I brought a gown for a black tie wedding to Rosann and didn't really give her much time to alter it. I was so grateful that she got it done in plenty of time for the wedding. Please do not be fooled by the few "good" reviews like I was. I took a bridesmaid dress here to be hemmed and had a terrible experience. When I brought my dress in, she had me try it on to determine where it needed to be hemmed. Then she sprayed some sort of white stuff along the entire bottom of the dress. I had never seen that before so I asked her what it was, and she said it's how she marks where it needs to be hemmed. She seemed to know what she was doing so I didn't question it. About 10 days later, I pick up my dress and bring it home. Upon inspection of the dress, I was appalled at the work. The seams on both the dress and dress lining were completely uneven with the fabric bubbling, and the white stuff was still on the dress! I attempted to get the white stuff off with mild soap and water, which did not work and then left water stains on the dress (which I had to wear for a wedding in 5 days). I brought the dress back to express my concerns and she tells me "As long as the length is even then it doesn't matter what the seam looks like. No one is going to see the lining so the seam doesn't need to be straight. Sometimes if the fabric is stretchy it's hard to get a straight seam." I'm sorry, but aren't you a professional? Shouldn't you be able to make a straight seam no matter what the fabric is? I explained to her that it's an expensive bridesmaid dress and that the seam DOES need to be straight. She had me try on the dress again and says "the length looks even to me" with a snarky attitude. Meanwhile, I pointed out that the left side of the dress was touching the floor and the right side wasn't, so it wasn't even. When I asked about the white stuff on the dress, she tells me it's chalk and it's easy to get out. Then why didn't you get it out before you gave the dress back to me? How are you going to put marks on my dress and then leave them there? The lack of professionalism is astounding. She was unapologetic, apathetic, and rude. I told her I at least needed the dress seam fixed and straightened, which she agreed to do. She also said she would get the white marks out. I picked up the "fixed" dress 2 days later, the day I was leaving for the wedding (still with white marks). Thanks for the unnecessary stress! Long story short, if you need something hemmed or tailored for an important event, I strongly suggest you go elsewhere. Also, she wears a face shield as if it's a mask. **eye roll** read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would . I came in asking to get a dress altered because I am maid of honor in a Wedding . When I came to try it on it obviously didn't fit my chest and I said I was hoping I could get away without wearing a bra . It was poofy and she goes ugh you have to wear something under that instead of offering to make the chest tighter she took in the waist but not the hips so if you take a picture it's creased . She didn't measure the straps properly and my super stuffed bra fake boobs look like they are three feet from my shoulders and when I'm not trying to stand up straight the straps fall to the side. I have never spent more money to get barely anything done . Not to mention she only takes cash or Venmo which is unprofessional. 202 dollars on a dress and it doesn't even fit me and she didn't offer to change it . Don't go there unless you want to blow money and have them ignore you when you obviously didn't like how it came out . read more

I dropped of two items for simple sewing. I was told they would be ready on Wednesday. I am only in town on weekends so I returned the following Saturday when they should have been ready and the owner advised that they were not yet done (after she tried to give me someone else's jeans and jacket although I presented her with my ticket. She finally found my clothes in the back and explained they weren't done. She didn't apologize for not having them ready on time and when I advised her that was unacceptable she explains she was busy with weddings. She didn't even offer an apology. I had 2 pairs of expensive jeans that had holes in the pockets. After visiting the shop I got them at, they wanted $45 bucks A PAIR to fix. I visited a few other places who wouldn't even make an attempt. On recommendation from a local Facebook Group, I checked out Rosann's store and she fixed each pair for $6 each....EACH!! Holy cow, what a bargain, and her work looks great. Will be going to her for all of my tailoring needs. read more
