Where do I begin? Adi is someone you want on your team. I wish I could take him with me to work or everywhere in my life really. The entire LB Construction team is amazing. They are respectful, humorous, kind, with an impeccable work ethic. Adi and his team worked on our penthouse in a Lake Merritt condominium. They had no problems with us recommending revisions to their proposed contract. It was a big construction project, and required a lot of creative problem solving to adhere to the HOA CC&Rs. Adi and his team had no problems dealing with our HOA and always went above and beyond with our/their requests without any complaints and gripes (even when it was deserved). They helped with architectural requests, permitting, design support, demolition, framing, drywall, flooring, electrical, plumbing, for a renovation of three bedrooms, living room, dining room, and kitchen including two fireplaces. They provided us with several great options for materials within budget. No challenge was too great for them and they never ran away. When we needed them to make final touches they made adjustments. They deep cleaned our place when it was done. Adi was always upfront about the scope, schedule, and budget so nothing felt like a surprise or a money grab. Any issue I brought up, he quickly addressed and never repeated again. He was even available to answer questions after the renovation was complete. I would 100% recommend working with them again. If we ever decide to renovate our bathrooms, Adi and LB Construction will be the first people I call.

We've moved for 3 months now, and every little detail is amazing! The quality of work is superb. I can't recommend enough, couldn't have imagined it coming out any better. Eran, project manager, and Carlos, onsite lead, was amazing to work with, trying to stick within our budget and work with our timeline. We had to pause for the longest time waiting for permits, but they were able to pick right back up when we go the approval so we can move in faster.

After. Materials are Kohler through Ferguson and Floor and Decor (tile and grouting) as recommended by LB.

We highly recommend LB Construction and our Project Manager, Adi Baron. We did a condo bathroom reno with a tub conversion to shower. Adi provided our second quote but we thought we should be diligent and seek out others - turns out we didn't need to. LB's pricing was very competitive. Several contractors wasted our time and didn't even bother to show up to provide a quote, even after aggressively trying to set up appointments with us. Very quickly, we appreciated Adi's responsiveness and thoroughness. He addressed all our concerns, guided us through the processes we would be going through (concept, permits, materials, and actual construction). Adi and LB's office staff were patient with us as we handled several administrative requirements and delays in dealing with our HOA (including various insurance requirements which involved some back and forth). Once work started, we had a dedicated crew that Adi oversaw throughout our project. The crew (Jesus, Luis, Jose, and Roberto) was trustworthy and respectful of our project and property. We are in a high-rise, which posed several logistical challenges, but the crew handled them with flexibility and a can-do attitude. They even had to set up a makeshift workspace in our condo garage powered by a generator. When there were issues, as will be the case with any project, Adi and crew lead Jose ensured our concerns were heard and addressed. We even had a follow-up item several months after they completed the project that we weren't sure how to address (buildup on tile grouting due to everyday use). Jose came by and explained the issue, fixed things up, and taught us how to address it going forward. The follow-up was handled with the same professionalism and quality service we came to expect. We're hopeful for the day that we'll have another project to work on with LB and Adi.

So pleased with our bath remodel! The project was delivered on time and on budget. The work was coordinated, the crew showed up every day - which I'd not experienced with past contractors - and everyone was kind and patient. The finishes were great. David helped us select materials and helped in the design. RecommenWill use them again for future projects.

New bathroom addition completed. The quality of the work was good but I expected better...the rough-in plumbing wasn't executed to expectations. I don't know if the job was underbid but I felt like the project manager was playing "catch-up" and trying to run up charges for "change orders' excessively. I felt like I was being "shaken-down" a bit. The 4th of July yearly discount wasn't mentioned and that would have been nice if that had been applied. Roberto did very good work but one man cannot master all trades. The bathroom tile work was average. Several things were not completed to the highest level. Again, I expected better. The shower door was delivered and sat in my driveway for a week before they returned to install it. Maybe my expectations were too high. I did not enjoy working with my project manager but that could just be due to a personality mismatch and my own shortcomings. He did some "extras" at no charge but then was a hard "NO" or excessively high quotes on any changes. I repainted the bathroom myself in an hour, after we picked the wrong color, to save hundreds of dollars. A $1,000 charge to stuff insulation into an already opened up ceiling was ridiculous. I'm neutral on LB but would not recommend.

