The place has a very pleasant atmosphere and is very well located. We ordered the tasting menu which was slightly pricy but it was a great alternative to get to try different dishes if you don't know what to get. If you are familiar with the menu I would recommend ordering yourself, but if you want to just lay back and enjoy whatever the chef has picked out, it won't disappoint. The service was good. Very attentive and good recommendations. I only wish they would have explained our dishes in a bit more detail since I didn't know much about the food and the ingredients. My favorite dish was the lamb from the tasting menu and the lobster was also very enjoyable. I forgot to add a picture of the second dessert which was a twist on a pecan pie, I really enjoyed it. This other almond dessert was also really enjoyable and it has a very interesting airy texture that almost dissolves in your mouth. As for the rest of the tasting menu, there wasn't any dish that I didn't enjoy. I think the dishes were always very unique and flavorful but no other dish apart from the ones mentioned really stole the show or was worth reordering. I would honestly stick to ordering yourself and maybe asking for some recommendations.

We were craving Indian food and I remembered I had this spot saved for a while, so we decided to come for brunch! First off, the service was 100/10- extremely friendly, professional, and just overall some of the best service I've had in a restaurant. Ambiance was very airy and luxe-- perfect to come for brunch with the family or for date night. We both ordered the brunch 2-course menu. Note that they don't serve the typical curry-esque Indian food for brunch. - Burrata chaat: 10/10 (i am a sucker for burrata and I am also a sucker for anything chaat so this was a match made in heaven. The sauce was super flavorful and the burrata was fresh. The portion size was humongous too-- I was lowkey full by the end of my first dish.) - Sweet pickle pork ribs: 10/10 (the pork is extremely soft and flavorful. Smaller portion size though, especially compared to the burrata chaat) - Beef chili: 7.5/10 (definitely tastes like beef chili + a touch of Indian spices. It was a bit toooo salty for my liking though) - Curry leaf lamb uttapam: 8.5/10 (we were lowkey expecting a curry but we were surprised to see that it was an omelette! Very flavorful though) - Butter chicken kulcha: 100/10 (tbh my fav dish that I got-- even though this was only an accompaniment. It's like a butter chicken masala mini sandwich with naan on top.) - Garlic naan: 10/10 (good classic naan)

The ambiance is great for special occasions. the service feels on par with Michelin-star restaurants. The staff is very attentive and friendly. My group of 4 chose the $135 tasting menu. After each course, multiple staff (sometimes 4) came over to swiftly clear our plates and silverware. 3 things that were notably excellent service: - When we were first seated, the staff checked if we had theater plans, given we were in the theater district. We did not, but the party in front of us mentioned they did have theater plans, so the staff said they would make sure dinner was wrapped up by [insert the time they wanted to head out]. - For the last savory course, we were all so full that we didn't finish everything, and the staff offered to wrap it up for us - We were not rushed at all throughout the meal. We enjoyed the tasting menu and were there for an hour and a half. At one point, one of my colleagues had to take a work call for about 15 minutes, and the staff checked in if we were done with the course, if we wanted to wait for our colleague or if we wanted the next course, in a way that gave no pressure. Many times at these tasting menus or high end restaurants, it can be apparent they are focused on the table turnover. But here they really let us enjoy our meal and catch up, and didn't rush to clear our plates even if we were taking a bit longer on a certain course. The food itself was very good. I was impressed with all the courses. The appetizers/small bites were VERY yum as well as the lobster tail. I was WAY too full at the point we got the last savory dish that came with 4 different dishes and paratha... but also nothing in that course stood out to me enough that I was willing to overeat for it anyway. While the seasoning for the lamb chops was good, they had a tough consistency. These two comments on the food make me feel drawn to giving the 4 instead of 5 rating. I loveddd the treacle tart that ended the experience. It reminded me of pecan pie.

This is a very nice restaurant. It is like a high end Indian restaurant. The food was very interesting and most of it is pretty good. The menu is a little bit difficult to understand if you are not a native to Indian food. The staff is very helpful in explaining what everything is. However their recommendations were not so great. First off the complimentary soup was delicious. The dish had goat cheese. Not a big fan of goat cheese. The appetizer - sweet potato shakarkandi starfruit crispy okra was good. The only thing I didn't like was the red sauce on top of the starfruit. Mid-course - sweet pickle pork ribs sun-dried mango onion seed- meat falls off the bone and the sauce is delicious. Other notable mention is the eggplant bharta cornet and bone marrow. Main - beef tenderloin Kashmiri apricot mirchi korma leafy greens (staff recommended) was not good at all. I didn't like the sauce and the beef was dry. The leafy greens were too chewy. I would not recommend this. Red snapper would have been a better choice. Accompaniment - black dairy dal with naan is really good. The black garlic naan is my favorite. The chicken kulcha is also good. Dessert - makhan malai saffron milk rose petal jaggery brittle, almond. I got this beside the pictures looks really nice. This is light foam dessert. It was very interesting. If you like the taste of saffron you would like this. However their best dessert is the banana sticky cake.

I was surprised how filling the brunch 2 course was! The restaraunt is super clean and upscale- it was giving hotel restaurant vibes. I loved the complimentary starter- the pumpkin coconut drink was warming and tasty. I loved the paneer and remember to get some black garlic naan to really fill you up.

Potato Kofta Curry - so good.

