Pikes kitchen was so good! They have an extensive menu- there is something for everyone. Cafe style where you order at the cashier and pick up your food at the front. The service is quickly and friendly. We really enjoyed the purple potatoes fries and musubi. Will definitely come back to try the other menu options! They have a large backyard area where kids can play- good hangout spot for large groups!

What I love the most about this place is you can order and get a little bit of everything in one order versus having to buy from a bunch of different venders at a food hall. We went later in the night, so it wasn't super busy but the food was really tasty and the portions were huge. I liked that you could customize the bao buns you wanted, so you could get a variety instead of just one kind. I loved the indoor/outdoor ambiance, they have an amazing outside fenced in grassy area with yard games which was such a nice surprise on a nice spring night. I will be going back again!

This place has such a long menu and so many options! I tried their bibimbop and it did not disappoint. There is plenty of seating and the staff were soo friendly! I highly recommend coming here if you're with a big group because there is something for everyone and plenty of space to chat. I can't wait to try more things from this menu!

I came here during their grand opening and tried a few dishes: - seafood udon - spicy pork bibimbap - baos - mont blanc black sesame - iced matcha coffee - iced pistachio coffee - potato shrimp - spam musubi If I were to go back, I'd definitely get the bibimbap, potato shrimp, and spams musubi. The potato shrimp is only good fresh since it's fried, so don't recommend if it's to-go! The spam musubi is HUGE and packed to the core. It can be considered an entree! It was so fulfilling. Their iced matcha & pistachio lattes contained strong coffee, so if you're into the sweeter coffees then consider other options! There are a lot of tables, so there will always be seats available. They also offer water cups if you don't want to buy a drink. Sadly, the seafood udon was on the fishy side, so I probably wouldn't get that again even though I'm a seafood lover.

Amazing food and amazing service! Really grateful for this wonderful new spot that opened up in Annandale near us. Taking over an old spot with expansive, seating, beautiful, outdoor area, and clean. It is like a food hall, where multiple restaurant menus combined in one kitchen. A fantastic menu with something for everyone, really impressed with how well each item was executed, showing that they have mastered their craft. We got the PF Chicken Sandwich, addicting fries, edamame, and vegan bulgogi hot stone bibimbap. Everything came out fresh, hot, tasting incredible! They have a little of everything, so whatever you're craving this place well knock it out. Plenty of parking in private lot in front! Great place for large parties, especially during the summer when the beer garden opens. Beautiful spot and great food! Thank you Sang!

This is a fast food Korean restaurant located in Annandale on Columbia Pike. It used to be a Korean chicken restaurant. Customers order on the kiosk and get notified via text when the food is ready. There are board/drinking games at the patio seating. Food menu has a good variety of noodles, rice, appetizers and beverages. I brought my two toddlers and sat at the patio where it's mostly empty during a Sunday evening. My toddlers were happy with the food, games and running around the patio. The wait was quick. I like the low key, casual vibe in the restaurant. Will recommend!

I was very pleased with how delicious the lunch Ramen was; all ingredients were fresh and cooked perfectly. This is a new restaurant which I'm glad to have tried, as food and the menu seems very well thought out and prepared. I'd recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a good lunch spot.

I'm thinking that many people who come here know already what they want, because even before we cracked open our menus, the server was immediately at our table expecting us to place our order. When we told her we weren't ready yet, she left, but came back less than a minute later and then stood there waiting for us to place our order. So I ordered the Sullangtang, which is bone broth with brisket and noodles. JP ordered the Yukgaejang, a spicy red broth with veggies and flank steak. We also ordered the fried dumplings. I don't know if the fried dumplings were vegetable or pork, but they were very good, made even better with a delicious dipping sauce. As hoped, banchan was served with our meal, but was just cubes of daikon radish (kkakdugi) and kimchi. The kkakdugi and kimchi were fresh and tasty. Even if the Sullantang recipe is traditional, I was disappointed. The broth was thin and very bland. However, I was able to jazz it up and make it into a pretty good soup by adding spoonfuls of the Yukgaejang broth and the fried dumpling sauce, plus salt and pepper. The Yukgaejang, topped with crispy noodles, was the better of the two soups. It had a lively flavor and as billed on the menu, was indeed spicy. The menu is limited, almost exclusively vegetable and beef dishes, but there is a seafood pancake and whelk (mollusk) dish. No chicken or pork dishes. Overall, our experience was decent and we would certainly consider returning. Shin Chon has plenty of off-street parking.

We ordered a spread: gyoza with sweet and spicy sauce, kimchi pancakes, fried shrimp, soy garlic wings, takoyaki, LA galbi, and jjampong with noodles... plus way too many drinks. We arrived early and scored prime seats by the bar, which turned out to be perfect, especially once the night shifted into more of a club vibe with a DJ. The energy was great, and most of the food was surprisingly delicious -- everything hit except the jjampong. We were expecting udon noodles, but it came with thin, clear noodles instead, and the flavor was a bit off for us. That said, the staff handled everything perfectly, and it didn't take away from the rest of the experience. Between the food, drinks, and nightlife atmosphere, we had an awesome time and will definitely be back. If you're looking for a spot that delivers on both taste and fun without compromise, this is it.

From my understanding, this place is owned by the former owner of Khan, which was a well respected establishment in the area. I've only hung out upstairs, but it's a calmer vibe than a lot of the other hotspots in Annandale. There's no DJ and it's not super crowded, but the music is good and it truly is a place to just drink and hang out with your friends. The food here is actually phenomenal. From skewers to shareables like the potato pancake to entrées like the spicy creamy pasta, I've been very satisfied with it all. But really, what tops the food is the service. We've had the pleasure of being served by some of the nicest people, Bruce the manager, Scott, Jack, who we now call Jack Jack, and Hayden. Need a place to drink? Chung Dam got you.

CHARCOALED GRILLED CHICKEN - 23 There were more rice cakes than there were chicken. The sauce was spicy and savory, but nothing memorable. Chicken was cut into small pieces, so it tasted a bit dry. The rice cakes had a weird texture I didn't like. Meh. SEAFOOD PANCAKE - 18 Pretty soggy and not a lot of seafood (maybe one bite of seafood per piece). It tasted fine, but not worth it for the price. The food was just okay -- we can definitely find better seafood pancakes and rice cakes at other Korean restaurants nearby. Probably a great spot if you're drunk though.

There's a lot of lunch specials. I picked the beef fried rice. It comes with banchan and miso soup. The beef fried rice was very good. What was especially good was the delicious black bean sauce that came with the rice. I thought the tasty miso soup was excellent, very rich and silky. Banchan was kimchi, Danmuji fruit and slices of white onion. Accompanying the banchan was a dipping sauce that was similar to, but not the same as the black bean sauce. I will definitely be back.
