I've frequented Le Botaniste several times which quite frankly says a lot as I'm typically not one to go for vegan food. However, this place is great & Chef Priyanka has created some fantastic dishes. One of my favorites is the fusilli but you honestly can't go wrong with anything here.

One of my favorite lunch spots in nyc! The food is so fresh and healthy, plus the service is always 10/10. They have a lot of fun plant based options, but I love the DIY bowls. I like to order online for pickup, which is convenient because it's typically ready for me by the time I walk over. Highly recommend! Much better than any of the other fast food spots around the area.

I always enjoy Le botanists. It was a lovely stop on a rainy weekday, the food is healthy and yummy and the ingredients are clear. The staff is friendly and well informed. The space is cozy and perfect for a little catch up with a grind. I really enjoy having the botanical menu option :)

Was walking towards Penn station and wanted to take a quick lunch . Had very less time to catch the train and thought of trying Le Botanise ,.. their menu seemed interesting and as a vegetarian myself, I wanted to try their food . Superb locarion . Very close to Penn station . very nice interiors and lots of tables inside to sit and dine . Service was really good . Was browsing menu and tried spicy chili sin carne .. chili looked really good and fresh . She served a bowl and added brown rice , chili , some beans , turmeric onion ... it looked really awesome .. chili tasted so good . And a little hot . Brown rice was actually dry and wish it was hot and soft . Just ate everything else except the rice . I will still give them a 4 star for their approach to sell plant based food . Very few places like these and wish we see more restaurants like this ... loved their cookies ! So fresh and crispy . good experience overall .. 4 stars

*** 4.5 stars *** This is what the Penn Station area needs! It is a desert of healthy or exciting food options, with most people who work in the area rotating between sweet green, Naya and fresh & easy, all of which I'd say are just passable lunch options. The food here is clean, healthy, and yes vegan, but I'm a meat lover and don't miss the meat at all in their dishes, which are flavorful and fulfilling. They opened today and the workers are all patient and kind, letting us sample a few different things and even giving us a coupon for a free cookie. I got the chili which was fabulous, with a nice spice and great flavor. Will be back.. a lot.

I love this place. The staff is super friendly and helpful. It's cute, the ambiance is lovely and the food is delicious. This is such a unique place. I decided to give it a try and ended up going back 3 times/days in a row. It's so flavorful and I love knowing everything is healthy and made with clean vegan food. My go to is the coconut curry and the coconut ceviche but really can't go wrong here .

This is HEAVEN....omg how do I explain the experience, we ordered 4 items - cream and celery soup,…read morespinach artichoke dip for appetizers...umm delicious and chicken pot pie and scallop paella for enterees and both are the BEST I ever had....absolutely loving this vegan heaven right in the heart of NYC, definitely give it a try. Okay so here is an update : we were in area for only 4 nights and after trying it once for our dinner we kept going back, we were there for 3 times total and tried all the things we wanted to - tried Broadway burrito, linguini Fini Alfredo, vegetable barley soup. For sweets we had vanilla bean pan a cotta and blueberry lemon shortcake and. a cappucino - can you tell we were obsessed with this place???? Everything we ate we licked our plates - so DAMN DELICIOUS.

Since we were there for brunch, I decided to try the P.S. Breakfast ($22) which is tofu scramble, spinach, portobello mushrooms, and corn muffins. My friend got the P.S. Burger ($20) with a gluten-free bun ($2). For the breakfast, the portobello mushrooms were the highlight of the dish. They were very juicy and had strong umami flavor! I love spinach even plain, but I think it could have used a touch more seasoning. The tofu scramble was seasoned, but it could either use more seasoning or more moisture. The corn muffins were dry and crumbly, definitely the worst part of the dish. My friend said that the sauce brought the burger together and hid the fact that it's a Beyond burger. She also mentioned that she didn't feel heavy after eating the burger, which was nice. Despite us telling the restaurant that we had to go to a musical, service was on the slower side. My friend also had to try several times to get to the bathroom, since someone was always inside. However, the staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I would only recommend P.S. Kitchen if you have a dietary restriction and want a restaurant that has a relaxed ambiance before your Broadway show.

