Great experience there so far. My son is into Pokémon and this place has become a place where we can go and check out some content. PRO-TIP: Yelp check-in for a free small or large sticker! Definitely do this! The stickers are those neat ones where the image changes when you or when the sticker moves around! I got a cool Fate Stay/Night sticker here with Saber, Archer, and Lancer! I'm from SoCal, but I love exploring all the local anime shops whenever I get to visit different areas and since I'm planning to once again present my California Anime Eating and Adventures Panel at Fanime, I knew I had to stop by this business! What stood out almost immediately to me was the sense of community that the shop had? There was fan art displayed by customers and visitors, there's even a little shout out board to add your own art (I left mine and was promptly approached online by the Walnut Creek Toucher...I'll try not to thing about it too much), some nooks with tables for the table top/card game individuals, and the shop keeps were very friendly and helpful. All great factors to an anime shop for sure. They have a wide variety of items here ranging from imported Japanese snacks and candies, a large collection of those "moving" stickers (I got a Gojo Satoru and Slowpoke one for my friends), $1 comics, prize figures, bigger scale figures, plushies, graphic novels (manga) and light novels (sold only as box sets), wall scrolls, trading cards, a plethora of blind boxes, Ghibli and Sanrio and other kawaii items, Poke'mon etc. Some neat things I saw if money and the fact that I have limited traveling luggage wasn't an issue as the 3 Egyptian god figures that they had from Yu-Gi-Oh! as well as the COMPLETE set of the Monogatari light novels and Nichijou manga. It's hard to find something like that even second hand at Anime Jungle or if you're scouring online and their prices were super fair too. Alas...maybe one day. Other than that if you're into JJK, My Hero Academia, Dragonball, Naruto, SpyxFamily, Chainsawman, and any of the big popular series ongoing now, they've got you covered, but even someone like me who may not super be into those series found things enjoyable as well. Will definitely share this business with my fellow anime fans and visit again next time I'm up north! read more

Not sure why I am I now finding this place out but it was amazing. The location is at the back of Joan's, it was a bit confusing since I wasn't familiar with the area. But when we were advised to visit, me and my daughter went ASAP. Let me just say that I was overwhelmed.. I wanted everything. I was from one corner to the other, walking deciding which to get, from comics to anime figures, even free naruto cards! The prices are great, and the customer service amazing. Big shout out to Ms, Amy, and Sir Ravin (sorry if I got it wrong), both were accommodating to us. They went above and beyond for us. We didn't know where to start, although it might seem like they have a few selections, I have a feeling this is just a beginning for them. Once the word gets out, a lot more would visit this location. I recommend and invite everyone to come visit, give it a chance just don't buy everything at once and leave some for the rest of us! Never knew I needed this store until today. I had last minute birthday shopping to do and this store had everything an anime, comics, and video game fan would love.
