Great brunch selection, great espresso drinks. Delicious pastries! Chill vibes and didn't feel rushed. Inside has a cozy feel, outside is more spacious. This plaza is a common pit stop before going up Mt Lemmon. Always see this place packed. Glad I finally got to try this place. Outstanding! It was a wonderful lunch. My wife had the Seasonal Special salad, The Plaza Salad: Heritage blend arugula, gala apples, pomegranate seeds, roasted grapes, goat cheese (she substituted feta), and pepitas with maple poppyseed dressing. Artfully plated and she said it was excellent. The last time she came here with my daughter, she also had a Seasonal Special salad that was on a watermelon slice for a platter and she said it was out of this world. I had the Ribeye Burger and it was heaven. Shaved Angus rib eye with provolone, red onion, bell pepper, banana pepper, served on a brioche bun. I don't recall that mine had the red onion or the bell pepper, but that was serendipitous for my post-covid taste buds that find those items repulsive. This burger was juicy and the texture was great. I opted for the waffle fries and they were crispy. Well, while I was waiting, I completely downed the huge slice of berry pie that was one of only three items left in the pastry case. My wife told me that I better get it now when we were ordering at the counter or I would regret it because it would probably disappear pretty fast, so I did. It was warmed up for me and I took it to our table. So of course, I'm going to start eating it. I mean, how can you just stare at a slice of pie while waiting for your food? It was SO good. The various berries in it were plump and juicy. The pie was at least an inch and a quarter thick. the crust was flaky. Delicious! If the other slice was still in the pastry case, I would have purchased it to take home. I also had the pineapple, carrot, ginger drink--*whew*! The ginger was so strong that it was slightly burning my throat. For that reason, I didn't enjoy it. But I held my breath and downed the thing. It was $4.50, after all, in a small juice glass. I wasn't going to let those vitamins go to waste! It was a pleasant Tucson afternoon and we ate outdoors. Just a lovely lunch. A great stop before you head up Mt. Lemmon or a great stop after coming down Mt. Lemmon (just keep in mind they close at 2:00). 5* = A top favorite. Mind-blowing good. I will definitely return and I will go out of my way to go here. Worth every dime of my money. 4* = Outstanding. Top-tier. Some elements not quite as good as it gets, but it still is worthy of my regular business. 3* = Good experience. I might do repeat business if it is convenient, the only option, the only one in its category, or on a whim, but would not be among the first thing to come to mind. This place is a little spot with weekend specials such as of chilaquiles con pollo. Soup of the day and a lunch and breakfast menu. They hold 50 people inside and maybe 50 outside. It is very cute chic place. The actual coffee itself was good. I got an iced mocha with oatmilk nothing over the top. The customer service was where it wasn't as great. Arden was very nice and polite. The I believe manager lady, was very rude to her staff and barked out orders which was right in front of me and about me. It made me want to leave right there and then. Not a fan of that negativity in a cafe. So I probably won't be returning too quickly. read more

This is such a cute spot! They have a large outdoor patio with plenty of shade. The atmosphere inside is bright and cozy. GET THE PASTRIES! The cherry cheese danish was possibly the best pastry item I've ever had. The perfect amount of sweet - not overwhelming. They were also so kind to add some chocolate to my decaf coffee. This place is casual enough to go to after a hike or bike ride, but nice enough for a breakfast date. We'll be back! read more

We sat outside with our pups. They had water outside and dog bowls which was nice. The mamacita burrito was good. I only ate half because it was filling. Pretty good breakfast-ish cafe. Stellar coffee! Prices are a bit salty, but this is Tucson where mules bring supplies from the big city. Either that or the rent is Too Damn High. Whichever, despite the prices the food was good, very fresh. I had a quiche (several available) and it was very good. Indoor/outdoor seating (free mister) and friendly overall vibe. There are keto selections, which amazed me; sadly, I can't eat the steak in the selection. This is far away from fast food, and the good food, service, and vibe might just be worth the price. It's not formal dining, but real plates, silverware, and added touches. My only other observation is that they don't need to serve rolls with quiche (and can therefore save the jam and butter portion that came with them). I am shocked by the below standard service I received at the Plaza Palomino location today. A complete catastrophe from beginning to end. Not a menu in sight. Dirty tables. A curt cashier who I learn later was "one" of the managers - No place inside to sit. I am an elderly woman so sitting at the tiny little bar was not possible. I finally asked for my order to be repackaged to go. It never came. Then, totally exasperated from a terrible restaurant experience I just left without receiving my order. Le buzz is a Tucson staple in my opinion. Anytime we have guests visiting, this is on the list of places to eat. I don't know if its their great coffee, delicious pastries, good food or hospitality but I think everyone should try Le buzz! Never disappoints! AMBIANCE: Get there early as it does tend to get a little crowded with the bikers loitering while I stand up with my scone, but a nice staff member was able to nicely ask them to move on for other patrons. I love this place. I've tried 50% of the menu and it's all amazing. You have a wide variety of fresh pastries to choose from then you have a espresso bar which they have custom and fun flavors like a spicy chai or lavender. The food!!! The breakfast burritos are one of my favorites! The salsa is to die for I wish they sold jars of it. The pancakes are amazing as well as their mount Lemmon omelette. Local coffee shop has been here for years. You want to come early, especially Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Bicyclist use this location as a starting and ending point for bike rides. Atmosphere is very relaxed, staff are always friendly. Coffee and coffee drinks are fantastic. Great food as well. Definitely worth the visit read more

