excellent food, service, consistency healthy options ... highly recommend .............

FOOD: Food was great, the portion size was huge and the quality of the food felt decent. there's lots of different options to choose from, and i was given a hefty protein portion. I love Naya for their toppings, even more than the meat or main course. The choices are excellent - like Toum, Lebanese pickes, picked turnips and on and on. I always order online and pick it up to avoid the line. But, if we go earlier or later, for lunch, picking these things would be a pleasure as well. Healthy, quality, fresh Mediterranean options for a fast casual experience is where Naya thrives. The location in Midtown East is a popular lunch spot for all the folks working in the area. You can choose from a salad, bowl or wrap base, then select your protein and toppings. I got a grain bowl with chicken kebab, pickled turnips, pickles, cucumber, and hummus. It was delicious and filling for my lunch. The pita that comes on the side was also fresh and the perfect hand held size. It gets crowded during the weekday lunch rush, so I recommend ordering ahead! read more

come here once a month and it's never a miss, friendly staff. Very good food for an affordable price.

Very nice choices and good food, but the service moves you so quickly because of the rush during lunch, the portion is so small. For example, when you pick the dressing, the one quick squirt because they are moving fast is next to nothing and by the time you ask, they are already checking you out. This is fine if you're in a rush and care more about speed than quality. read more

Pickup at this location is always chaotic. You can order ahead, and it's still not waiting on the shelf so you have to fight a crowd to ask the employee to grab it. But Naya is always consistent food wise so it's a hit regardless of the pickup process. Lunch time in Midtown is nuts so I always order ahead and come later than my pickup estimate to avoid as much waiting as I can. The line can be out the door sometimes for those who order in person which who has time for that. I also get a little bit of anxiety when I have ordered at Naya in person because they want you to pick out your ingredients so quickly - ordering on the app is easier all around. My go to order: -Naya Bowl (chicken shawarma, vermicelli rice, feta cheese, spicy green sauce, fresh cucumber, pickled turnips, cucumber & yogurt, onion-parsley sumac mix, chopped lettuce, tour garlic whip - my fav, tomatoes, hummus, and lemon tahini) -Pita (always) The nice thing about Naya is I can typically split my meal into two servings because it's a hefty size. Now I'm hungry - maybe I'll get Naya for lunch tomorrow. :o) read more

I've been working in the city and I always like to splurge on lunches here because I don't get an opportunity to have such a wide variety at my gig in Westchester. I was looking for something healthy and light, with lots of flavor, and stumbled upon Naya. I love Mediterranean cuisine so this was right up my alley. My food arrived quickly, warm and packaged with care. I was excited to try everything. Kibbe - I only ordered one because i thought it was price per order. I was disappointed to only have received one because it was really good. Three would have been perfect. Falafel - I ordered four of these because the description was clear that the price was per piece. These were also very good. They have a contrasting texture with a crispy outside and moist-ish inside. Falafel are usually dry asf but these were perfect and tasted even better with their sauces. Naya Roll - I opted for the kafta lamb, with hummus, you garlic whip, lettuce, feta, pickled Lebanese cukes, onion/parsley sumac mix and kalamata olives. The online ordering description states that you can add 1-7 additional toppings so I maxed out. Unfortunately, not all of my toppings made it. I received no lettuce and despite the ticket stating that the roll contained both hummus and the garlic whip, they must not put much on because the wrap was very dry. The meat was dry, there was no discernable sauce. I was quite disappointed because the flavor was really good and had there been more moisture, it would have been exceptional. I'm sure if I ordered in person, I would have had more control over the amount of sauce added but that's a tip for next time. Toum Garlic Whip - this sauce is for garlic lovers. It's so light and full of concentrated garlic flavor without being too overpowering. I could literally put that isht on everything! Spicy Green Sauce - another really great tasting sauce. I kind of want to try all of their sauces now. All in all, the food was OK. It could have been so much better, considering how flavorful everything is. My only gripes are how stingy they are with their sauces and the missing items from my custom roll. I will definitely try them out again but will make sure that I either ask for extra spread in my roll or just buy extra sauces (which I kind of shouldn't have to but love to do anyway) read more

Stopped in here for lunch. Place was clean, set up like most linear type places. See menu, start your order and then zoooom right on down the line to the cashier! Food was tasty and plentiful. I combo chicken and lamb and was not disappointed! Service was polite and efficient! And the prices were very reasonable! I look forward to my next meal here!!! read more

An average spot to get quick Mediterranean food. I know good shawarma and this place doesn't come close to the level that the shawarma should be at. Shawarma should be in big long pieces and not shriveled up sad looking strands of meat. The shawarma was bland (lacking any hint of flavor), and was not hot. This place could be a 5 star if they kept their meat hot and added a bit of flair to their meats. The service is fine. All things being said, I will keep looking for the next good shawarma spot. read more

NAYA - Naya Bowl - Mediterranean Near Me - New York, New York

Bad food cart shawarma at high Grand Central prices. Servers throw the bowls together like they are throwing out garbage. Pass.

