Ordered their house milk tea (with boba) and added additional toppings. The prices was a bit more appropriate after I realized it already comes with boba by default. The drink did felt a bit watered down though despite ordering no sugar and no ice. Maybe I'm weird like that but I like having a more noticable tea flavor. I like how convenient* the kiosks are for ordering but I'm noticing every boba shops always have this service fee, or some other surcharge, for using the kiosks. Would be nice if that's disclosed upfront... I haven't ordered at the front before but I'd hope no additional fees would be included for that. read more

Craving boba and saw this spot that was fairly new with great reviews. Came to give it a try and went with the standard milk tea with boba. The boba was a great texture and the milk tea wasn't too sweet. Interior of the place is very updated and modern, looks better than most boba spots. I was pleasantly surprised by the color of the matcha. They hand whisk the matcha lattes which is nice. The only complaint I have is the matcha to milk ratio, theres little matcha taste. I would maybe suggest offering extra matcha option or different cup sizing so the milk to matcha ratio is good. I enjoyed their strawberry puree and boba a lot. Oh my I love me some milk tea. After my event and eating some great quesabirria, I was looking for some milk tea with boba. The establishment was small but cute. Bright lights, easy to navigate the menu (on the left) and even some specials advertised by the cashier. Service was great and quick. I was greeted and served immediately. I decided for Thai tea with boba. I think it was a good drink. I didn't adjust the sweetness which can go one way or another with Thai tea. But thankfully the drink wasn't too sweet! Boba wasn't old. I happened to walk past this place in passing and decided to give it a try. I ordered from the kiosk, menu was very simple and not too complex (clear and straightforward). Having had boba drinks from an array of different places I wasn't expecting too highly, but as I drank my drinks each so had me questioning what I'm drinking. I really like this place. I've only had a few of their drinks-- the green thai tea, honeydew milk tea with creama, and the matcha mango were all delicious. You can adjust the sugar and ice to preference. The teas actually taste good and the fruit infusions don't taste artificial or overly syrupy. I don't care for boba as a topping but they have a good variety of toppings AND a nice variety of drink options (and customizable drinks) that make this place exciting. Arguably the one of the best milk tea shops to open in the area that isn't a chain in terms of flavor/quality. Parking is plentiful, it's right by Planet Fitness and Big 5 as well as a handful of other businesses in a quiet corner of the shopping center. Their customer service needs work. Last time I went in the guy at the register was friendly and offered suggestions. Another time i walked in, gone up to the register and was met with an expectant stare and awkward silence, not even so much as a "hello" or "how can I help you" I saw multiple employees with this demeanor with other customers so I know it wasn't just me.... Ambiance also needs improvement. Maybe add softer lighting and music to make the vibe more pleasant. The bright white/blueish overhead lights and silence was off-putting and made half the store feel like a liminal space. I was in the area and wanted to come try this place since I had never before. There was parking right outside and it's located in the back of a strip mall/plaza. I walked in and the cashier greeted me immediately. I saw a photo of green Thai milk tea and was excited to order it. It's something harder to find across all boba shops. I adjusted the ice level to 25% and sugar to 25% as well. The total was $6.75. The order came out pretty fast. The inside is clean but not much in terms of taking photos like backdrops or anything. The Thai green tea was not what I expected. I didn't taste any tea, or the condensed milk. It tasted like water with some slight cream in it. I would not order it again. Located in the Lucky's & Big 5 plaza in Pinole, Qualitea truly lives up to its name. I am very picky on boba because I like strong tea forward, not too sweet, and not too milky. Qualitea hits all of this! I got the Golden Oolong and the Strawberry Matcha both at 50% sweetness and it was perfect for me. Pearls were cooked to perfection which is very crucial. Came in 5 mins before closing and even so service was fast and friendly. The inside is very clean but no tables or anything so this isn't a chilling spot just grab your drinks and go. Great customer service and most definitely high quality drinks. If you're used to boba drinks from the more popular chains, they you need to raise your standards and order Qualitea whenever possible. All the ingredients are fresh and refreshing. My go-to is the virgin lychee mojito, light ice. Sometimes I add crystal boba or lychee popping boba. Never found this drink anywhere else. The blended drinks are all very good, and they literally scrape the blender and lid to make sure you get every drop in your cup. I love that they try to minimize wasting product. They have a convenient online ordering system if you have the Clover app. If you set up a profile, you can earn points for a free drink. Don't sleep on this small boba shop in the Planet Fitness shopping center. It's definitely the best one in our area! read more

I was visiting my friend in the area to eat some Dim Sum, and after our meal, he told me about a boba shop near his place that he wanted to try. Always eager to check out new places, we decided to give this a shot. Deluxe Punch: Visually, it looked very appealing, so I had to give this one a try. It was quite a fruity drink, seeing all the various fruits they included. From my guess, I had strawberries, watermelon, passion fruit, grape fruit and I think lime. I added strawberry hearts to give it texture. Overall, the drink was alright. Not enough tea, since the addition of the hearts plus the fruits and ice did take quite a bit of volume. Still, the green tea was not too overpowered by all the fruits and still enjoyable. This Qualitea location is in the Pinole Vista Shopping Center, a seemingly busy plaza. Parking may be hit or miss, depending on when you visit. I have been to their SF location as well and do not remembered much about their drinks, so my expectations were not too high. Ordering is through the kiosk or at the front counter with an employee. Service was good - the owner (I presume) was very friendly and welcoming, and he makes sure all of his customers enjoys their drinks, as he offers to remake your drinks. He was also training a new employee at the time, which I honestly did not mind, but he was apologetic towards me, as well as patient towards her. I was setting up for a few quick and simple photos, and he even offered to help me with my photos, but I politely declined because I had my tripod. I noticed he tries to converse with all his customers - he gives drink recommendations and makes sure they are taken care of as well, which is definitely good customer service. I ordered my go to drink - a jasmine milk tea with boba. I ordered my milk tea with 70% sweetness, which I felt was good level of sweetness that was not too overly sweet. Their milk tea has a more stronger tea taste than creaminess to it with a slight bitter aftertaste to it, which I do not prefer. I thought the milk tea itself was decent, but the boba was on the more meltier / softer side. I feel like my milk tea was 3 / 3.5 stars, but overall 4 stars because of the good service, but if I am in the area again and do come back, I would probably try one of their specialty drinks that they are known for instead. read more

We found out that Pinole has a new Boba Tea house so we decided to try them. The place is very clean and the service was excellent. The person behind the counter was very nice and introduced us to their jobs and drinks. She recommended a few and I decided to have their Passion Cooler. It has premium jasmine green tea with kumquat juice, passion fruit juice, lemon, lime, and mint. The drink was prepared with fresh ingredients and you'll notice slices of fresh lime, lemon, and mint. The taste is very refreshing and you'll taste the fresh squeezed juice. You'll also taste the jasmine green tea which was perfectly mixed with the other slices of lemon and lime. I enjoyed this drink and was glad to try it. When I come back, I'll try the other boba drinks on their menu. read more

I just visited this place earlier today and can say it was such a fun place to be at, SUPER CUTE c: place is small inside but i would say really nice for dropping by or just hanging out with a person or two. The service is really good, though it was a bit busy when i went, they were super on top of getting drinks out! The staff is so sweet and always happy making and serving out drinks. I got the rose milk tea both hot and cold. It seemed like the drinks were pretty good but the sweetness level adjustments are a bit off? The regular sweetness is definitely too sweet but the 70% is not sweet enough.
