The Pho recipe on the wall.

Pho Cyclo was a fantastic experience! The food was absolutely delicious--fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. The staff were incredibly attentive and made sure everything was just right throughout the meal. I'll definitely be coming back!

I've been eating here at Pho Cyclo since 1996.. they seem to have added a little bit more food choices on their menu and now have desert options which will bring up their revenue. I have been here right after they renovated their dining space and they have always been a great place to get Pho. I dined-in and even ordered two more dishes for my kids on my way out. Definitely I will come back here to Pho Cyclo... oh and they now have Beers on tap and Wines.

I thought this place was ok! We tried this place since we heard that had catering and we have an event where we may have considered them as that option. I got the mi xao tom and we also tried the chay giờ chạy & gọi cuốn tôm. I liked the chạy giờ but the peanut butter sauce for the goi cuốn didn't have enough peanut butter. As for my friends & partner, they had different dishes and said it was on the blander side or didn't have enough meat (pho specifically). So im not sure if we'd go back but the restaurant is nice & clean!

This place has been around for as long as I have (and probably longer). Broth is middle of the road in terms of both savoriness and sweetness -- it's pretty balanced and enjoyable from the first sip to the last. I really liked how you could get a "small" even though it was still too much for me to finish. (Leftover pho makes for delicious breakfast the next day! They very nicely packed it up for me.) The chicken from the Cyclo 5 Flavors was well-flavored but a little tougher from the grill. The shrimp rolls are a nicely sized portion and very crispy. I have no qualms about the price especially in this economy and I like how it's not insanely busy (especially compared to Eden Center). Parking is super easy in this lot.

Came by dinner and ordered large pho (with eye round and tendon). The broth was very light. And the soft tendon pieces were noticeably larger than other pho restaurants I've been to. Service was quick and friendly! I would come back for another bowl.

Came to try Pho Cyclo because it won the NOVA pho wars 2025! All the food was good but nothing especially good. The broth here is bolder and darker than what I'm used to. Also $1-2 more than my go-to spot. Ordered two phos and a vermicelli salad (which turned out to be my fav)

Checked out Pho Cyclo in Falls Church, VA. This has become my go-to lowkey pho spot in the DMV. They give such a generous amount of meat in the pho, the staff is always friendly, and it's pretty affordable considering prices these days.

Small space, even with 6 ppl - tables had to be pushed together - cozy ambiance. Quite extensive Viet menu - not just pho. We settled on bun/vermicelli noodle bowls and bun bo hue soup. All the dishes well executed, nice portion size. Only exceptions: - The goi cuon/summer roll only had shrimp - missing some pork slices. - The egg roll bit too crispy, close to brunt. Restaurant has been a staple in Yorktown center forever - good comfort Viet food.

We had the wings, lemonade, Singapore noodles, Hu Tieu and the beef pho dac beit. We also got an avocado smoothie and the short ribs. We loved everything except the pho. It was good, but just okay. Tasted old or overcooked. But that won't stop us from coming back. The ribs, wings, and Hu Tieu are a must try. They have lots of great dishes so I definitely recommend. Great service and very knowledgeable staff. Bonus, they have outdoor seating.

This review is only for the pho as that is the only thing I tried. I came to try this place out after hearing it won the best pho in Northern Virginia. I was left pretty disappointed. I would like to point out that the service was great and our server was nice. The pho however was extremely disappointing. The broth itself was good and I had no complaints but the amount of meat and veggies they give is pathetic!!! $18 for a bowl with like maybe four tiny thin slices of meat. Also, why skimp on the veggies??? The picture I included was before I even touched the bowl. I also ordered onions and vinegar on the side ($4) and they barely gave any onions either. I've gone to many pho restaurants but this one takes the award for the least amount of meat and veggies. The two other people that dined with me had their portions looking similar as well so it seems to be the standard.

Amazing pho at this cute spot with fast service. This was very flavorful pho. Highly recommend.

