This is my new go-to place for bahn mi and bahn bao. Once again, I give credit to Yelp for helping me find a great spot. Le Bledo is a shiny clean establishment where you place your orders at the counter. Service is excellent here. For our first visit we went with the chicken banh mi sandwiches. Upon an excellent bread, these were delicious with quality chicken. I also ordered a side called a deep fried banh bun. I loved this baby. Crispy with a tasty delightful filling. I hope Le Bledo's online menu is out of date because it currently does not show this item, only the steamed banh bao. Le Bledo also offers an assortment of pre-made dishes for take-out. We will be back, there's lots more food to explore here.

I've been craving a true bánh mì for months, so while I was in the area, I decided to check out Le Bledo Eatery--and they definitely did not disappoint. The bánh mì was incredibly fresh and bursting with flavor, exactly what I'd been hoping for. The eatery itself is cute and cozy, making it a perfect spot to grab lunch with coworkers or friends. The service was also wonderful. The young lady who took my order was friendly, welcoming, and helpful, which made the experience even better. Although this location is a bit of a drive from where I live, it was absolutely worth it. I'll definitely be back whenever I'm in the area again!

We had heard good things about Le Bledo and stopped by today for a casual lunch. We started off with summer rolls which were pretty great. However, what really stole the show was the bbq pork bahn mi and the bun rieu (pork and crab noodle soup). The bahn mi was on the most amazing bun, and the pork was so flavorful and juicy. I also don't eat Pho due to it being made from beef broth so I have been looking for an alternative--the bun rieu was just that! The crab was throughout the whole soup and the noodles were the perfect consistency. The pork was on the bone and very tender. The service was incredible! The server/possibly the owner saw my husband and I share our bun rieu, and offered to bring us an extra bowl and spoon so we can split our soup. So kind! I will definitely be coming back here, especially because it's pretty local to me!

Been going here for the past few years and enjoy just stopping in for a quick bite with a bowl of pho. It's more cafeteria style setting, so you order up front and the food is brought out to you. The basil and sprouts are in a bag, so definitely caters more to takeout. They have a number of prepared foods that you can grab and go. What I recently learned is they stop serving in the dining area a half hour before they close, which I found frustrating since the pho doesn't take that long to come out and I can eat it in before they close.

Dropped in based on the great reviews. We decided on crispy shrimp n pork rolls, a Rib Eye Steak and Cheese sandwich and chicken pho soup which were delicious. The chicken breast was really good. Nice traditional music in the back ground and friendly staff. Great prices and perfect for lunch.

I've only had Le Bledo for breakfast but their food looks great. I tend to order the Vietnamese coffee and empanadas. The empanadas are a nice snack size with the filling of an egg roll. I believe it's beef and it's my go to item.

I ordered Bun Thit Nuong (Vermicelli dish) with grilled pork, i LOVED the savory, fresh lemon grass forward seasonings which is not common anymore, most restuarants use oyster sauce and sugar. However, the seasonings suace was a bit sour for my taste but the sauce was not needed since the pork was very flavorful.

What an amazing authentic Vietnamese hidden gem! Food is delicious, service is fast and friendly, and there's lots of seating inside. Prices are very justified for how delicious and authentic the food is! Definitely will be our go-to for Vietnamese food cravings.

Almost never venture out to Springfield, but Kaiser sent us out there. Wanted to check out this Viet deli /restaurant on way home. The display of to-go snacks was fun to pursue, lots of yummy treats. We decided to order from menu, veggie Banh mi and bun rieu with Che for dessert. All was good, not deli cheap prices but reasonable. Nice spot for easy carry out Viet food.

Consistently good broth and fast service. Mini market of other Vietnamese foods and dessert. All very well prepared and delicious. Ample seating and staff does not rush the customer out the door.

