I've tried banh mi from so many places and nothing compares to this one. The dipping sauce ! Are you kidding me?!! And the ban xeo? Absolutely to die for. Right after finishing my bowl of pho. My stomach wasn't feeling right. I paid. Rushed home and had to sit on a bog. It's definitely something is wrong with their food. SERVICE : Is horrible. Not welcoming. Very rude and seems to not want to talk at all. No greeting nor smile. She just point to a table and brought me the menu. Never came back to take my order. I ask for extra meat and put it on the side. They still couldn't understand so it's ok. He came back with my bowl of pho. Extra meat inside of my bowl. The menu said it's $2 dollar for extra meat but she charged me $4. I was in the rush so i didn't want to talk. I paid and left urgently. She charged me service at 3.5%. I didnt even bother to tip. RATE : 5/5 PHO #2 : STEAK & FLANK (SMALL @ 13.49) : The pho is ok. The aroma is very light. The flavor is ok. The earthy flavor is very mild. $13.49 for a small bowl of pho is a lot. Especially the small portion. I don't mind the portion but it's so pricey. RATE : 2/5 SIDE : EXTRA MEAT : $4 : The menu said $2. But I'm not sure why she charge me $4. For $4, i expect the meat to be more than what I recieve. RATE : 1/5 OVERALL : I do recommend checking the price on the menu and your receipt. The price is really off. I just didn't have the time and energy to talk. Plus, I got food poisoning here so I wouldn't recommend. Unless you want to try it out for your self. Who knows, different day is different. My memory is shot. I don't want to be handing out 5 stars so easily but I think they deserve it. The restaurant is very clean, and I love the little Asian lanterns they have, all different, above each table. Plenty of seating. When we got there (a little after 5), there was only one other table occupied... by the time we left (6:30), every table was nearly taken. Our waitress, as well as the other on the floor, were both very welcoming and friendly. They handled the service remarkably as a team. The fact that they were a packed house and still were very attentive with us, checking how we're doing, checking on our water refills... these are the little things I appreciate most (and, of course, good food). I got the Pho with the Fatty Brisket, my friend got just the Steak Pho. They have a bar against the wall with all garnishes you may need to grab what you'd like. This is pretty smart... It saves them from waste. Instead of giving people items they may not use-- they would just grab what they'd like themselves. My friend grabbed her goodies, I prefer mine as is. To me, if your broth is good and doesn't require me to flavor it... I'll eat it just like that (unless I feel like adding spice). I've only ever been to a few other Pho places where I had to season up the broth myself...definite no no for them. All my friends who have gone out to eat Pho with me know I eat it just how I get it. Pho from my Mama is a different story though... I put the works (not because it's not flavorful) but, it's just different. Moving on... They also have a Teazona in their establishment. I've tried a few different drinks in the past but came to regularly deciding on the Tiramisu Milk Tea (no flan for me, light boba). Make sure to shake it well. You can also let them know your preference on the level of sweetness. We both got this tonight and it nearly tipped me over on the full scale. Couldn't finish it. Everything was really good though. Pho was the perfect choice for this weird, gloomy weather we've been having. The price is a bit up there but that seems to be the norm everywhere nowadays. But-- for the portion, the quality, and the service? Worth it.

I was excited to hear that Clovis had a new Vietnamese sandwich and boba spot, and I couldn't wait to give Le Bang Mi Bistro a try. Unfortunately, my first visit left me somewhat disappointed. Starting with the boba drinks, I ordered the Brown Sugar Boba and Thai Boba. Sadly, neither met my expectations. The boba pearls were unusually hard, and the Brown Sugar Boba tasted more like milk than anything else. Perhaps that's just how it's made, but it didn't work for me. While I take some responsibility for choosing that flavor, the overall quality of the drinks was not what I had hoped for. Wanting to give the food a fair chance, I based the rest of my review on the sandwiches. We tried the Saigon Special and the Grilled Chicken sandwich. The Saigon Special, unfortunately, fell flat. The bread was hard, and the sandwich was dry--perhaps missing a spread or mayo that I've enjoyed at other places. The Grilled Chicken sandwich fared better in terms of flavor, but the bread still had the same hardness issue. On a brighter note, the chicken potstickers were delicious, and I enjoyed those more than anything else we ordered. The atmosphere is welcoming, and it's located in a nice part of town, so that was a plus. Despite the disappointing experience with the boba and sandwiches, I'm willing to give it another shot, perhaps with the rice bowls, to see if those fare better. read more

Le Banh Mi Bistro Vietnamese Sandwiches is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the welcoming atmosphere and delightful aromas set the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. The menu offers a variety of banh mi options, each one bursting with flavor. I tried the classic grilled pork banh mi, and it was perfection--crispy baguette, tender and flavorful meat, fresh veggies, and just the right amount of heat from the jalapeños. Their pickled veggies add a fantastic tangy crunch that complements the savory fillings beautifully. The service is top-notch, with friendly and attentive staff who are always ready to recommend their favorites or answer any questions. The prices are also very reasonable, especially considering the quality and portion sizes. Don't miss out on their Vietnamese iced coffee, a perfect balance of strong coffee and sweetened condensed milk that's both refreshing and indulgent. Overall, Le Banh Mi Bistro is a must-visit for anyone craving authentic and delicious Vietnamese sandwiches. I can't wait to return and try more items from their menu! read more
