We stopped by on a Friday close to noon. My husband had been here in the past and recommended it. They have a varied menu with lots of drink and chip options. I ordered the Philly cheesesteak with no hot peppers or tomatoes with a side of onion rings. The sandwich was average, but the onions were cooked nice. The breading on the onion rings were a bit much. My husband ordered Miami Nice and he said it was very good- tender chicken, lots of flavor. I also got their lemonade and fresh baked cookies. Both were quite good. The staff was nice and we did not feel rushed to ordered quickly as it took some time to review the menu. Stumbled upon this place after leaving St James, very low-key place as it's tucked between some collision shops. Eggs were made fresh and loved that the prices were very reasonable. It cost me $9 for 3 eggs potato and bacon. I definitely will be visiting more often and trying some other things as well read more

Truly a hidden gem as it's tucked away near the St James Gym and the surrounding business parks. Park Place Gourmet is a Korean Owned Deli that features many sandwiches, soups, salads, along side with a small section for chips/bottled drinks. It's a great place if you want something quick to eat and this place doesn't disappoint. Since the location for the area is limited, I don't recommend going here to sit down as many people like to take their food to go. The food comes out quick luckily and it's made in house too. The staff is also friendly and it shows that they will recognize you if you are a regular. I got their cheesesteak with fries. They have this as a daily combo that you can also get a 20oz drink too. I think it was around $15 for what I paid for but it's worth it as everything is made fresh. Will I be coming back? I think this place needs a lot of love as they have been around for almost as I have been alive. It's a wonderful place to get food for an affordable price! read more

The place seems to have been recently renovated, and we were surprised at our clean, bright, and spacious it was! We came here for a late lunch, and we ordered: +a Philadelphia Steak & Cheese - provolone cheese-melted over thinly sliced beef, onions, and mayo on a baguette - you can also ask for hot peppers, lettuce, and tomatoes; filled to the max with generous amounts of beef; this was super juicy and the bread was fluffy; this seemed to be the most popular choice to order of all the patrons that were come in +a Chicago Prime Burger - topped with choice of cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, and mayo; we opted out of the bacon and chose cheddar as our choice of cheese; the patty was a little dry, but this was a large burger and was piled high with the ingredients +a side of fries - battered, crispy, and tasty! +a side of onion rings - large and crispy, these were tasty! +lemonade and fruit punch from the drink dispenser for our beverages I really liked how the sides were fresh-out-of-the-fryer. Love this deli. It's one of the most popular in the area. If you're in the mood for a great steak and cheese sub, here's where you want to go. They have a variety of soups and sandwiches. It's a bit of a "hole in the wall," but that's where often the best spots to go are. Located off of Industrial Road, it does fit in with the area. Parking is limited, but for breakfast or lunch this works. It is a clean and well organized restaurant. Tables are simple but comfortable. They probably should add a tv in the dining room, but aside from that it's really nice. All of the staff are friendly and polite. Wait times are minutes at best. I wasn't even hungry until I finished up at a job a few doors down. I was putting my tools in my van and smelled some delicious food nearby! I looked around and found this deli! I walked in and immediately noticed how large this deli is. Very clean and organized! Seats 44 easily and comfortably! I got the western omelette breakfast and a apple juice! Food was very fresh and plenty of veggies and meat in the omelet! The home fries are on point and the toast was really good! A definite do again sometime for lunch! Got the San Fran sandwich- havarti was white and crusty as if it OK was just sitting in open air. The turkey meat was Oscar Meyer quality. There was a teaspoon of avocado on the sandwich. Ah the PPG. One of my favorite places ever. Mostly because I worked about 100 yards away. I used to come here 3x a week and the food is really good, especially GYRO DAY! If you work in the area, its a good spot with some friendly people and a lot of menu choices. The daily specials are what I typically got, OR I'd stop in for breakfast. After I stopped working in the area I did go back once, but for industrial park delis it is typically a matter of convenience, and PPG's food is good enough to enjoy multiple times a week if its convenient to you. There were dozens and dozens of regular customers like myself who ate there all the time. Dropped in before a meeting across the street and had time to grab breakfast. It was super cheap, about $3, for a "Little Egg," scrambled egg and two pieces of sausage on wheat toast. The bread was stale, the eggs were a little overdone and there was no option for something a little more healthful like, say, turkey sausage. But it got the job done. The staff was friendly and the service was fast. The place didn't seem very clean, but if you saw the strip it's located in, you'd be surprised there aren't wild animals running around. read more

