The atmosphere was open and inviting, and left plenty of room for people to browse. There was a variety of merchandise (key chains, figures, stickers, mystery boxes, and more) from a number of well known and lesser known anime. I purchased a lot of items and felt they were very reasonably priced. The staff were extremely happy and pleasant to be around. This isn't your cheap, rip-off merchandise you see at hobbie and toy stores in the mall. This is quality merchandise, name-brand and brand new.

They've moved around a bit, but Kelly, the owner and his son, Aaron are familiar faces when you walk in. They've got a bunch of loyal customers, myself included, and are super fair with all of their pricing. They host regular magic the gathering tournaments, pre-releases, draft nights, and commander events. It's a small LGS, but just this last Sunday, I participated in the 4th Prerelease event that weekend, in which a good 16+ people showed up to play in. It's across the street from a mini mart and Krispy Krunchy Chicken shop, so lots of food options to just come in and chill and enjoy an afternoon or weekend playing cards or checking out the latest comic runs.

I needed some top loaders for my cards and so I stopped in. Place took me back to days gone by when I walked in. I instantly remembered where there use to be card and comic shop all over towns around the Bay like this one here. There is some real cool stuff in there. Met Ralf the owner. He is a real cool dude and a straight shooter. I really enjoyed talking to him. Down to earth dude that won't BS you. He gave me a really good deal on the top loaders he had. I will be back as I enjoyed my experience here.

Before calling here, multiple comic book stores that I have called in are not familiar with this title, so I made sure to ask. The person from this stores tells me he does not have that, I asked have he heard of it, and was quick;ly given rude answer I just told you. Its very apparent you do know how to run a business nor how to give basic customer service. I was able to get a proper answer from another store in Oakland, although they did not have what I was looking for, I was given a suggestion of what they have. Happy to say, I bought a few issues recommended to me and some. It's that simple dude, not hard, and your welcome. You learn something from me today, although you never deserved it.

They also buy! There's a nicely-stocked kids area, and clean bathrooms as well. Friendly service too. If you're interested in different editions (Easton Press, Illumicrate, FairyLoot, etc.), there's a special section, but sometimes they have them in the regular shelves. While the prices are certainly lower than retail for these editions, they are about on par with what you could find on eBay. Still, it's nice to be able to see and hold the editions first!

Met Kevin, the Owner, who's been in business since the heyday of collecting in the 80's. He was extremely helpful, friendly, and didn't mind taking time to answer questions, which I had plenty of since the collecting industry had changed so much since I stopped. Over the next 3 years I bought numerous hobby products from Kevin. When COVID hit in 2020, the industry went crazy and caused prices to skyrocket. Kevin remained true and offered prices well below what he could of asked for at the time. I asked him about it and he told me he'd seen numerous highs and lows in the industry, and he wanted to take care of his loyal customers who would always come back. I have a great deal of respect for Kevin, and while I have stopped collecting new cards (I just purchase vintage), I still stop by from time-to-time to say hello. He no longer sells sports cards because the distributors got too greedy, and he didn't want to pass those excessive costs to his customers. He still sells comics though, and he is extremely knowledgeable and helpful with anyone who stops by. It's a small shop and if he doesn't have something you're looking for, he has years of connections and will either find a way to get it or point you in the right direction. If you're in the area, stop on by and take a look. You'll feel welcomed and want to come back. Not enough places like this anymore.