I have been to Le Buzz several times and have never had a bad experience! It has become a habit to stop by this cute coffee shop every time I am coming down from Mt Lemmon. They have great options for both indoor and outdoor seating. The staff is always incredibly welcoming and friendly; they make you feel at home. Not to mention, the food is excellent! My friend took me here, as she has come before and loves it. I was so excited to try the Mango Curry Chicken Salad Sandwich. It was definitely very good and fresh, though I do wish there was more chicken in the chicken salad. I felt as though there was more fruit than chicken. However, I still enjoyed the sandwich very much, being that everything was still very flavorful and tasty! I also took my friends corn tortillas home and I must say they are sturdy tortillas! We definitely noted that for future visits. All around me the food people were eating looked fantastic, so I know I will be back to try more of the menu! This place is so good I don't want to give it a good review. Their Mayan coffee is good iced or hot. The employees are hard working young people with good attitudes. They always try to make my daughter smile. Their burritos are great to eat there or to go. Try their cookies as they sell out fast. I'm not the biggest fan of all their baked goods but nothing there is bad. Ambience is chill and there is often a diverse group of people that attend. Their salsa is good it's just a small to medium sized place so togo will save you the hassle of what can be a long line at times or simple go in before 9AM maybe 9:30AM. read more

I have been coming to le buzz for over six years now I think. It is one of my favorite breakfast places. Honestly the only thing that keeps me from coming here more often sometimes is it's SLAMMED alot of time in the morning usually once it starts to get around 12 o'clock it's not so busy anymore. They recently gave the restaurant a facelift and added a bunch of stuff to the menu. Everything is delicious my favorite thing I would say is the avocado toast thing they have that comes with a fresh squeezed juice and the le buzz breakfast burrito. Oooo! ALSO I have to say that i have also noticed that their portions have become more generous and larger since the new reopening and that gives me lots of pleasure! The burrito used to be kind of small and now it is respectable size. Today I tried the tuna sandwich for the first time and I asked for the bread to be toasted and it was delicious that's going to be one of my new favorite things there. They also sell bags of Their coffee beans (for $15 I think) which I almost always buy a bag when I stop in. Towards the bathrooms there is a wall where are tons of cars and flyers and lots of local postings of businesses. It's pretty neat :-) read more

First time here, staff was so friendly and kind. The gentleman at the register was patient and helpful whilst also making a connection. I had an amazing iced vanilla oat milk latte, they also had other alternative milks. I had an omelette it was good, but the toast and jam was awesome. I'll have to try some of the pastries next time, they looked good! There's a lot of seating both inside and outside(misters outside as well), tables inside felt a little close together but I'm glad to see they're that busy! If you're looking for the best cinnamon rolls in Tucson, look no further. Le Buzz is top notch when it comes to serving up delicious baked goods as well as satisfying savory cravings. I tried a variety of items from the menu including 2 savory items and 2 sweet items from the bakery section. While everything was tasty, the cinnamon roll definitely stood out as the top item. I did also try a honey lavender latte, it was iced and I think overall the flavor profile would probably have been better in a hot drink. I will definitely be back for a cinnamon roll fix and to try a few other menu items! read more

Nice mix of local and out of town patrons, and definitely seemed like some regulars - which always tells me that food is consistently good. It's an order at the counter place, so service was fine. This is a cute little place in a strip mall and it's kinda self serve. Breakfast and lunch only btw...You stand in line and order what you want to eat from a menu board as you walk in. Order, pay and they give you a number to put on your table, which includes outdoor dining on a small patio. Then they bring your food. So 3 of us...one got Gimme the regular...eggs, bacon, home fries and toast. All good. Another got Tuna Nicoise which was their tuna salad along with some of the normal Nicoise ingredients like potatoes, hard boiled egg, Kalamata olives and pine nuts. They loved it! Not too heavy on the mayo in the tuna. I had the Sonoran Salad which was mixed greens, black beans, jicama, tomato, avocado, sharp cheddar and tortilla strips and topped with a grilled chicken breast. While this sounds great, the entire salad was very skimpy on the ingredients. I found some of them under the lettuce but only had 3 tiny slices of avocado, a couple of beans and a few thin;y sliced jicama strips. The kicker was my chicken was WAY overcooked. I didn't even finish it. The problem is that no one comes to make sure everything is OK. They drop the food and leave. Then there are bins for dirty dishes when you leave. I wasnt sure if I was supposed to bus my table or someone else would do it. While putting my dishes in. The bin, I mentioned it to a guy collecting the dishes. He just said sorry. I really want to go back, just for the interesting things on the menu....but there are a lot of places to eat. We shall see. read more