I live down the street so this place is our local go to spot. Most of time I'm ordering to go numerous time. Today while waiting for CVS Medication Refill; I sat down and had bowl of Pho Tai. Broth was very rich and good. Both servers were very friendly and check on me. Great service great food

I'm thinking that many people who come here know already what they want, because even before we cracked open our menus, the server was immediately at our table expecting us to place our order. When we told her we weren't ready yet, she left, but came back less than a minute later and then stood there waiting for us to place our order. So I ordered the Sullangtang, which is bone broth with brisket and noodles. JP ordered the Yukgaejang, a spicy red broth with veggies and flank steak. We also ordered the fried dumplings. I don't know if the fried dumplings were vegetable or pork, but they were very good, made even better with a delicious dipping sauce. As hoped, banchan was served with our meal, but was just cubes of daikon radish (kkakdugi) and kimchi. The kkakdugi and kimchi were fresh and tasty. Even if the Sullantang recipe is traditional, I was disappointed. The broth was thin and very bland. However, I was able to jazz it up and make it into a pretty good soup by adding spoonfuls of the Yukgaejang broth and the fried dumpling sauce, plus salt and pepper. The Yukgaejang, topped with crispy noodles, was the better of the two soups. It had a lively flavor and as billed on the menu, was indeed spicy. The menu is limited, almost exclusively vegetable and beef dishes, but there is a seafood pancake and whelk (mollusk) dish. No chicken or pork dishes. Overall, our experience was decent and we would certainly consider returning. Shin Chon has plenty of off-street parking.

It has become the definitive home base for several of my local groups, and for good reason. The "No Agenda - Just Coffee" Crowd Since October 2025, this has been the quarterly meeting point for a group I help organize (2 entire meetings so far!). We bring together a mix of IT-centric CxOs, startup founders, innovators, govtech, thought leaders, and industry insiders. The beauty of the space is that it handles the "no structure, no rules" vibe perfectly. We show up, grab pastries, and just hang out. It's a low-key break from the grind, and the staff handles the morning rush with impressive efficiency. The Sunday Morning Tactical Post-Game Every Sunday at 6:30am, Northside serves as the rally point for our F3 The Capital workout group. We split up--ruckers head one way, runners another--and we all converge back at the shop by 7:30am. There is nothing quite like hitting the patio after a solid session for coffee, tea, and a high-quality breakfast. The Menu and My Personal "Hack" I've been significantly more health-conscious this year, so I generally keep the order lean. My go-to is a standard drip or an Americano with exactly one pump of vanilla. If you are looking for a meal, the avocado toast and poached egg sandwiches are objectively excellent. However, if you want the best thing on the menu, order the cheddar chive scone and ask them to heat it in the oven. It is a game-changer. The Vibe It has a genuine neighborhood feel. You'll see a broad spectrum of people--from tech folks on laptops to workout groups and families. It even transitions into a great bar scene in the evenings. It's consistent, high-quality, and remains my top recommendation in Falls Church.

Despite an unassuming exterior, the atmosphere inside is almost magical with beautiful Korean decor and charming scripted wallpaper. Our waiter kindly reviewed the menu with us and made some recommendations when we let him know we were first-time visitors (and half of us were newer to Korean food), and we were all able to make choices we were very happy with. I chose the combination (beef, mussels, and shrimp) tofu soup, mild spicy, and was delighted with the flavor profile and consistency. To me, this was so perfectly flavored and comforting that the meat and seafood weren't even needed. Next time, I'd be content trying the mushroom soup! Our table also split a pancake with pork, which was also delicious. The pancake arrived after our main dishes, and I wish it had arrived first as some of us in the party were too full to enjoy it. Everyone else in our group ordered bulgogi, and those that did said it was delicious as well. My husband, who cooks bulgogi, was thrilled with it, and our friends who hadn't ventured further than Trader Joe's bulgogi were enchanted with the real thing. Overall, great experience and great prices for an absolutely delicious meal. I hope to come back and try more dishes!

The particular soup is soon dubu, which is silken or soft tofu stew. And it was a great flavorful soup. I went with medium heat which was good for me. Enough to have spice without overpowering. We went around 2p on a Saturday, and while busy it was not crowded. We had no wait. The small parking lot can get full, but a sign says you can park at the church parking lot across the street. Wooden tables all around in what is a much bigger space than you would expect from what you see on the outside. There are bigger combos for groups, or individual combos if you want the stew plus a protein (bulgogi, kalbi, jeyuk (spicy pork), etc). We each got a combo and split everything except our soups. We got kalbi and jeyuk. We also ordered a small kimchi pancake as appetizer. I will say the soup is great. Everything else, is just ok. The banchan offered 4 small dishes: traditional cabbage kimchi, cucumber kimchi, vinegary sliced radish, and sauteed bean sprouts. All were just ok, nothing special, and wish there were more banchans. The kimchi pancake was slightly overcooked, but nothing crazy. The kalbi was sliced very thin, and had good flavor. The jeyuk had good flavor. But quantity was not a lot for the kalbi or jeyuk. We ate well for a nice lunch for two. But it's overpriced. We did order a lot for a lunch, but we didn't get an unbelievable amount. And it came to $92.92 before tip for 2 people. I would probably rate 3.5 given the price level, but I'll round to 4. You can get a $15 lunch combo during the week. Or $18 individual combo and be perfectly fine. So maybe don't go crazy like we did.

