Hands down the best Red Eye in Tucson - their espresso mixed with their drip is fantastic, and something I will literally drive across town to enjoy. They roast their own, and really do have great espresso drinks. The only thing I can think that would help them is to have a house blend for their drip, rather than various single origins. But that's not all - as far as I've been able to determine, they also have the finest pastries I've ever had the pleasure of eating! The apple galette is nothing short of heavenly, and the black bottom cupcake is to die for. Plus they have amazing quiche, terrific sandwiches, and most of their soups are utterly incredible. The only one I've had that I didn't care for was their tomato basil. I really can't recommend this place enough - its absolutely one of my favorite places in Tucson, and well worth the drive. read more

The Breakfast Burrito is the best burrito I've ever had. The heart of it is scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, cheese, and pico de gallo wrapped in a warm tortilla. By itself, it's terrific. With the roasted tomatillo salsa, it's amazing. Atmosphere-wise, it's very nice. You stand in line in front of the display case where all the delicious baked goods are displayed, and they take your order. I am usually on the go so I'll sit on a bar stool and wait for my order with a glass of ice water, but they have inside and outside eating. It's very dog-friendly with lots of photos of dogs by the register and frequently people have dogs sitting outside. The outside sitting area is cozy and shaded. Lots of bicyclists frequent this place after group rides so it has a unique mix of athletes, casual diners, and folks like myself picking up something delicious to go. read more

Had a wonderful slice of quiche, which came with a bit of fresh salad and home cooked biscuit, served with a raspberry jam, and a Mayan chocolate Mocha. Staff is way cool and all is cooked fresh. Get there early, cafe has solid following among the cycling crowd. That and caffeine addicted dog lovers. Sell fresh roasted coffees too, roasted on Weds. Can't go wrong for here. read more

I saw this bistro before hiking at Mount Lemmon, and I definitely felt underdressed. It was indeed swanky with groups of people in nice attire. The tones of decor are dark, and there are bottles and canisters of tea. I came for the tea; they had Republic of Tea in bottles and also said they were willing to brew any loose-leaf tea into iced tea. My friend got a lemon blueberry scone; I tried it, and it was superb. Lemon accented and almost crumb cake like. I definitely recommend it. Scone and bottle of tea were $5, but I would like to come here again! Went there with a friend after hiking in Sabino. There was a line, but my guess is that was to be expected on a beautiful Saturday around noon. And it killed me to wait in line in front of those dang pastries. They all looked amazing...but I had to say no :-( I ordered a half salad and it was really, really good. I just love this little breakfast and lunch spot! I went there for coffee a few weeks ago. I ended up getting the café au lait and a lemon blueberry scone. I really just couldn't pass up one of their pastries! They have a large display of the pastries where you order your food and drink. It was hard to choose! In addition to the scones, Le Buzz offered muffins, cinnamon rolls, fruit tarts, etc. They also have a full breakfast and lunch menu. I frequent Le Buzz almost every Sunday. Sometimes I get food, but I always get a coffee. Always friendly and helpful. The food is good and the pastry selection is very good if you have a sweet tooth. The coffee is always brewed well, I never feel as if I have to put in any sweetener or milk/creamer to mask it. Drink it black, and that is how you can tell if it is decent. They are always welcoming for my motorcycle club in the mornings. Le Buzz is a laid back place that is always a pleasure to go it. read more

This is my go to every morning breakfast and coffee spot! I work at Velvet Bow across the street and can't wait to get my coffee fix! Their breakfast special is awesome, usually an omelet or pancakes that are to die for. If you can get past the pastry case and not order something from there I'd be shocked! Their croissants are amazing and the chocolate croissant is so perfect! Tony and most of the staff know me by name and ask me if I want my regular all the time. Very friendly! Super happy to find this place. Really cute and quaint inside with great pastries. I had the artichoke quiche and the french roll with raspberry jam. Quiche was good, if a little salty (from the parmesan, I'm guessing). And the roll with the jam was amazing. On a whim, I also ordered the raspberry orange scone which was great. Tender, flavorful, and yummy. Sister had the Mt Lemmon omelet and wasn't completely stoked. Her order got mixed up so it took her a while go get it and then the bacon in the omelet was kinda chewy. Coffee is great, staff is nice scones amazing. Lots of road bikers come here in the mornings. On the weekends it is crowded. It closes earlyish for a coffee place but if you come after 3:00 you can get some discounted baked items. It is loud here, I bring earphones if I want to get work done. Decent, but not extraordinary. The layout was difficult to navigate-there's one menu posted at the beginning of the line, causing a pile up, and then a pile of menus at the cash register, which you get when you have had to already made up your mind to order. They also don't have high chairs, which makes enjoying breakfast a lot more difficult and was surprising given the number of families I saw there. The chorizo potato hash was pretty good but the potatoes were slightly undercooked and the chorizo was a little burned. One of my favorite new places to have a delicious iced latte, grab a bite, or study! I usually end up doing all three :) all the staff are very friendly, professional, and hard working! Tables are always clean! (I have a pet peeve of being around dirty tables). Chicken pot pie is my fave so far but they have excellent salads and balsamic dressing when I'm not up to indulging. In fact, I was so pie-eyed by the menu that I hadn't decided by the time we arrived in front of the counter to order. I asked for a recommendation, and wow did he know his Biz...er, Buzz. Anyway, the grilled veggie with roasted peppers, feta, artichokes, etc. is a delectable stack, accompanied by a few greens with light lemon vinaigrette (doing double duty as sandwich dipping sauce). My pardner let me try his artichoke/shroom quiche, claiming it was a little dry. He was right, but we had opted for a late lunch, popping in around 1pm. The tables are generally tightly packed, so Le Buzz isn't the place to debate the merits of Kama Sutra positions, as the resulting buzz would rival a band of bees. It was our 1st visit & we chose what sounded fabulous on the menu: "GRILLED NAPA - A lovely combination of oven-roasted turkey topped with French brie, tart green apple, red onion, plus a little rustic mustard. $10.20 " We expected big and delicious to share for that price. SO full of disappointment. NOT "OVEN-ROASTED" turkey. INSTEAD, I got a singular slice of thin, pressed deli meat. SLIVER 1-inch-square of tart green apple. A single toothpick-size red onion piece. A shred of brie rind - making this sandwich 96% bread. The price is astounding for what we got in return...it's not good to RIP folks off like this.... I'd love to know HOW they get away with FAKE advertising? Turkey that's not 100% genuine OVEN ROASTED is something different. Customers know & can see that it's NOT oven roasted, so why lie? Fair warning: when you go up to order your food, you will have a huge variety of delicious treats staring at you begging you to pick one. If you're looking for a low cal or low fat sweet, keep moving, but if you're splurging on a well deserved treat, than dig in! I'm sure you're stomach will thank you, but your trainer at the gym might not. I fought the urge and skipped the sweets and went with a yummy egg sandwich with pico de gallo on a nutty whole grain crunchy bread, and paired it with a perfectly made cappuccino. First time here. I don't live here...just visiting Tucson and waiting for fiancé to mountain bike down mount Lemmon. Might as well Yelp about this awesome coffee shop/cafe that I'm at as we speak. First off, the people who work here are polite and patient. Also, free wifi (duh). Next, clean bathroom with decent decor (bathroom cleanliness is important!!!). Next next....as soon as I sat down, the man to the left of me asked me how I was doing...everybody is so polite here, even the regulars....I love it!!!!
