The place is huge. The dresses were beautiful and surprisingly quite affordable. It was well worth the trip from Brooklyn to NJ. The salespeople were all personable, helpful, and polite. My daughter found her dream dress in about an hour. We will definitely be returning with all the single ladies as the occasion arises. I found my wedding dress at Cinderella Bridals last February. Erin, the stylist, was a huge help and a calming influence. I ended up purchasing the first dress I tried on and she helped find the perfect veil to go along with it. In true bridal fashion, I went down a few sizes before the dress came in. Their seamstress was amazing and able to make my dress fit me like a glove. I felt so beautiful at my wedding on Friday and the dress played a huge role. What. A. Dump! Run as far away from this dump as you possibly can. I came here with my two friends to look at bridal gowns. I was "greeted" by my consultant, who didn't give her name but mentioned that the only reason they took me today was because they had a cancellation. Irrelevant to me. I was there already. Moving on to when we tried on dresses - they do not allow you to take photographs. She said, "buy it and take all the photos you want." What would I spend $5,000 without taking a photograph first? Taking photos is relevant and common in today's society. What's better is that she could not produce a reason WHY photos were forbidden. Ridiculous. The showroom and dresses are filthy! Don't expect stark white gowns as samples but here, the seams and boning were black on the gowns. The floor and dressing rooms are also dirty. I'm trying to put all this aside and even though I'm not thrilled about giving this condescending consultant any business, I find one I kind of like and ask to see it with a veil. She reluctantly fetches one and I ask for a belt. "Anything else?!" She says. No, nothing else, I reply. You can keep your filthy, boring, garbage inventory, Cinderella Bridal. I walked into Cinderella's bridals just to start looking and get an idea of what type of wedding dress I would like and would look good on me. The ladies there were very helpful and very excited for me. They pulled dresses and gave me ideas. The very first dress I tried on, ended up being "The Dress". It was different and gorgeous. The detail was unreal. I tried on many dresses but nothing compared to the first one. The dress was reasonably priced. The ladies were so helpful setting up my fittings and accommodating my crazy schedule. The fittings were quick and again, comparably priced to other places. I wish i could give it 0 stars to be honest. I'll start at the beginning..I ordered my dress, and was told to pay for "expedited" shipping to have it here on time..after paying an extra $100, it DID not arrive on time, and the size they ordered was VERY TIGHT on me. After going twice, and being told that alterations would be $800, we tried saying we would take the dress and leave, they ended up doing it for $500, but the woman who owned the place wouldn't come over and talk to me herself about it, she kept sending the seamstress to haggle with us, rather than just handle it herself. She kept walking by and ignoring the issue and had someone else deal with it- highly unprofessional. We decided to get the dress altered there (HUGE MISTAKE) and every time i went to try my dress on it kept bunching in the front. I was very concerned about this, they told me they kept going in and fixing it more but because of the material they couldnt fix it. I left there in tears, and took my dress, I was so upset that it couldnt be fixed, and then the lightbulb went off...What if someone else could fix it, and just not them? I went to another bridal shop, and showed them the work. They said the work was AWFUL, over priced and not done well, the part they said they couldnt fix, was not even attempted to be fixed, they didnt pull out the hem whatsoever, and they also did not fully sew in my bra cups. I visited Cinderella Bridals in July of 2017. I had already been to a few bridal shops and believed I had found my dress, but wanted to shop around to see if I found any better deals. If you're looking for a deal, Cinderella Bridals is not the place. When I began my appointment with my consultant (Liz), I gave her a pretty clear explanation of what I was looking for. I told her the make/model of another dress I was interested in, and told her my price range. She proceeded to tell me that the make/model was discontinued, that the other salon where I had seen that dress had misinformed me about the availability of that said dress. She urged me to forget that dress/salon and instead buy with Cinderella Bridals. Her comment about the other dress being unavailable was a LIE. I believe this was an intentional, underhanded business practice. I called Liz out on her lie immediately, showing her the dress company's website, where the dress I had tried on elsewhere was featured as a new release. She apologized, told me she was confused between two styles, and urged me to continue with my appointment there. I was already feeling a little uncomfortable-- what bridal consultant is unaware of what dresses are familiar? Why had she been so sure that dress was discontinued, only to quickly apologize once I proved that was not the case? Regardless of your consultant, at Cinderella Bridals, you are not allowed to touch dresses yourself or take