    Khao Soi

Delicious!!! I journeyed to the Pop-up district and decided to choose this place--and I am glad I did. I ordered the khao soi which was fantastic. It was so flavorful. The meal also made great leftovers. It came out reasonably fast. When I come back to this area, I plan to order the exact same thing. Recommend!

This a food stand inside Pop-Up food hall, at Eden Center. I tried their Kapow Moo Sub; minced pork sautéed in a chili garlic sauce, bell pepper and cilantro, served on rice, with an optional fried egg on top, very tasty.

The place had just opened and I wanted to try the place out. I had the khao soi. It was 17 dollars for it. The people got my order out really fast as it was early in the afternoon. I was shocked when I was the dish. The portion was incredibly small for that amount. For $17 I would expect a bigger proportion. I had ordered another dish around the area for $10 and it was more filling than the khao soi. The fast service was 5 stars and the dish itself is 4 stars. It was really nice and flavorful. I really enjoyed it. I just wish I had more.

Staffs are very friendly and supportive. Food was awesome, perfect Thai taste. Restaurant locate in Pop Up food hall, very clean and spacious.

Authentic Thai food! I've been dying for some Tom Kha and was so glad that they had it here. I came…read morefor a late lunch so I was basically the only person in the restaurant besides staff, so everything I ordered came out very quickly. I wasn't too hungry when coming in for a late lunch so I didn't get big plates. But I can 100% vouch for everything I ate. The Tom Kha was some of the best I have ever had! A slightly mild soup with chicken and coconut flavors (yummmm). I also ordered the mussels (I did not expect them to come in a broth since the menu says they are steamed) but they were surprisingly spicy and delicious. It came with some housemade chili sauce that was even spicier! There were like 7 mussels. Even though it was so spicy, the flavors were delicious so I bared through the spicy sauce. I ordered jasmine tea and it came as a packet of the jasmine tea with hot water. I would've loved it to be brewed loose leaf but that's ok. Overall, this place was delicious, and it was so cute! The decor inside doesn't give "Thai" but it's absolutely gorgeous and relaxing. There is a lot of seating as well and a whole parking lot.

I wouldn't say the inside gives off a Thai restaurant, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing. For starters, we ordered the duck wrap and the papaya salad. The duck wrap was interesting, but not sure if it was in the good way. The wrap tasted buttery, which was a little different than what I have had before, and the duck didn't really taste like duck and there wasn't much of it. The papaya salad was fine, but not the best I have had. It was a little bit spicy. For the main dish, I ordered the hang-over noodle (Khee Mao), which was I think their version of drunken noodles. I thought it was good, but it was definitely too spicy for my liking but that is my bad for not asking for a lower spice level. The noodles had a nice texture. I wouldn't say this is the best Thai place in NOVA, but I thought it was alright.

Flavors are authentic and the perfect balance of sweet spicy and sour. They also serve delicious cocktails. I had a tamarind cocktail which was to die for.

We got the crunchy rice with sour pork (naem khao thadaeu), pork shoulder (ping), fried catfish (patod), chicken pad thai (kua mee), and warm coconut milky dessert (bua loy). All the dishes were delicious but a bit more salty than Thai. Feels like a lot of fish sauces in all the dishes. The crunchy rice came with lettuce but ours were not the best lettuce. The fried catfish were nicely fried with a perfect coating. Definitely a dish to get. The pork shoulder is another dish to get. Nicely seasoned with sticky rice. Their version of pad thai is uniquely different than Thai. A bit more sweet but the lime makes it better. Wife wanted to try bua loy dessert. It is a warm sweet dessert that balanced out all the salty flavors of the dishes. Something to try as well. Flavor are still the same. The dishes we order were too much for 2 of us. My only complaint was the restaurant smelled like smoke when we walked in. Not the kind where there was a fire in the kitchen but more like someone smoking in the kitchen?