I went to Park Place to wait on a rainy day while my car seat was being fixed. I ordered a breakfast sandwich bacon, cheese, egg on white toast and it was just the way I like it. The people are very nice and efficient. The tables were kept clean and the floors mopped and swept. There was plenty of seating and the men's 'room was also clean. It is in a out of the way place on industrial road. Most of the customers it seems are hard working delivery men, truck drivers, etc. who work nearby. What I really liked is that there is plenty of parking and a lot of seating. Most people get their food to go, and so the main seating room is not crowded. The cook is fast and it only takes a few minutes for your food to be ready. I later tried a cheeseburger sub with everything and that was very good. I didn't get fries but heard several customers comment they were they best ever. For those who live near there it is worth checking out. Although it is a long drive for me from Alexandria I will occasionally go back because I like food that is grilled like fried ham & cheese, grilled cheese, bacon, egg, cheese, hamburgers, etc. There is also a hot food bar which I did not try. Generous sized lunch diner in an industrial zone, most likely catering to the work lunch crowd in the neighborhood, definitely not something that the average person passing by would notice unless they were doing business / training in the area. Appears to be in the category of many similar Korean-owned American diners in industrial / corporate zones in this region. Order at the counter and bring your food to the dining area. They even have multiple tables with only one chair so they are very well catered to the solo diner on lunch break. There's some sort of lunch buffet with basic Chinese-American pickings, didn't try this because it was too early in the day. There's an enormous refrigerator-wall full of bottled beverages reminding me of a Wawa / Sheetz station. Also, notice some quirky patriotic messages, such as the breakfast menu being labelled "Good Morning America", as well as an obligatory large US flag mounted on the wall (don't see this very often at Korean owned places). Milano: It's advertised as "baguette" bread, but looks more like a very soft hoagie roll with the same soft texture throughout, which I found somewhat sad. The Italian meat and provolone are .. boring, safe, no exotic aromas. Anchorage Away: Portion size somewhat small, the crab cakes are just okay. While the sandwiches are not mind blowing, I'm not "mad" at it, and they do offer a very generous variety for the picky American customer - or like myself, a suburban foodie craving irony from time to time. I would certainly rather eat this than look for a chain fast food restaurant, if I was in the area and needed to buy lunch, prices are quite good for the quality you get. I wouldn't call this place gourmet, but it's approaching gourmet prices. Come on. There are fountain and bottled drinks and the food is already made or can be made in less than two minutes. I've only ever seen people get food to go here. It's another place that's benefiting from it's location, being surrounded by several large businesses. With that being said, don't expect cucumber sandwiches here, but if you want a decent cheese and some fries it beats nearby fast food places. I may try them for breakfast one morning. read more

I really miss Park Place Gourmet. They have a huge breakfast menu, lunch menu and Chinese food menu. I've only ever gotten breakfast and lunch there but it doesn't disappoint! For breakfast, try their "steak, egg and cheese" sandwich. It's heavenly! Their grilled chicken sandwich is delicious but their steak and cheese is awesome! If he asks you if you want everything on it, say yes. Unless you don't like that incredibly delicous hot pepper hoagie spread that he puts on it. That just makes it magical! read more

Super underwhelmed on my first and probably last visit. Got the cheese steak so many reviewers seem to rate highly and it was bland and without any sort of distinction. Even the onions weren't properly cooked. I asked for everything on it expecting the hot and sweet peppers but didn't see or taste any. I also ordered Onion Rings. These came frozen out of the box, probably from Sysco, and had that sort of cornmeal exterior. Also utterly tasteless and not worth what they charged ($2.99). The printed menu was descriptive but the in-store board menu was a little overwhelming with the amount of choices.