photographs of yourself in the dresses. The attendant brings the dresses to you. I was very firm on my price range... but Liz did not honor my price range. I eventually tried on a dress I thought was gorgeous (my mother started crying happy tears when she saw me in it). Unfortunately, as it the case at Cinderella Bridals, the tags had all been cut off of the dress or covered, so I didn't realize it was outside of my budget. When I inquired about the price of the dress, I learned it was $800 over my budget. This was too big of a price difference for me to consider. I told Liz to return the dress to the rack. Quite the contrary, inside the dressing room behind the closed door, Liz began to coach me on ways to beg my mother to up the budget. Little did Liz know, I was the one paying for the dress. I could not believe her! Coaching clients into begging their family members to exceed given budgets? I asked her for the make/model of the dress before leaving. I told her I wanted to be able to quickly find the dress during a follow-up appointment. It took a bit of cajoling before she would write down the information for me. I took that information and shopped online. Cinderella Bridals was the most expensive bridal salon in the area by far! Even upscale boutiques in Morristown were selling it for significantly cheaper. I wound up buying the exact same dress for more than $900 cheaper at another bridal salon. I would never recommend Cinderella Bridals to another bride shopping for a gown. Their business practices are shady, and their prices are steep. read more

Do Not Buy here unless you are okay with being scammed. We found the perfect dress and the girl who measured my petite daughter held the measure about 5 inches from her chest. She is a size 0, but they told us she is a size 10. We decided to buy the dress. We had no issues with the help they were very attentive. When we were ordering the dress we said we wanted at least a 3/4 size knowing that should be fine. The ladies at the desk profusely said we were wrong. We said there is no way she is a size 10. They made us sign a waiver, that we agree if the dress is too small, they would not be responsible. We did confidently. We still were uncomfortable with a size 8, but trusted their judgement. The dress arrived and it was huge. It fit 2 1/2 sizes too large. We went back to talk to the owner to reorder the correct size. The owner refused to talk to us. They said it was a final sale. I stated that I think they did it on purpose so that we would have to pay their $500 altering fee. Their response was just silence. We are now having the dress altered elsewhere, and it is costing $475.00 because it is 2 1/2 sizes too big. Not Happy!! read more

My mother and I just went there today to look for mother of the bride dresses. We didnt know we needed an appointment, but were told we could look around. My mother tried on a dress that was very flattering, but needed in a petite size since she is 5'. I had an amazing experience. You do need an Appointment's they really spend quite a bit of time with you. They know their stock, they listen to your wants and go from there. From the second my eight bridesmaids and I walked into Cinderella Bridal's we knew we were in good hands. With eight girls with all different body shapes you can understand the stress that goes into finding the perfect dress for all. However, we were brought many different dresses and helped with knowledge and patience. Unfortunately, the dress we all picked out and paid for was an Alfred Angelo-- and as everyone knows they unexpectedly went out of business leaving anyone with dress orders through them pretty much without dresses. Pat called me as soon as she found out what was happening and assured me my girls wouldn't lose any money and that we'd find someone even better with a different brand. I bought my wedding dress here in 2018 from Pat. I had an excellent day choosing my dress - this was one of seven I tried on. Pat heard what I was looking for and also pulled a few dresses she thought would look good on me. In the end, I ended up with a dress that had what I was looking for but actually was something I never would have picked up myself. It was beautiful and I loved it. The seamstress works WONDERS. I had to have my dress taken in a lot, and she worked magic making it fit perfectly. There was a jacket with sleeves I wanted to wear during the ceremony, but I wanted it to appear flush with the gown so my guests wouldn't realize it wasn't a part of the actual gown. She made it happen, and when I entered the reception in a strapless dress they were all surprised! Overall, a great experience, beautiful dress, and good service. read more