I have to admit the quality has gone down a tiny bit (some of the food's a little dry, slightly smaller portions, namely the scallion pancake duck roll was mostly veggies instead of meat), but it's still a spot I really enjoy going to for some homey food. You can choose between thick and thin for your noodle soups and I honestly like both even tho I usually like thick noodles. Their soups are nice and brothy, not too rich which I like. On a mid-Saturday afternoon, the restaurant was about ¾ full. We started out with the Wonton Soup and the Spicy Wonton soup. The Wonton soup is just okay, but the Spicy Wonton Soup is wonderful and highly recommended. For another appetizer, we ordered the Scallion Pancake. It has a nice dense texture and I really liked it. It would've been even better if it came with a dipping sauce. We also ordered the pickled cabbage. It was good, though lacking seasoning. Our first entrée was ground pork in a delicious sauce accompanied by sprouts and thinly sliced cucumber (or was that zucchini?). Recommended! Our second entrée was a Pan Fried Beef Bun. The beef was flavorful but the bread was kinda dry. Our last entrée was the Beef Wraps. These were great! Who woulda thunk that beef and fresh carrots would go together so well?! Oh, the chili sauce in a jar on the table is extra tasty. At the end, before we got our check, we were given a plate with sliced cucumbers in a light tasty sesame chili sauce. Excellent! But the hot tea was an epic fail. It had no flavor whatsoever. Peeking inside the teapot, all I could see was a micro tiny tea bag floating or sort of sinking. One other thing I kinda don't want to bring up in light of the great food we enjoyed, but need to in the spirit of full disclosure, is to mention that A&J shares space in the building with several other businesses. The restrooms are common to all the businesses. A&J needs to lean hard on the property owner/manager to do a deep cleaning in those restrooms. I'll leave it at that.

Our server seemed a bit impatient and abrupt when taking our order (we asked how many spring rolls come in each order, and added beef meatballs to one of our pho orders), but we were mainly there for the food. The space itself is roomy, casual and comfortable, with tables spaced and seated far enough apart to not feel crowded. We started with the pork and taro spring rolls, which came out hot, cut in half, and impressively crispy! (Just as a heads up so you don't get scolded like we did - the pork and taro spring rolls come with two per order, and the price for both is a great deal compared to most pho establishments!) For our mains, we ordered three pho bowls and one dry noodle dish. The pho arrived warm, and adding bean sprouts cooled it down further rather than cooking them through. The dry noodle dish, on the other hand, was excellent in flavor, though also not very hot - likely due to the fresh vegetables (lettuce, tomatoes and cucumber) mixed in. Overall, a solid, filling meal, even if the service and the temperature of the food could be improved. Why we keep coming back: The Pho Sate is absolutely exceptional - we've tried this dish at countless Vietnamese restaurants over the years, and honestly can't find it done this well anywhere else. The broth is rich and flavorful with that perfect balance of spice and depth, the beef is always tender, and the fresh lettuce, herbs, and crispy garlic add amazing texture. But the real star? Their legendary roasted chili sauce (see photo) - that golden-orange chili oil is what dreams are made of! Savory, spicy, aromatic, and absolutely addictive. We've been eating this sauce for over a decade and it never gets old. If you love bold, authentic flavors, this alone is worth the visit. Consistently friendly and attentive staff - over all these years, the service has remained excellent. Why this deserves 5 stars: When you return to the same restaurant for over a decade, it's because they're doing everything right. The consistency in food quality, the authentic flavors, the warm hospitality - all of it has kept us coming back year after year. This isn't just good food; it's a place that's become part of our dining routine. Bottom line: After 10+ years as customers, we can confidently say this is the real deal.
