They said it would be ready this Thursday 3 days away. I thought that would be great. I arrived Friday, 4 days from the drop off. A day after they said it would be available. When I arrived it took them a while to find my suit, at which point one woman said, oh it has a big stain (it didn't) and she was just about to clean it. Seeing the disappointment on my face she said, you really should give us more time, drop your clothes off before you need them. Their timing was wrong, they didn't deliver, and they were condescending about it. Also $28 seems high. Sorry to bother you with my business. I won't bother you again.

The…read moreworkmanship was not at a professional level--hems were uneven, seams were puckered, and the overall finishing looked rushed and careless. Unfortunately, a couple of the pieces were altered to the point that they're no longer wearable, which is incredibly frustrating given the cost of both the clothing and the service. I chose this business expecting basic tailoring standards and attention to detail, but that wasn't my experience. Based on the quality of the work I received, I would not recommend them for alterations.

I was sad to discover that Zuma has retired. She was absolutely the best thing about this business…read more When I called and inquired about alterations for a wedding, which is still three months away, the first and ONLY thing she was interested to know was whether or not I purchased my dress in her store. Since I did not (it is a vintage gown), I was dismissed and told that she needed to give priority to customers who bought their dresses in the store. So basically, I could either come in within the next week, or not come in at all. I suppose everybody is entitled to a business model, but this isn't the one that I would personally go with. I suppose you will get decent service if you are a high school student, and you buy your prom dress in their store, but I wouldn't count on receiving the kind of care and attention that you would have received when Zuma was there. Sadly, another dependable local business is no more.

Abigail Bride holds a special place in my heart as I purchased my wedding dress at this location…read more I was recommended this shop by a friend after visiting a few places and not having luck. I loved my experience here. It's a one-on-one appointment and they allow you to try on as many dresses as you'd like. Other places I've been to only allow you to try on 5/6 dresses. Not knowing what I like, I wanted to be able to see a variety. I tried on about 15-20 dresses and narrowed down my search to 3. I left the shop undecided and called back a few weeks later. They shared designer information with me and after researching the designer they carry more online, I fell in love with a discontinued dress. Abigail Bride thankfully had one left in stock and in my size! They placed it on hold till I returned back to try it on and I purchased it on the spot. They make you feel very special by placing your name on a letter board and placing it into the store window. I had a wonderful experience from start to finish and I highly recommend looking at wedding dresses here!