Service: 4/5 Food: 3.5/5 I like that since everything is custom, your order actually comes out right. Pick up area is right in the front so the process was easy. Saw lots of bags, so it seems they're quite popular. What I Ordered: - Fatayer: kinda sour - Quinoa Bowl: standard portion for the price, tho they give lots of what ever base you choose- I didn't finish my quinoa - Chicken Shawarma: under seasoned, so mix with sauces are for, veggies are good. - Cabbage Slaw: minty - Sumac Onions: didn't like the cilantro (I'm one of those people), otherwise fine - Toum (garlic whip): thick + fragrant, makes me feel a little greasy? - Hummus: standard read more

had a wonderful experience at this restaurant! I come to this shop at least two times per week. The standout feature is definitely the quality of the food--everything tasted incredibly fresh and vibrant. It's rare to find a spot that manages to make dishes that are both delicious and genuinely healthy, leaving you feeling satisfied rather than weighed down. The service was equally impressive. The staff is friendly and welcoming, creating a great atmosphere from the moment you walk in. Plus, they are remarkably efficient, so you aren't left waiting long for your meal. read more

It's been a while since I've gone to Naya. Line is usually out the door. But lucky for me, no line and I have wanted to see what's changed. Nothing really has but the container which is so much better than that shallow plate they gave before. The bowl makes it easier to mix your stuff up if you like. I ordered the chicken kebab bowl with most choices. Very fresh! Love the baba ganoush and garlic! The accompanying pita bread is soft and always tastes like it was baked 30min items before I order. Never goes wrong. Veggie lovers, this is your place. read more

My co-worker constantly raves about how good Naya is to the point I had to check it out. The ordering flow is very similar to other build-it-yourself bowls where you can select a protein, carb source and supplement with a variety of toppings. What I enjoyed most about my experience was that you can select as many topping as you want and they don't skimp you if you ask for more. The quality of the food was fresh and light yet filling. I decided to go with white rice, chicken shawarma + all topping and a side of pita which they give everyone. The workers were very nice and the price is cheap for the amount of food you get. Definitely a good spot for a quick lunch. read more

Delicious - very tasty. but online ordering is consistently past the expected delivery time and line in store is long. Restaurant is clean.

Another place with that build it your own way concept. It has lots of variety to choose from. NAYA has a Lebanese and Mediterranean theme. Falafel, hummus, and tabbouli are a few things here. There's also the ability to choose your meal as a bowl or a sandwich. Certainly you've been to a restaurant with this style, as they seem to be everywhere. It usually involves national chains and Mexican food. This however is Lebanese and Mediterranean food though. Everything is made to order as you go through the line and tell the person how to make it. There's a choice of getting it in a bowl, a salad, or a roll. It's about $7 for an entree. They have vegetarian friendly options. Choose a protein of either meat like chicken, or vegetarian like falafel. Then you choose the sauces and toppings. I stopped in here last week and got the falafel. The roll is good when eating it on the go. I had it with the tahini. Then it was topped with lots of vegetables It has lots of healthy but quickly made choices. Lots of classic favorites like falafel. The line moved pretty fast and they make your order pretty fast too. read more

I usually get catered food for lunch for the office. You can't go wrong from here as it's for vegans, vegetarians, and non- vegetarians. I'm not sure if that have fish, but they have other meats. I heard that if you don't get it catered, you can't really pick and choose how much food you can get and where you want it in the bowl. I enjoy it thoroughly when it's catered, and so do my colleagues. No complaints from anyone. The food is freshly made and all the veggies are so good! All the spices and condiments are made well. When they cater, it comes on time for the most part. Everything is neatly packaged, and it comes with bowls + utensils. read more

First time trying Naya even though I've been working in the area for a couple of years now. The line was definitely out of the door when I got there during the lunch rush. I would go back. read more

I periodically find myself in Midtown East for work; I usually bring my own lunch from home, but occasionally I change it up and explore some of the eateries in the area. Being midtown, finding food is not an option, and when one of my colleagues recommended Naya to me, I figured there was no harm in checking it out, so off I went. The best way I can describe Naya is that it's like Chipotle but with Mediterranean food instead of Mexican. Think grains, rice, hummus, babaganoush, tzatziki, falafel, etc. Also similar to Chipotle, as you make your way down the line you keep adding to your meal until you reach the end. You start by choosing either a bowl, salad, or wrap, and then add a number of toppings and such to customize. The few times I have gone, I've always had a bowl - and since I'm a fan of the dips and spreads I usually pile those on. They also add a piece of pita upon checkout - a nice (and welcome) touch. I was also impressed with how organized everything was - things like napkins, cutlery, and bags were all within easy reach. Service was fast and friendly - they operate like a well-oiled machine, which is needed since this place gets packed during the lunch rush (I've heard lines can go out the door). Overall, I was impressed with Naya; they serve tasty, quality food and are a great option for lunch in the midtown area. read more

Another great lunch from Naya -- I ordered here on Seamless and had a 35-45 minute wait (I received notification via email). I love being able to customize my orders which means that I can have a lot of variety. Today, I had seasonal greens with chicken shawarma, baba ganoush, chopped romaine, tomatoes, cabbage, pickles, turnips, onions, and jalapeños. My order wasn't quite ready when I got there, but it came a short time later -- and the guy looking for orders was good about looking for it. I will say that standing in line allows one to look at the options and then decide -- but the line on weekdays is always very long. read more

Naya is alright - I was on a shawarma kick for a time and I stumbled across this establishment. It appeared to be kind of expensive for the couple of times i ate their pita rolls. I will say though it is packed inside as it is indeed a popular lunch spot. For me, I am looking for something where the shawarma is bursting with flavor and this one is good for starters. I will likely try their food again to try one of their bowls as I see many people carrying bowls out of their restaurant. Perhaps then I will update this review. I know they are successful because a Naya is opening nearby where I frequent in NJ. Good luck! read more