We came here for brunch with our 10 year old son. The menu is a course menu, so make sure you are happy with the options provided for the time. The service was amazing and very attentive. The brunch started with cheese naan and soup, which was delicious. I chose the following for my course menu: - Papdi Chaat : this was delicious. Loved the flavors and crispness of the chaat. - Herb Sago Pancake : my son got this and I tasted it. It was amazing. Loved the flavors of Sago. - Potato Kofta Curry : this was so good. I ate it with the naan, but just the plain curry was great too. - Uttapam : my son had the uttapam. It was ok. Not a fan of mushrooms in the uttapam. - Black daal with naan : yummy. - Makhan Malai : this is their signature dessert. I'm generally not a big fan of malai, but the dessert tasted very light and good. - Doda Barfi with tart : this was better than the Malai Makhan for me. Overall, a great place for Indian food with a twist. You don't get the traditional dishes, and I love the creativity of the items. Highly recommend it. Just be aware it's a course menu.

This place is basically omakase, but for Indian/Asian fusion! I'll be honest, I was definitely doubtful if this place was worth the $100 per person, but I left 100% confident that it was. Each dish was so meticulously planned, with such unique flavor that it left me wanting more no matter what I chose. These are all preplanned dishes, and you get to choose which combination you want depending on if you select 3 course or 4 course. At the start, they give you an appetizer on the house, which is some warm pumpkin soup blend with blue cheese naan bites on the side. I was super doubtful at first, but this was so good. I had to ask for seconds! As for the main dishes, I would highly recommend getting the Daal with Black Garlic Naan! This is a must get, it was absolutely delicious. The chili crab was also very surprising. Everything was very unique and had hints of Chinese, and Indian fusion. I was very pleasantly surprised and I would definitely come back. It takes a lot for me to be full, and I left Indian accent super satisfied. This place deserves 5 stars not only for the food, but excellent service as well

This restaurant is absolutely AMAZING! The service, the experience and the food. We dined here while in town for an offsite and we did the courses and I had the dumplings, shrimp, branzino and banana cake omg I was just in awe by the flavors and how amazing everything taste. I cannot wait to return and please thank you for the wonderful service. I didnt get photos of everything due to me being so in awe of the food!

We went there after a Broadway show and I was kind of annoyed because they called to make sure we were on time . They were also pushy re getting the orders in . But then we got our food . It was yummy and innovative and so fun . Our server was lovely and got us a complimentary dessert to make up for the order rush. She gave us some fantastic recs and we had a fantastic meal ! Ambience was great and the restaurant is walking distance from Broadway . Would eat here again when in town !!

Everything was excellent. A bit on the pricey side but well worth it. Great service, phenomenal food. Only thing I wouldn't get again is the pork ribs. Standouts were the ghee roast lamb, lamb dahi vada, and paneer entree

Excellent Spot. Very interesting take on the Indian cuisine. Although some dishes left me scratching my head a little bit. We came here for a business lunch. The 3 course tasting is second to none. The atmosphere is very posh with coat check at the door and quiet service with all the servers doing everything quietly and precisely as if the well choreographed military operation. :) The dishes are very tasty but Sweet Pickle Pork Ribs although excellent puzzles me still. Had a 3 course: Sweet Pickle Pork Ribs, Baked Barramundi with side of Kashmiri Morel Pulao Barfi Treacle Tart. All melting on your tongue like the best dishes should.

Indian Accent in Midtown is one of the best Indian restaurants in NYC featuring innovative Indian cooking. We came for brunch which features a starter course, second course and accompaniment. They offered an amuse bouche to start the meal which was cheese filled dumpling and broth. We ordered the pao bhaji with ricotta vada and lime leaf butter pao, dried fenugreek papdi chaat, and sweet pickle pork ribs to start. For the second course we all had the uttapam filled with curry leaf lamb with sides of black garlic naan. The food was elegantly presented, generously portioned and delicious. We have often left brunch in NYC feeling underwhelmed and still-hungry, but our experience at Indian Accent was quite the opposite. We were super impressed by all the dishes and were stuffed by the end of our meal. We can't wait to come back for lunch or even dinner when the occasion presents itself

A little corner of London magic right here in Hell's Kitchen!…read more If you've ever stood on a rainy London street, desperate for a bowl of proper Northern Indian food, you can stop romanticizing -- Jaz Indian Cuisine on Hell's Kitchen has that exact magic, and it's right here in Manhattan. The star of the show is Jaz herself -- the owner, hostess, and bartender all rolled into one wonderfully warm, charming British woman who somehow makes you feel like you've been a regular for years within thirty seconds of walking through the door. She's the kind of host who remembers how you like your chai and makes the whole room feel like her living room. Now, the food. The Chana Masala is deeply spiced, rich with tomato and chickpeas, the kind of dish that makes you question every mediocre version you've had before. The Saag is silky, fragrant, and genuinely soulful -- spinach that actually tastes like something. And the Onion Kulcha? Pillowy, caramelized, absolutely yummy -- the kind of bread you'll be tearing into long after you're full. The flavors here are the real thing -- bold, layered, and unapologetically authentic. This isn't watered-down, please-everyone Indian food. This is the genuine article, executed with care and a distinctly British-Indian sensibility that you rarely find outside of London. Every dish tastes like someone's nana's recipe, if that nana happened to be a brilliant chef. Do yourself a favor: add some spice to your life and get yourself to Jaz Indian Cuisine.