I worked with Adi to build a deck. The project involved demolition of the old (smaller) deck, building the frame and foundation for the new deck, installing cable railings, finishing the redwood with an oil stain, and installing a new patio door. The deck looks and feels exceptional! I enjoyed working with Adi. He has an eye for detail and made sure to present me with options so that I could customize each detail to my liking. I appreciate the ownership he took with the project, going to the lumber store with me, visiting the site almost every day, and ensuring everything was perfect before closing out. His communication was on point and we were able to finish everything within the projected 3-week timeline. I'm thrilled with the finished product. The new deck creates more continuity between the house and back patio, and the cable railings open everything up. I love the redwood's natural beauty and durability. All in all, I feel I got great value for my money and look forward to working with LB Construction in the future. We have been delighted with the professionalism and skill of this company. We had been waiting years to get some renovations done, did our research, and were pleased beyond our best expectations. It started with a bathroom renovation, then expanded to an elevator removal and railing reconstruction at another property. That worked out so well that we expanded the work at our house into replacing our front doors and side doors, shoring up some foundation issues, and painting the entire exterior! There was no hard selling here. Dan, our project manager, worked with us to match our objectives and was cooperative when we scaled back certain elements of the projects and expanded others. Their pricing was competitive. The work crew was skilled, they were respectful of our wishes, and they cleaned up after each job was complete. The company was expert with local ordnances and expedited the necessary permits flawlessly. You can have confidence with LB Construction & Remodeling. They communicate well, have a wide variety of available services, and they will get it done.

We highly recommend LB Construction and Remodeling for home remodeling. We've used them for several projects at our home this year - remodeling of two bathrooms, replacement of outdoor siding (including doors and windows), and painting of the whole house. We are impressed with the quality and professionalism of the company. The project manager (Dan Peretz) was very responsive to our questions and schedule requests (even on weekends) and helped us to find local resources to select the bathroom furnishings, windows and doors. He also took care of filing the City permits and inspections, searched around for matching siding (previous model no longer available) and worked with us to adjust scope to take care of unexpected items. Their crew (led by foreman Edgar) was on-time, flexible in working around our schedule and needs, and kept us informed of the work and brought up options for our consideration. They all acted professionally and cleaned up the job site well each day. The projects were all completed within cost and schedule - no surprises!

Okay, I got my bathroom, but that's where it ends! When we contacted Liran (David), he was knowledgeable about the process. We told him that we had a tenant in the house and that he would need work remotely through us. We also wanted to keep the toilet, towel racks and TP dispenser. Well, we signed the contract and work was scheduled sooner than expected. The workers were Spanish speaking and would go to my tenant asking what I wanted. He did not know and could not understand! Because there was very little oversight by Liran, the workers did what they wanted. Everything was gutted and removed. The toilet disappeared as well as the other hardware that I wanted to keep. I would then get a call from them at the store wanting me to decide on tub, then tile, then vanity etc as needed with no pre-planning. Make sure that you like Granite Expo! We were given no other choice for quartz, tub and vanity. As work progressed, we were NEVER told which days or what time that they would arrive. There were there off and on week after week. It was down to the mirror. I was asked how we wanted it cut. Guess what? The crew had installed the outlets on the back wall where the mirror goes. In addition, the light switch at the main entry door was covered over and relocated to the back wall. I pointed out the issues to Lian and he had them corrected. Finally I get a text from Liran stating that the job would be finished in a day. My tenant sent photos, and I noticed no shower door. I texted him 3 times and he would not acknowledge the omission. Why would you leave the tub open! Then I noticed that the medicine cabinet was gone and had been plastered over. It was clear to me that Liran had little idea what was going on with my job. He did finally have someone out to install the shower door and medicine cabinet. The 4 to 5 week job became 9 weeks. Finally they are out of the house! We visited our completed bathroom and noticed there were no towel racks or toilet paper dispenser. How disappointing... There seemed to be no end to the little surprises. In a nutshell, there was very little communication, very little coordination with a work crew that couldn't speak English and very little oversight of that crew by Liran. But, the bathroom does look nice. The only reason for the 3 stars is that when I told Liran that I was not happy with something, he did have it corrected. I do have work in another bathroom, but will not subject myself to this again.

