I ordered my dress in October, letting the owner know my wedding was March 3rd in Florida (where I live now). After months went by, I had to follow up with Mustillo's to find out the status of the gown. My father died on February 3rd and I came up to NJ (still no dress - but I reached out to Mustillo's to let them know I was in town). The dress finally arrived at Mustillo's on February 9th. I got my dress fitting and accommodated *Nicole's schedule* to do so on the weekend of my father's services!! It is now 12 days from the wedding and the dress is not ready yet, and my mom, who is a 70 y/o woman is running around filing death certificates, trying to get down to Florida, was told that Mustillo's will not even box or ship the dress to us. They will not even simply PLACE the gown in the appropriate box so my mom can ship it. This isn't even the bulk of the experience, but it's certainly the kicker. Needless to say, we will not be recommending this business. Do yourself a favor and go to a shop that prioritizes customer experience and professionalism.

As a bride who was in the store while "Anon" from Middletown, NJ was there, I can say that her version of events as to what happened are completely distorted. My twin sister got married in September and myself and 4 other bridesmaids ordered our dresses from Belle Bridal. We had such a great experience there, even though the location of the store is not convenient for any of us (we live in North and South Jersey) that when I started my search for Bridesmaid dresses I knew I would be going back to Belle Bridal. Kim is extremely helpful and very pleasant to deal with. She even shipped my bridal shoes to my apartment so that I didn't have to make the trip to the store to pick them up. I had an appointment today at 1:00 p.m. for my bridesmaids to try on and pick up their dresses. While "Anon" from "Middletown" (actually she stated several times she was from Staten Island like anyone cared...stormed in and demanded that Kim give her her bridesmaid dress and refused to pay for the alterations that Kim had completed for her. She demanded to try it on, however, without an appointment, she had no right to the fitting rooms at that moment. My bridesmaids were utilizing them. She then screamed at Kim in a fit of rage and completely embarassed herself (and who I'm assuming is her mother) and refused to pay for the alterations. She had apparently ordered her dress a size smaller thinking she could lose the weight and didn't, and then blamed the cost of alterations on Kim. Even though when you order a dress from Kim, she makes you sign and initial that she explained and advised which size you should order according to your measurements. "Anon"'s mother eventually paid for the alterations to save herself and her daughter any further embarassment, while Anon was still shouting expletives while leaving the store. Please disregard "Anon's" rediculous review. With an attitude like that I'm sure she won't get too far in life. Kim and her employees are an absolute pleasure to deal with so much so that my mother will also be using her for her dress alterations as well. After two bridal party experiences with Belle Bridal I can't say enough about how well you are treated at this store. You definitely get the one on one attention you deserve as opposed to going to a David's Bridal or similar store. Kim, keep up the great work and you handled yourself in such a professional and lady-like manner today...even when faced with the screaming and finger pointing of a crazy animal from Staten Island. read more

I'd like to begin by saying that I was actually in the store while "Anon S." barged inside demanding service - without an appointment. My sisters, mother, and I were happily trying on bridesmaid dresses until this lady (and I use that term loosely) came in and caused a scene. She DEMANDED that Kim let her try on her dress, and Kim calmly told her that she needed an appointment, and that the fitting rooms were currently occupied. Kim tried her best to avoid any confrontation, and the only person being extremely "rude" and "combative" was "Anon S." She is a true "bridesmaidzilla" in every sense of the word, and I wish the bridal party she is included in the best of luck. Now, let me continue by saying that Kim helped me in choosing bridesmaids dresses for my bridal party, and is now helping my twin sister with her bridesmaids dresses. We obviously returned to Kim at Belle Bridals due to the EXCELLENT customer service we received for my wedding party, and we plan to return again for my other sister's wedding! Kim is truly amazing, and will do anything possible to make sure you are happy with your dress. She is friendly and professional, and made every appointment we had a fun experience. I would recommend Kim and Belle Bridals to anyone looking for great prices, and excellent customer service! read more

I am the mother of the bride and after searching many bridal shops (with not great experiences) I came across Kim and Belle Bridal. She is absolutely an amzaing business owner. We had gone in there several times not sure what we wanted in a bridesmaid dress. We were having difficulty with the color of the dress and were not sure which color we were going to go with. She ordered us swatches for each color and when we still couldnt decide if the pewter color was right for us, she let us take the sample dressses with us to the tux shop. We hadn't even placed any orders with her when she did that for us. Also my daughters accent color was a color she had in a scarf, she let us take that as well so we could match our flowers. She and all her staff are truly one of a kind. I would highly recommend her and Belle Bridals. I am now ordering my mother of the bride dress and our flower girl dresses from her. She is a role model for small business owners and especially bridal shops. read more

As a mother of two brides who have used Belle Bridals, I only have great things to say about Kim and her employees. They are very helpful and professional. They are excellent at their jobs. I was extremely happy that my second daughter chose to use this store. I went there on Saturday, with my daughter and a few of her bridesmaids and was having a wonderful time when in walked the very rude Anon from Middletown. The way she acted i do not wonder why she wants to remain Anon. She was very rude and disrespectful to the owner. If she were my daughter (I will thank God she is not) I would have been so embarrrassed and probably dragged her out by her hair. I must commend Kim on remaining professional in such a stressful situation. read more

This is my second year in a row at Belle Bridals. Last year my younger son got married and this year my older son. I received many compliments from last year's dress, but not as many as this year's dress. They know how to help you find the right dress that is complimentary to your body and shape. The service you receive from Kim and her sales staff is impeccable. My dress had a slight flaw in it and Kim, with her gifted hands, altered it so that you would never know there was a flaw. The alterations are top notch, and these ladies are knowledgeable and go above and beyond to accommodate you. Stay away from the big, flashy stores. You can get just as good, if not better, and more personal service at Belle. Thank you Kim! read more

I have never written a Yelp review, this is my first and the most deserving. Kim at Belle Bridal made my wedding dress shopping experience a dream come true! I could not have asked for a more perfect place to buy a dress. She catered the experience to the bride and helped walk me through the process. From head to toe she assisted me in selecting the most perfect dress and veil. The measurements she took aided in me buying a dress that was a near perfect fit requiring little to almost no alterations.
