She refused to continue business with me. I went to a seamstress who informed me that the gown was not cut right and couldn't be fixed. I called Bossina Couture and literally begged her to correct her error, she refused. My husband went to the store and offered to pay more for another gown, the owner dismissed him and told him to leave. I paid cash for this gown!!!! This is incredibly frustrating, especially considering the high price of the gown. I expected better customer service and at least the ability to exchange or return an item that was clearly not as ordered. I would not recommend this store to anyone based on my experience. I had no idea what style, what would look good; I'm on the larger side and i thought small shops only catered to smaller girls and were so over priced. I didn't look forward at all... When i arrived there the owner and her mother were so sweet and making me feel so comfortable. The owner asked me what i wanted and i told her I HAD NO IDEA. She looked at me and said ok go in the dressing room. She came in with five dresses. I was very self conscious to get undressed but she made me feel so at ease, talking to me and making me feel i was important. The first dress was the one. She spent 10 minutes tightening it putting on the veil and head peice. She knew i wanted it ... Instead of rushing me, she continued to put on every dress after that. She also completed each look with the veil and head piece. she spent over a hour even letting me try on the first dress again. I told her i wanted it, she said to think about it no need to rush. i was so scared it would cost a lot but i got it for 1,100!!! A dress that looks at least 5 grand. The veil is absolutley gorgeous and breath taking... i have to say i wish i could relive this moment because this fitting made me excited about planning my wedding... if i had a negative experience i don't think i would of went through with the hall and party. I can't thank you guys enough for making my dream come true. Any future events i will go here for my dresses, baby's christenings, future events...

Anna was able to modify the dress to make it look as if it was ordered specifically for my measurements. You couldn't tell any work had been done it. The dress was very intricate in detail with lots and lots of lace. Anna was able to adjust everything needed on the dress so that it was in its place proportional to where it should be on me. During my last fittings, I noticed that I couldn't get my arm high enough for my first dance (this is an off the shoulder dress and those are inherently limited in arm movement because of where the fabric goes around the arm), not only did she alter it to add a bit more fabric that completely matched the dress and allowed me the needed extra movement, Anna did this all in less than 24 hours as I needed the dress by the next day to take back with my to CA where my wedding was. In addition to this, I had brought new shoes to my last fitting, and of course they were a different height than the previous shoes I had used during my fittings. Was this a problem for Anna? Nope! She was able to shorten the dress as well for the next morning. Anna is not only a great seamstress/alterations expert, but also such a pleasure to have done business with! She truly cares about her clients and strives to provide excellent service with every interaction. She also did alterations for my mother's mother of the bride dress. This was a heavily beaded dress which needed to be let out and shortened. The work on this dress was more than my wedding dress I think. You could not tell any work had been done it. Anna even added some sleeves as we needed something to cover my mom's arms for the ceremony. I highly recommend Anna for any alteration work needed. The business establishment is very professional with large mirrors and couches, not a little closet with a small thin mirror. You will truly feel like you are in expert hands, because you are!

I called to see if I could move the time up since my fiancé was going to drive me and he wanted to beat traffic. I spoke to Diane and asked if I could come in for 10am. Keep in mind I didn't know the hours of the place. She automatically said no. There was no explanation but rather a curt no. I asked her why and she told me they don't open until 12pm. It would've been nice if Diane would've led with that. I asked to move the appointment to 12pm and she told me someone took that slot already. Ultimately, my appointment was moved to 1pm. I don't think appointments are honored because there was a group of people there while I was patiently waiting to try on dresses. Automatically Diane gave me a catalog to look at. She turned to the "plus size" section which didn't offer much of a selection. I flipped through the 15 pages or so and I finally found a dress on the last page. I waited 21 mins to be measured by Margaret. She didn't introduce herself but just started measuring me outside the fitting room. Diane then looked at the catalog to see which dress I selected and she told me it doesn't come in my size. I explained to her you don't offer much for curvy women and I was only able to find one dress in the catalog to my liking. Margaret said she can find me similar dresses. I told her that I want a mermaid dress with bling. The first dress I tried on was a no-no. The second dress I instantly fell in love with prior to trying it on. It fit perfectly. Customer service can definitely be improved. Although we were off to a rocky start they redeemed themselves throughout my visits. Ultimately I was blown away with how beautiful I looked with my wedding dress.
