I wish I were having another wedding just so I could hire them again. As a COVID bride (first wedding on 9/19/2020), Ereny was extremely understanding and worked with me to get my hair/makeup done for my micro wedding. For our reception which was rescheduled to 9/4/2021, Ereny and Zoraida did hair and makeup for my bridal party, my mother-in-law and myself and they did an absolutely amazing job. They were extremely flexible with the changes in location (originally for the venue but then had to be changed to the hotel) and also the schedule of my bridesmaids. My friends (and my husband) were shocked at how gorgeous I looked thanks to them - despite only getting a few hours of sleep the night before. I felt so beautiful, and they were very attentive with my requests (I wanted my eyes to pop) and the requests of my bridal party. They also came back to do a makeup touch up and hair style change, and did a phenomenal job. Not to mention that my hair and makeup still looked amazing the next day at brunch. They are also so friendly, extremely talented, and beautiful women inside and out. I highly recommend Lush Bridal for any of your upcoming hair/makeup needs. Ereny now changed the company name to lb on Yelp so that no on can find her business. She blocked me from all Facebook and deleted all the reviews on there. This is pathetic and it shows that she is not a good business women and lies to her clients. This is so outrageous and I would NEVER recommend her company to anyone. ... Erney was unprofessional to me in an email wherein she accused me of intentionally relaying misformstion. When I forwarded her a copy of an email that my vendor provided to me regarding the handling of weddings due to covid. she refused to provide any refunds. she cannot keep my money due to a COVID-19 related cancellation. There is legislation to support that. As a bride during a pandemic we have enough to worry about and have enough stress. I do not recommend her. read more

I got married within a month of my husband proposing to me ! Kind of a shot gun wedding, but I wanted everything done as if it wasn't. I work in the beauty industry and was looking for someone who really exceeded my expectations. Brittany did everyone's hair, i had 4 bridesmaids, a flower girl, my mom and myself, mine was perfect. My maid of honor has crazy curly short thick hair and she was able to make her hair look the same as everyone else's, and i know how hard her hair is to work with. Ereny did everyones makeup, I've never seen my mother with anything more than mascara in my life and she did her makeup natural but with some glam. My makeup was out of this world exactly what i wanted, but to fit my style. These girls definitely exceeded my expectations ! I really could not have been happier with choosing them. The trial didn't go as i would have liked. I got airbrush MU and lashes and it looked sloppy ( i was taking my engagement pictures that day ) I ended up taking some of the make up off... After having paid for the trial, which was expensive, I didn't want to lose my money so i just stuck with them. On my wedding day, She was 30 mins late. No phone call. But ending up doing a great job. She even had extra lashes for my mom who decided she wanted them last minute. read more

THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE! my friend and I did a makeup trial for our upcoming weddings. 1.) unsanitary: the barbicide is light blue instead of dark blue which means they are watering down or replacing with windex. They also used materials right out of the bottle without wiping or using different makeup wands. UNBELIEVABLE! 2.) I looked like satan on crack. I'm not saying that I'm Angelina Jolie, but I looked like I asked a transvestite to put my make up on in the dark. I asked for light colors to brighten up my eyes with a little darkening around the creases. My eyeshadow was heavy and connected my crease to my eyebrow. Horrible. then on top of dark eye-makeup, she darkened my lips to give me a true blood vibe. I think what topped it off was the purple-ish blush. 3.)When I asked for light liner on my eyelids, she did it heavy, dark and the line WAS NOT SMOOTH. my 11 year old cousin could do a better job. 4.) when we commented on things we didn't like, she did not offer to change anything, instead she said something to the equivalent of "well I'm surprised you're saying that because it looks really good with your skin tone". Then she didn't change anything. we paid a lot of money for a makeup trial, and then they wouldn't even let us try different things! 5.) the products used were CHEAP. they did not put high quality or even moderate quality materials on my face. NYC is dollar store level, not the quality I would expect for this money. 6.) IMPOLITE/UNPROFESSIONAL: not only were we double booked but while there we waited 35-45 minutes. It was snowing and we asked to expedite paperwork, or allow us to do it another time, she said that the paperwork would only take "2 seconds". 30 minutes later we were on our way out. every 10 minutes I asked if we could move the process along, she said "just 2 seconds". Not to mention all calculations were done on her iphone. I felt that I was checking out of a high school bake sale on halloween. read more

Very disappointed by lush bridal and wish I never chose them as my bridal team. When I initially signed the contract, some of the girls who wanted both hair and makeup changed their minds and wanted just hair. I didn't think this would be a big problem as I had a few more girls wanting additional services where it would work out to where I actually needed to pay more. Well, I told Enery this the day before the big day, and I received a very rude text from Enery saying she can do the additional services but there will be no swapping of services! Granted, here I am during my rehearsal dinner getting these awful message from her! The day of the wedding came, Enery was miserable did not smile once, gave my photographer a hard time. She would sigh and frown whenever my phtographer request for additional shots. My photographer even commented to me,"what's wrong with your makeup person?" I spoke to Enery again regarding how ridiculous it is that someone who already paid for hair but decided not to get it done but another bridesmaid wants it now and willing to pay- that she won't swap the two. I pleaded with her, she finally agreed. She continued to be miserable the rest of the morning. I tried my best to ignore her but it was hard and I have to say she almost ruined my mood the day of my wedding! The hair stylist Britney was amazing and sweet, wish the owner was too. Also, my first trial was scheduled with Melanie and Enery. Melanie never showed up(never got an explanation why) so Enery had to do my hair.. Which she couldn't nail the style I was going for. So she gave me a second "complimentary" hair trial which I had to take time out of my work schedule and spend more gas money to drive the 45 min to the salon. Enery kept trying to sugar coat things by saying well that's why I'm giving you a second trial complimentary . Well- in my option I wouldn't have needed a second trial to begin with if Melanie showed up the first time anyway. The second hair trial, I got there on time. No one was there, salon closed. got a text from Enery said she will be there in 15 min. She got there in 30 min instead. This was the worst service I ever had and unfortunately it had to be with a vendor on my wedding day :( I am very disappointed with lush bridal and their unprofessionalism. Ereny is a perfectionist and you can tell she really cares about her clients and the reputation of her business. My entire bridal party and Mom were so happy with everything, but I was blown away not only by the makeup and hair, but at how responsive she is to all my preferences, questions, emails, everything! The artist who did our hair also did a great job and our hair stayed in place all night. Would definitely recommend and my sister will be booking with them for her 2019 wedding! read more

What kind of a business wouldn't even respond to inquiries? Completely unprofessional and rude.

I am "the aunt" that was part of the wedding party on 6/27/15. I had my hair and makeup done and was so disappointed. I really looked forward to having my hair done as an up do and to have false eyelashes put on...I had never done this before. Everyone was unhappy. I explained that I wanted an up do, needed some height on top and some curls or waves. What I got was a low, side mess and just slicked back in the front...no style. She then "fixed" it by bringing it center. Then, my makeup. I said what I wanted twice. Most important, I said as little eyeliner as possible. What I ended up with were fully lined top and bottom, making my eyes look small. Shocking, after being very clear about what I wanted. When I told Ereny, she wiped off some liner on the bottom and handed me a Qtip to fix myself. There was not any time left to fix the mess they made and besides, who was going to make a big fuss and ruin the bride's day? She was already not happy about it. Everyone attempted to fix themselves and others. I know the day was not about me but my hair looked horrible in any pictures that I was in. Lesson learned...always watch what they are doing every step of the way and try to be in front of a mirror at all times. Can't trust anymore. read more
