This time, I ordered the Tamarind Glazed Salmon (This sat on a bed of quinoa, lentils, coconut crusted avocado, mango chutney, and cilantro). I thoroughly enjoyed every bite of this selection. The salmon had a thin layer of charred tamarind and, after mixing it with the other ingredients, just elevated the taste to a hightened level of d.e.l.i.c.i.o.u.s. I also ordered a generous side of Sweet Potatoes, which were amazing, and their Hibiscus Lemonade (Lemon, hibiscus syrup, sugar, and water). Not only was this beverage fresh, but they posted the "use by" date on the bottle, which was not far from the date of my purchase. I ordered the Tamarind-glazed salmon which I actually returned. It was not good at all. Super overcooked salmon, and the fish smelled pretty fishy which is never a good sign..would not recommend this dish at all. I explained this to the staff, and they were nice about exchanging the dish. I then tried the Chicken Tikka Masala which was very good and flavorful. The chicken was a good portion and the sauce was very rich and good. You do need to cut some of the chicken as its pretty big chunks. First time trying INDAY and ordered for pickup. My order was ready when I got there. You can order in person or through a kiosk. The order comes out really quickly. I got the chicken tikka masala bowl, garlic naan, samosas and mango lassi. The basmati rice was a bit hard and wished they added more sauce so I could dip my naan in it. The naan was more like a pita but enjoyed the samosas. The mango lassi was a bit different cause it had coconut yogurt with lime juice. The food at INDAY Express is literally so delicious it compelled me to write a review as I'm still eating, which I typically don't do for fast-casual lunch places. I typically get their Karma bowl and the portion is huge, and each individual component tastes so fresh and made with love (???). Like it has that true comfort food, made in someone's kitchen, feel. As a vegetarian who works in the area, I have never had a bad meal here and always encourage my friends and coworkers to try it. As an added benefit, the staff there is super friendly and food comes out very quickly. If not obvious, I HIGHLY recommend. Get the Karma bowl specifically, you won't regret it. The chili oil on the side was fantastic, although you cannot really distinguish the taste from the curry when mixed in but if you put it on the basmati rice then you can fully appreciate the abundance of flavors from the chili oil. This is a great option for lunch since it's served bowl-style but there was quite a bit of wait. The food was great. We ordered the chicken roti, a chicken bowl, and a garlic naan. The chicken bowl was great - there are so many options to customize and I loved the gunpowder potatoes and the crispy shallots! The chicken roti was delicious all be it a bit messy. Stopped by today as I seem this place a few times but it was always closed so decided to grab lunch. I wanted a roll but wanted salmon as my protein which they don't have an option for so had tonorder everything separately. I got a side salmon, garlic Naan and a side of tamarind sauce. The Naan was good the tamarind was good the salmon was a bit softer then I like think it was cooked medium rare and I prefer my salmon well done. The service although you have minimal interaction with them as everything is mainly kiosk is not friendly. I asked the guy about my order as I was waiting for a while and a bunch of people that ordered after me was getting their items given it was chicken so I assumed the salmon had a different cook time hut wanted to inquire.
