Located in K Market's food court, their menu is quite extensive, offering various appetizers (gyoza, edamame, yakitori, fried peppers, etc.), tempura, udon, teriyaki, bento boxes, donburis, sashimi, maki, rolls, and temaki. I was craving for maki rolls, so I decided to give Suny another try. I ordered a Spicy Tuna and a Salmon Avocado maki - the Spicy Tuna was minced and there was hardly any 'spiciness' to it; the salmon had a fishy odor/taste, meaning it wasn't fresh; and, the avocado wasn't even ripened, but they still used this in the roll. In addition, the rice was extremely mushy - improperly made. Service was friendly and sweet, but the items that were served was pretty appalling. As we waited, the kind restaurant (owner? manager?) came out to give us a serving of tempura while we waited, and tended to us during our meal. We do believe the prices may have gone up a bit in the past few months, but the quality of the food doesn't make you feel bad about it, and it's a lot better than the "mall food court" I was skeptical it might taste like before I first tried it. Realize you're not at a restaurant but you can't go wrong. These workers are hard workers. The lady told me to spread the word the restaurant would be open on Thanksgiving. Didn't get to go, but they're always really kind and treat loyal customers well.