I'm picky about pho, as I always compare it to my mom's or my own. This place has fantastic pho! I also love they have an option for a pick 2, which is perfect to have a little banh mi and a small bowl of pho. They also have some pre-made Viet snacks and small dishes to buy as well. Nice spot with fast service and fresh ingredients.

Summer roll ($5.50)- the vermicelli was freshly made and warm when served, I personally enjoy a thicker sauce with more of a peanut taste. But overall very good! Banh mi ($7.95)- my husband loved this! The bread was slightly toasted and also warm when served Pho small ($13.50)- this includes 2 meats, and we chose the brisket and meatballs. Veggies were served in a bag on the side. Soup was delicious. Loved what we ordered, and we recommend trying this place!

Highly recommend this place! The spring rolls are some of my favorite, highly recommended. The way they marinate the pork belly is so good.

Capo Italian Deli - Old Town Alexandria…read more I reviewed our new Old Town neighbor - Capo Italian Deli - early in 2026. Time for an update. The deli is outstanding. Taking up a tiny footprint on the N. Washington Avenue thoroughfare, a few seconds from King Street, the deli delivers both hot and cold deli entrees, soft drinks, and salads. There's maybe half a dozen tables inside and a couple of tables outside, but from what I have seen thus far, most of the trade is with carry-out service, drawing from the excellent reputation Capo brought with it as it arrived in Old Town (the restaurant has siblings in Shaw NW, and Western Market in the District, Tyson's Corner in Vienna, VA, Annapolis and Potomac, MD). Fresh Philly rolls for those seeking a traditional hero sandwich, with go-to seasonings and all of the essential protein groups. My favorite is a large half roast beef half turkey with lettuce, tomato, and mayo (I skip the Italian dressing, which is part of the default, and I skip the cheese). I can and have made this $18 sandwich last three meals (so I ask them to cut the sandwich into three pieces), and the ingredients stay fresh for the next 24 hours. The last time I did this the sandwich fed me from 4:45 a.m. to 9 p.m., as I served as an election officer at one of Alexandria's polling places. Neat, trim, and completely satisfying. Just a point of concern: given its location, the opportunity to double-park while picking up an order seems to be just too tempting. This location, however, cannot over the long term sustain double-parkers. The deli is about 100 feet from the intersection of King Street and N. Washington Street. There is a dedicated lane for cars seeking to park adjacent to the deli. And then there are two northbound lanes on N. Washington Street. That's it - just two lanes serving one of the busiest intersections in Old Town. If a delivery-service car pulls up alongside one of the parked cars, all hell will break loose by drivers who suddenly find a delivery vehicle double-parking in front of Capo, leaving but one northbound lane open for however long it takes for the delivery agent to gather the order and beat it out of there. This happens with remarkable frequency, starting at about 11 a.m. and running throughout the day. That's not going to make good neighbors of Capo's nearby shops. Alexandria Parking has its work cut out for it, but here the rule prohibiting double-parking has to be enforced - it's both a safety issue and an issue of common courtesy. Doesn't matter if you think you'll just be in and out of the deli in seconds. We know it doesn't work that way, not always, and here - not even often. More often than not the double-parker will be creating a traffic hazard just by parking alongside a parked car in front of the deli. Please, don't do this.

This review is based solely on the customer service I received over the phone…read more I had placed a $62 order through DoorDash and chose Capo even though there are plenty of other deli spots nearby, because they normally make really good sandwiches. Unfortunately, the customer service this time was extremely disappointing. I called with a simple question about the bread since I have braces and needed something soft. The person who answered the phone was rude and dismissive, acting as if my call was an inconvenience. When I asked which bread was the softest, he cut me off to say they were "super busy" and could only change the bread on one sandwich, not both. I asked again for clarification, and he continued sounding irritated and uninterested in helping. He repeated that they had a line of people and needed to know which one sandwich I wanted to change. For the amount I paid, the lack of basic courtesy and willingness to answer a straightforward question was unacceptable. This will be my last time ordering from Capo in Alexandria, VA.
