Went in today looking for some squirtles, and let me tell you, the people here are great ! Everyone there was so kind and helpful. I also had a great time talking with them while I looked through their bulk. At the end of the day I ended up picking up a couple of singles, ( thanks for breaking up that set ), and they gave me a great deal. Really can't wait to go back and get more. I'd definitely suggest stopping by to take a look at what they got, they had a pretty good sized bulk section and had some nice cards on the wall. They also have more than just Pokemon. While I can't speak for myself personally on the boba, however my son had one while he waited for me to go through bulk, and he drank that thing so fast I barely had time to get through the first handful before it was gone so it must be pretty good also. New favorite place to go for boba and more. I usually ask for 30% of sugar and light ice in my boba but forgot to ask for it but still tasted pretty good. Amazing variety of boba topping, it's a little shop so it was a bit of a tight squeeze yet what they had to sell was interesting to see. A lot of Loungefly bags, older toys for collection. But on specific nights there are different games that can be played. My partner and I mainly pay attention to Pokémon and there happens to be a Pokémon trade night on Thursday that we've been really looking forward to! The strawberry shortcake supreme was so good. I added Boba and strawberry hearts to it and it was delicious. All the workers were super nice. It was a good vibe! I was on my way home from the Giants game after taking Bart and my friend and I were craving something refreshing for the drive back. This place popped up and we decided to give it a shot. The decor outside felt very anime-esque and I was correct when I walked inside. They had a few anime stuff for sale as well as pop it figures. The boba tea menu was located at the top of the counter and was a very simple menu to order from. The lady at the counter who helped is was very nice and answered all my questions. Strawberry Green Tea: This was my drink of choice. I included mango Star jelly as a topping. Overall, I found nothing spectacular about the drink. It felt standard compared to other places I have been to. I was trying to find something unique about its, but I could not find it. However, the drink was still refreshing and I quite enjoyed it. Boba & Beyond is located off to the side in the Plaza Sobrante plaza. They may be easily missed at first, since they are located near the corner / edge of the plaza. There is a decent amount of shared parking spots here as well. As I was driving into the plaza, I was thinking about how familiar this plaza looked, and then it hit me because I stopped by here with my mom before when they were Sabai Tea. They may look simple on the exterior, but the interior is filled up with a lot of Funko Pops against the wall, and other cool & interesting collectibles / toys and more. A bit tight and small space, so be careful walking through. No seating anymore because of this, and everything is takeout now. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba, 75% sweetness and less ice. The milk tea has a balance of creaminess and tea taste to it, but it had this strange aftertaste to it that I cannot seem to make out what it is. Sadly, the boba was a bit clumpy and on the tougher side. read more

There is no sign outside, so you can easily miss it if you've never been there before. There are lots of funko pops and other merch displayed throughout the store. Stopped here on Saturday. Didn't know it had changed hands (yes, it has been too long). We really liked the prior place. Gave it a chance. I got a coconut smoothie with lychee jelly. Daughter got strawberry slushie (I think). Both were really good. The guys working were really nice and helpful. Thought it was a little expensive. As many others said, it's also a funko and collectibles store. At first, it was a weird vibe. There are two tables but it says no seating. There was a guy sitting at the tables with a laptop who gave us a weird glare when we walked in. (Owner?). Not sure what that was all about. read more

My boyfriend picked up a couple of slushies for us today and they were both really good! He got me the purple potion #9 which is taro with cheese foam, and he got the honey-what-it-dew for himself, which is honeydew and cheese foam. I thought the taro one was nice and milky and the cheese foam added a richer taste! My boyfriend said the honeydew one reminded him of the Melona popsicles. It was too artificial flavor tasting for me but tasted spot on like Melona. I thought the boba texture was great too. Soft and bouncy and didn't even get hard from the slushy after driving home for 15 minutes. My boyfriend also tried a sample of a secret menu item which was a strawberry banana slushy - he said it was pretty good too. Only complaint overall would be the price is definitely on the higher end for boba drinks - it came out to about $17 for both drinks, but the sizes are at least on the larger side and include cheese foam. We were happy with our order and I know we'll come back! I love seeing all the collectible stuff inside... They just opened a month ago but they're already bringing in a customer base - the girl in front of me stopped by for the second time that day! Classic + fun flavors, great toppings, and a variety of alternative milk options. I had the brown sugar milk tea with boba and house cheese foam and my partner had the taro milk tea with boba - both were fire. They even let us sample their thai iced tea slushy and taro slushy with their cheese foam blended in which we're both very good as well.