Where do I begin.... I visited Cinderella Bridals this passed Sunday which also happened to be their sale day (which I thought was a bonus). I was paired with the stylist, Jaclyn G. For reference I am 26 years old (and look on the younger side) however, age aside there is no reason to treat someone like they are less serious to buy or less of a bride. Picking out a wedding dress is supposed to be a positive experience. I am unsure whether this stylist lacked overall personality and treats all of her clients the way she treated my family and I.. but something tells me it was not that. I did give my budget stating I'd like to stay under 1K (I'm getting married in Mexico and this is a realistic budget for the light dress I want). Perhaps this is what deterred her which is totally unacceptable. I picked out a few dresses to try on and to be fair she did pick out a couple herself which she thought I would like (although I did not). Again that is not her fault. While trying on the dresses I feel she could not care less. She did not clip me into them properly. I had to continuously have my sister hold up the dresses for me to keep from falling down (this is unacceptable). She was very rude to my mother as well. After trying on a dress, I overheard my mother say she didn't like one I had just tried.... she responded to her saying "You're not the one going to wear it." Although that is true what kind of sales person says that to the mother of the bride? It's rude and made all of us feel unwelcome. I am a size zero and all of the dresses were size 10+ - this is not her fault BUT she proceeded to tell me that I would be no less than a size 6 because you have to leave room to alterations. I looked at her puzzled because I have tried on wedding dresses before in a size 0 and they fit. This made me feel like she was after getting me a dress way too big to get way too many alterations. She said "you're looking at me like you're confused" and I said "No I just don't agree with what you're saying as I'm definitely not a Size 6. (Maybe a 2/4 for alterations at most) Either she was trying to sell a way too big dress or she just has zero experience (which in my opinion is not okay either way). At one point I tried on a dress which I loved!!! We asked to try on a veil with the dress and she proceeded to go 'get one' was missing for a few minutes returned with no veil and communicated I should get dressed now. What kind of bull is that? At this point I was frustrated with the experience and flabbergasted. I just wanted to leave. There were 2 dresses which I had liked that were in size 12s .... despite her bad attitude -- I really was feeling optimistic about one of the dresses as I loved it on me. We left off with her saying she would follow up on Tuesday after she contacted the sellers to see if I could purchase one of them in my size. It's Thursday, and still no call. I contemplated following up as I did really love the dress but after sitting with it, I feel the whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I went home feeling sad and unexcited. My mother and I went to Cinderella Bridals to find "the dress." If you are looking for a plain, beautiful, simple dress, not too much sparkle, Cinderella isn't the one. Wow, this was my 3rd bridal store trying on wedding dresses, and I did not think I was going to find my gown here. I knew the style I had in mind and was a little discouraged at first because the consultant pulls dresses for you, and you aren't able to browse yourself. However, Pat did a FANTASTIC job. She pulled dresses for me based on a picture I showed, and we discussed what I liked and didn't and she found dresses that accommodated my requests. Booking the appointment was easy, and I appreciate the confirmation phone call, they do ask for a credit card to secure the appointment, but I can understand after visiting why. The amount of time the consultants give you should be taken seriously. My appointment was at 5pm and I arrived at 430, Pat was able to take me earlier than expected which was great....fast forward 2 and a half, yes 2.5 hours later! I left the salon with my dream gown. I never felt rushed at any time. The store is EXTREMELY clean, I appreciated the shiny, immaculately spotless floors, as I was walking around in the dresses without any shoes. Every sample dress I tried on was very clean and new. Pat truly cares about bridal gowns and wants to accommodate her customers. read more

I bought a cathedral length bridal veil and front veil for over $200 from here in late 2017. I was told it would take two months to arrive. After two, four, six and eight months my bridal veil still hadn't arrived,& hadn't gotten my money back and no one returned my calls. Here I am three years later and never received my veil or my money back. Terrible business. Don't waste your time or money. It's a scam. Here is the thing, she had a great experience here. I, did not. I felt from the moment I walked in that they did not want to service me. They were rude and snooty toward me. After I was fitted for my bridesmaid dress, I commented, "oh I might come back here to look at dresses for my upcoming wedding," and the lady responded in the most stuck up manner, "well u have to make an appointment." We went this past weekend to try on MOG/MOB dresses. Called two weeks earlier and got an appointment. We were promptly greeted and shown to our area. After choosing two dresses we tried them on. Our sales girl asked us what we liked/disliked in those choices and continued to bring dresses that narrowed down our choices. At the end we had tried on over 20 dresses!!! She wrote down our "preferred ones" on a card with our information so we can come back and continue shopping at a later date. The wedding is not till Aug 2018. Never did we feel pressured to buy and she always willingly looked up the colors of every dress we asked about. Several brides/bridal parties walked in without appointments and they were dealt with courteously. Some were asked to browse while the salesgirls finished the clients they were working with(two were almost done with