There was a beautiful variety of gowns, all which are altered by Gisselle's expert seamstress- her mother:) I purchased my gown, veil, and a surprise tiara as the price was perfect. My finance got his tux from here as well and was happily surprised they had extra wide tuxedo shoes that actually fit his feet comfortably. To our great delight Gisselle & her team were also able to completely decorate, organize, and coordinate our whole wedding!!! The gift of not having to stressfully DIY our own decor was priceless! Gisselle transformed our venue into a breathtakingly beautiful wedding wonderland! She created multiple large silk flower backdrops with floor to ceiling cloth drawings. Every wall was a beautiful photo op. From the seating chart, welcome sign, tiered favor table, our custom memory shelf, to the reserved seating signs, Gisselle took care of every beautiful detail. Every table was complete with more flowers, candles, flower centerpieces, gold charger plates, a custom program tucked into a folded napkin, and so many other details- you really have to see for yourself on her instagram!! For my prom dress, I hemmed 1 inch, cut about 2 inches of my train, tightened my bust, tightened my waist and tightened my thigh, tightened it under my butt and it ONLY cost $100!!! For how much and what I wanted done, it was so inexpensive for a great work ethic. I wish I took a before picture of the dress but take my word for it, it was sloppy, I would have to hold the dress up for it to stay. On top of that I was looking for a matching pocket square and bow tie but couldn't find one so I asked if it's possible to make it out the train she had cut off and she said she could try. As result she was able to and it was ONLY $30 for both!!! I bought pocket squares and bow ties online that I thought was like the purple for $50. She did everything within a week and accommodated to me, she made sure I was satisfied. I had a great experience working with her and will definitely work with her again in the future.

Brides beware!!! This woman tried really hard to make me believe she would have my bridesmaid gown…read morealtered in time for my sister's wedding this Friday. I feel like such a sucker. I brought her a delicate and very oversized gown (I lost 40lbs) in mid Aug. She assured me she was familiar with the dress and knew it was from Macys bridal. I felt confident. I went to two other local seamstresses and this shop was least expensive. I made an appt. to pick it up on Sept. 16. I went there and it was not done (2 1/2 weeks later). She said I should have called her first...ummm thats what an appt is for, right? I got stern with her and she said her son was in the hospital. Now I felt stupid for being worried. She kept saying to call her, I said no you call me when its done. She said come Friday it will be done. When I showed up Fri (9/20) the business was closed. I finally got her to answer my calls the following Tues, as her voicemail box was full. I was told to come in the next morning. When I did my dress was only half done. She sized the rest of it and said to pick it up Monday morning (9/30) after arguing that I needed it ASAP. When I arrived Mon. there was an Eviction notice on the door. She came out to meet me and assured me I would have my dress that day she was having landlord problems...Told me again to call her after 1pm. She ignored my calls, and I finally got got an answer by calling from a different number. At 3pm she told me she was going to sign papers and could get in by 8-9 pm. I stayed around that night only to find out I could get my dress at 10am the next morning. So this morning, the property manager opened the door for the customers and let us get our items. After speaking w him & several other clients I concluded this was happening to all of them. My dress was still hanging in the dressing room where I left it 1 week prior. She hadn't even touched it!!! Never even put it on a hanger. She had no intentions on finishing it. I'm a fool for giving so many opportunities to this shop. I brought my unfinished dress to another seamstress in town today and she could seem to figure out what this woman had done with my dress. She said it was shortened too much and said the alterations already done were not professional. I only hope my dress is able to get done by Friday by this kind seamstress. I met lisa at the shop afterwards to get a refund (after telling my husband she would) and she told me to dispute it with the credit card. She said what about the work I already did....REALLY???? With all the stress and running around chasing you down, you should be paying me! She hopped in her friends car and drove away. Please beware of this shop!!!! And read other brides reviews online, you will come up with more stories. Dont believe me, call the Metuchen tax dept or county landlord division. Its unfortunate for the other brides who have been waiting months to get their dresses with no answers.

I really had a great time here. The woman who owns this store is just awesome, and you can tell she's really excited to help you choose the perfect dress for your wedding. The level of service you get here is just a million times better and more personal than you'd get at any of the bigger stores (davids bridal, macy's, ect ).. and really the prices are reasonable to. She also offers free alterations and a free veil ( at least the promotion was available at the time I ordered my dress). I just got my dress today...alterations and everything ;P It's absolutely beautiful and I"m so happy we found this store.
