saying lol. Pretty good. Boba quality is good! It is fresh I think since it is still warm when I got the drink. Mango mochi is good, and it is very soft - imagine a super thin paper layer (like the white rabbit milk candy layer lol). Then, there's whip cream and mango inside. It reminded me more of marshmallow texture. It's not a chewy mochi texture if that's what you are thinking. The music is nice. I need their playlist lol. After eating from a near by restaurant we went here to get drinks. The ordering experience can be tedious as you order the drinks on a screen, you can also do online order in stores to skip the hassle(highly recommend doing this). The aesthetic of this boba place is charming & has a nice welcoming feeling when you enter the store. There also a wall if you want to take cute aestheticly pleasing photos. Stawberry mochi(3pcs) review The stawberry mochi consists of stawberry slices insides filled with whip cream covered in mochi. The mochi is extremely smooth & taste very light. When you bite into the mochi it has a nice creamy texture from the whip cream & the stawberry slices adds a sweet dimension of fruit flavor to it. 5/5 Starry Sky Lemon Spritzer review The aesthetic of this drink may be eye catching but let me just say, this was the nastiest drink I have ever gotten. DON'T GET THIS DRINK. I highly don't recommend getting this drink at all. I actually got a slight stomachache from drinking this. As the drink itself had STRONG carbonation & barely any flavor to it. Even when i mixed it with my friend drink to dilute it, and it still had a strong taste of carbonation, even the add-on boba tasted very carbonated. 1/5 Super fruit tea review My sister got this drink & you can't go wrong with a fruit tea. Strawberry Fruit Tea $6.50 (+ $1 aloe vera): Honestly, not bad! I added aloe vera and the whole drink had the right amount of tea to syrup level. A very refreshing strawberry drink. Rose Lychee Panna Cotta $5.00: terrible. I was so excited for this one because it looked so good. But i felt like I was eating perfume. Strawberry mini cake cup $6: Super good! Moist cake, fresh strawberry. .:: Service / Ambiance / Parking ::. Service was meh. Guy did not crack a smile on his face with 0 customer service attitude. Drink took a while, maybe 12-15 min.