current clients). Others were told that it was backed up that they would be best off making an appointment (all girls had recently begun an appointment and one went out to lunch). One bridal party walked in off the street without an appointment and asked to try a dress from a picture they had found on line. They waited aprox 10 minutes and were helped out. All the bridesmaids were able to try the dress on and they decided to order them there on the spot. We were there an extensive amount of time as my sister tried on over 20 dresses. Everyone with or without an appointment was helped out with utmost care and courtesy. I would def. recommend them and I would also recommend an appointment as this seems like a busy shop with walk ins (I can't imagine why someone would walk in without an appointment considering dressing rooms and sales girls are limited everywhere you go!). Called on a Thursday looking for a specific bridesmaids dress and the woman (Emily) said she'd have to take down my info and call me back at closing. Never called. They had very few dresses in my budget but I did end up liking one only to find it it was almost 500$ over my budget. I am extremely angry and disappointed they would do something like that. i've heard mixed reviews about Cinderalls and I wanted to check it out since they carry maggie sottero dresses (which i love)! I had an 11am appt and had coffee with me ; I also had my bridesmaid with me to look for dresses. We were told we needed to finish our drinks outside and could not bring them in the store. There was noone else in the store...and we were told only 2 people could go in the brides area to look at me trying on dresses. Its a huge room and they do have a large selection. I can understand if they were busy..but they werent. Later, they let all the girls in, but iut was uncomfortable at first. I showed the woman who was helping me a picture of the dress i had in mind and she brought me "comparable" dresses. i expalined what i was looking for and it was a total waste of time, she brought me what she wanted me to try on or what another sales woman told her to bring me. When the bridesmaids wanted to try on dresses they were ousted out of the "bridal" area and were told to go to the smaller rooms. We couldnt get any help...or a look...or anything to assist with the bridesmaid dresses, so we left. I've been to 2 other places and this was just uncomfortable, not aweful, just not a friendly place to shop in general. If you go, hope you have better service! =) read more

When I got engaged, I knew this was where I'd probably find my dress based on multiple friends' experiences with Cinderella Bridals! Pat was my consultant and she was THE BEST! I was a bit all over the place in deciding what I wanted, what I tried on and ultimately what I bought. The store has such a great inventory of every type of silhouette and fabric style within a reasonable and practical price point. Pat was so kind and walked me through the entire process, taking away all my anxiety and making the process enjoyable. She answered all my questions, gave great feedback and shared some personal experiences that in no way felt overbearing or over-opinionated. She went out of her way to make sure I felt 110% comfortable with my dress and the process. She brought out her seamstress to ask about tailoring options and called the designer to ask about additional modifications. She and the entire team really go out of their way for their brides. I don't understand all the negative reviews. I had nothing but positive experiences at Cinderella. I purchased my gown, veil, belt, earrings, and a headpiece there after accompanying a friend to purchase her gown there. Both of us used them for bridesmaid dresses as well. I must have been in that store 10 or 12 times in the year before my wedding, and got to know almost all of the staff members. They were all helpful, knowledgeable, and treated us with respect. I went to a bunch of other bridal stores in the area to help my mother find her dress, and we had a ton of negative experiences with pretentious staff who treated us like garbage. That was never the case at Cinderella. The store doesn't look like much, but they have a great selection of gowns and worked with me on price because I paid for my gown in full. Highly recommend. Oh, and as it was mentioned that they don't let you take pictures, I found that to be the case pretty much everywhere, including Kleinfeld. I think it's so that you can't take a picture of the gown and have your own seamstress replicate it. read more

I visited Cinderella Bridals a few days ago. It was the second store I visited to find my wedding dress, and honestly I didn't have high hopes, as the first store I went to (in another state) was not that great of an experience. However, I was greeted warmly by Pat, and she was wonderful. We were there for the full 1.5 hours and I never felt rushed or felt like she was just going through the motions. She seemed genuinely interested in helping me find my dress and listened to what I had to say about each dress, providing just enough feedback and guidance but never overstepping or being pushy. We ended up with a dress I loved and bought the store sample since it fit so well. They steamed it for me and hung it on a bust piece to keep its shape, put it in a breathable cover for me and then a plastic bag on top since it was raining outside.
