The folks working there are always above and beyond kind, thoughtful and great at building personal connections within the community. We love coming here! Staff is super friendly and helpful and give great recommendations. The store is very clean and organized, with signs posted to help you find your way. I personally was never interested in comics, but I tagged along with my boyfriend and now I have two current series I'm following! Staff can also help you set up an account with them so you can get alerted about when your order comes in. They sometimes have freebies like posters, and one of the workers helped me find the rest of the comics in a bundle and didn't charge me for the final two comics in that bundle. There's also a bin specifically for bundles, $1 comics, and last week's issues. The walls are also separated by kids, manga, books, board games, comics. I usually get 1-5 comics and rarely spend over $20. They can also let you know if they have the issues you're looking for in the back, and order ones if they're available. I bought my daughter a gift card for Christmas and in February they temporarily closed the doors because of a change in ownership. I was totally bummed because I thought the new owners were not going to honor the gift card. They are open again and the new owners are actually three of the employees who were working for the previous owners AND they honored the gift card. That was so amazing of them. They got customers for life now! They have a great selection of various comics in house and if they don't have it, they can order it for you. The comics are reasonably priced. Ash was the one who assisted us this time. Ash has always been so friendly, knowledgeable, and makes great recommendations. The staff (and new owners) are just so community- oriented when you speak to them. read more

Super modern, very up to date, has stuff for everyone (even me- I'm into like, nonfiction American stuff, not "comic books") The salesperson that was there was incredibly knowledgeable and kind, and the location is really convenient. It was my first time in the store today and I was surprised how the staff was so friendly and knowledgeable about comics- he even recommended more similar/new comics for me, so not only did I leave with a great book but even a better idea of what I could read next as a comic lover! The selection of books was so diverse as well, from DC to Marvel and so many more that I haven't even heard of. They have awesome figurines as well, from star wars to comic icons. My first visit and it will not be my last. One of the things I appreciate the most about Zeppelin is the fact that it's super clean and organized. There's no confusion in what you're looking for. Marvel, DC, Image. I'm a huge Image fan and their selection is great. The person who worked that day was super friendly and gave me some new options based on my interests. I really like how they have bundles of newer comics that were sold as sets. I picked up 5 issue Image comic bundles for 10$ each! I love deals like this. One thing to consider is that There aren't any silver, Bronze Age comics from what I saw. So collectors may want to be aware of this. Zeppelin also carries toys such as Pop dolls. I've been to Zeppelin on multiple occasions and dropped by with the whole family when it opened. Growing up in Vallejo during a time when there were multiple comic shops around, it's nice to have new stores pop up in the area. Both of the owners always greet you. There are some shops where the employees don't even say anything when you walk in, but both of them make you feel welcome as you enter. They moved to this new location I believe sometime last year and it's so much more spacious and open than their first location, which wasn't a bad spot but this one doesn't feel as crowded. They have pretty good selection of current comics and graphic novels and I never go there without picking something up. Even though some shops are bigger and carry a wider variety of items. I always try to go here every couple of months at minimum to support one of the better local businesses. read more

Moved recently to a neighbouring city that doesn't have a comic book shop, so have been visiting nearby shops to "interview" them to be my new local! Have to say that this shop is outstanding with a really friendly owner and shop assistant. We must have talked for close to an hour about comics and related things!. Very warm people and also knowledgeable about comics, and suggested various titles for me to look at. The shop itself is larger than I expected and well organised with the big titles from the main 2, as well as independents. All-in-all, I think I've found my new local comic book shop! This is such a nice store with its modern twist. Traditionally there are stacks of comics and graphic novels throughout a comic book store, but this was spacious and clean. The staff was welcoming and friendly as well. The store doesn't have everything, but they have random treasures like collectable figurines and posters. I also like the hardcover graphic novels, which I barely see in other shops. I didn't see what other comic book stores typically have but was shocked to find graphic novels that are good but are harder to find just anywhere. I don't know if I would go back, as it is out of my way, and deep into town. read more

This fun little comic book store is a bit off the main drag in Benicia, but only by a few blocks. Definitely worth a walk down. What I really enjoyed about Zeppelin was their modern, clean store layout. It made browsing easy and fun to do. There was definitely a boutique type feel which was appealing. There are plenty of comic books to browse with a respectable collection of figures, graphic novels, t-shirts and other small pop culture knick-knacks. The couple that owns the shop were there on the rainy Saturday that I visited. They had an obvious pride in their space and a love of all things comic book/sci-fi related. You got to got to give credit where credit is due, I love that I found this place just by going on a random walk before I get the pain of the dentist. What I like about this spot is that there's enough comics to fulfill every fanboy's need. Very clean place and never felt claustrophobic.