Sentir is 100% vegan, and I would confidently bring even my carnivore friends here without hesitation. If nobody told you it was vegan, you'd simply think you were eating some of the most creative, flavorful Mexican food you've ever had. It's that good. From the moment you walk through the doors, you can tell this isn't just another restaurant. The atmosphere is warm, stylish, and inviting without feeling pretentious. Every member of the staff was incredibly kind (thanks Camila who served us both days!), knowledgeable, and genuinely excited to talk about the menu and the other restaurants in the group. Their passion for what they do shines through in every interaction. The food completely exceeded every expectation we had. Every dish was beautifully presented, packed with bold flavors, and unlike anything we've had before. We found ourselves talking about every bite and immediately discussing what we'd come back to try... which ended up being less than 24 hours later. We were so excited by the food on our first visit that we completely forgot to take pictures! (It became a complete afterthought because we had already scarfed everything down. ) Thankfully, we redeemed ourselves on day two! The cocktails also deserve their own standing ovation. They're creative, beautifully crafted, and every bit as memorable as the food. If you're looking for a restaurant where every detail has clearly been thoughtfully considered from the atmosphere and service to the food and drinks, Sentir absolutely delivers. We travel to NYC often and almost never eat at the same restaurant twice because there are so many amazing places to try. The fact that we chose to come back the very next day says everything you need to know. Sentir has officially earned a permanent spot on our "must visit" list every time we're in that part of the city. What We Ate (and absolutely LOVED): Sentir Guac - Easily one of the freshest and most flavorful guacamoles we've ever had. It was served with chips and a deep fried tofu that was reminiscent of a "chicken skin" or something along those lines. I've never tried anything like it and it was good and unique! Carne Asada Tacos - Perfectly seasoned with amazing texture and incredible flavor. Al Pastor Chicken Tacos - Sweet, savory, smoky, and absolutely delicious. Cream of Corn - I wasn't expecting a bowl of corn to stand out the way it did. It was warm, comforting and cheesy. I just wish it came with something to dip with. Unfortunately too much was dripping through the fork and I wanted to savor it all! Chile Rellenos - Beautifully prepared with layers of flavor in every bite. It was cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth! Tamal de Carne - Tender, comforting, and packed with incredible flavor. What We Drank: Sentir Michelada - One of the best my husband ever had. The chose Modelo as the beer Little Pitcher - This was a bunch drink. It had grapefruit & orange juice (among other things) but it was shockingly unique and dangerously easy to drink. Café con Ron - The perfect twist or play on an espresso martini but a million times better! Nutty Olivia - I believe this was on "special" and it was a mooth, creative, and another cocktail I'd order again in a heartbeat. It contains gin, which my husband doesn't like but he must have stolen at least 3 sips before I told him to worry about his own drink! Final thought: If a restaurant is good enough to make us skip trying somewhere new in New York City and instead return the very next day, that's about the highest compliment we can give. Whether you're vegan, vegetarian, or a lifelong meat eater, do yourself a favor go!!! I have a feeling you'll be planning your second visit before you even finish your first.

Beyond Sushi was in Midtown near where I was staying, so I ended up coming here---on Valentine's Day, which happened to be a mistake! Since I didn't have a reservation, the lady who checked me in told me I had to find a seat at the bar. Her attitude was not the best, as when I looked over the menu and made a decision on what I wanted to get, she dismissed me when I waved her over, saying she is not the person taking orders. Um, okay? Then who is? One guy at the bar was nicer, and was able to take my order. I started off with a hot tea since NYC was cold in February, and then decided to have as much as I could of two dishes---the "chicken" yakitori skewers and the Korean BBQ skillet. The skewers came in a set of two, with a white mayo-like sauce drizzle and pickled cucumber on the side. Super delectable, though very filling because of the protein! The skillet was made with classic Chunk Foods protein, the go-to plant-based option for all the meat dishes at City Roots restaurants as far as I know. This was incredibly filling, but the sauce and the texture were all around delicious as well. I could NOT bother to finish the brussels sprouts the skillet came with---way too much to stomach, and I was going to focus on the "meats" since I can always have brussels any other time! The bill by the end of it was PRICEY. That's why I only go to one of these restaurants as a special treat when I visit NYC. Watch out if you order hot tea...$13!! I guess that's the NYC way, but still!

This sandwich is usually not something that is available vegetarian so i was curious to see the flavors and textures. The steak is chewy and meaty so if you are not a fan of faux meat then i would proceed with caution. I enjoy the cheeses here as they are unique and different from each other. The sandwich overall was okay though not my favorite sandwich ever. - smoked Mac and cheese (7/10): macaroni with smoked goat cheese, cheddar, mozzarella baked in a cast iron skillet and topped with vegan pancetta and breadcrumbs. This was a cozy appetizer especially on a cold day. The flavors of the cheese are rich and smoky with a hint of saltiness from the pancetta and breadcrumbs. I would have liked it to be a larger portion and offered as an entree. WOULD I GO BACK? Maybe. I liked the ambiance and the option to try dishes that are usually meat heavy but the cuisine is not my personal favorite.