I've never had to use a Water Restoration service before so I browsed trusty Yelp and reached out to Fire & Water Damage. Glad fellow Yelp friend Karen W gave a glowing review! They seem to answer calls 24/7 and I was able to schedule an appointment quickly. Mike was main point of contact and gave us an estimate and scope of work. Basically, they had to tear out the drywall and insulation from the wet area, dry and dehumidify the area for days, and then put on moon suits and remove any mold. We were able to have 2 techs come on a Friday and then let the dehumidifier run over the weekend. We also had to tear out our upper cabinet since the top was damaged by water. On Monday, they came back to remove any leftover mode and patch things up. The total price came in well below the estimate, which is a huge plus. Very happy with the service and efficiency. If you ever suspect you have water damage from leaks, call these guys and get the problem resolved to ensure mold doesn't form or worst, spread. Note that their services are purely restorative - they'll dry out the water-damaged area and get rid of all the mold. You'll need to hire a plumber first to stop the leaks and then afterwards, a drywall contractor to patch up the holes with insulation and new drywall followed by texturing and painting.

We wanted to get our home ready for our newborn baby, so having everything come together and be finished on time was really important to us. From the beginning, communication was easy, and the team did a great job listening to our ideas and making sure the details from our original design plans were carried through. The kitchen fabrication turned out beautiful, and you can really see the attention to detail in the finished work. We also really appreciated that the pricing was affordable and that the project stayed on schedule. Avi and Joseph were our project managers, and they helped make the whole process go smoothly. Having a remodel done can be stressful, especially when you're preparing for a new baby, but we felt good about the work being done and loved seeing everything come together. Overall, we're really happy with how our kitchen and bathroom turned out. Between the quality of the work, easy communication, reasonable pricing, and finishing on time, we would definitely recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel their home!

The communication, timeliness, and finish quality was just not there with our project…read more I'm not sure if this is because of a deficiency in project management, or because of the poor contracting. From the beginning, we were never given a good sense of timeline and when parts of the project were to be completed. Contractors would not show up on days when we were told they would come, and they would randomly show up on days where we were not given any warning and we had to be at work. The contractors that came to spray texture on the walls showed up at 7pm on a Friday night. We felt bad they had traveled so far and so late, but amazed that nobody had thought to communicate their arrival to us. Because the contractors would show up at random times and complete random parts of the project, we were always being forced to rush order parts that we didn't have on hand. This included a dishwasher air gap, a garbage disposal, and the cabinet handles. As professionals, why wouldn't they have a list of required finishes for all their customers? There were also just other instances of poor management. They miscalculated how much slab we needed, so they charged us extra for that as well. The handles on the cabinets were badly misaligned, and looked like nobody had measured the distances to the edges of the cabinets. We had to ask for this to be fixed. There was a missing finished edge on the cabinet end by the dishwasher, which we also had to ask to be fixed. We had to ask for so many basic things like having our window screen reinstalled and the window lock reattached 2 weeks AFTER the final inspection passed. If the final inspection is done already, there's no more excuses for delays in finishing a project. There was no final walkthrough once everything was done. We just noticed that one of the cabinet faces has a huge scratched up area where it looks like someone colored it in with a crayon. Shouldn't this sort of damage be disclosed to your customer without us having to scrutinize? In conclusion, if you look at the work from a distance, it's up to code and done fine. The whole experience has been so dragged out, however, that at this point we can't even be bothered with calling out the weird crayon thing.

They aren't the cheapest out there, but once you see the work they do, it's almost a bargain. I did my research and wanted to find something in the middle- quality without excess. I found these guys. My project manager, Elijah was a total professional and also happens to be a real nice human being. His crew is even better (sorry, Eli). They listened and wanted my input. I grew to trust them quickly and started asking for their opinions about various things along the way to help me decide what to do. As stressful at it is to have people in your house everyday making lots of noise for weeks, I'm actually going to miss these guys. I will definitely hire them in future. Overall, the project went well, and we're happy with the final results. Bryan, our foreman, was a strong asset to the project. Even though he was managing multiple jobs at the same time, his responsiveness and willingness to go out of his way to address our concerns made a big difference. Because we were home throughout the process, we were able to catch issues early and communicate them directly to Bryan, who consistently followed through to resolve them. What Went Well: * The tile and flooring subcontractors were excellent - their craftsmanship and attention to detail truly stood out. * Bryan, our foreman, was responsive to texts and phone calls, listened to our concerns, and made sure they were addressed. He even designed a bi-fold closet door for us, and helped pick up all the material to build it. * Bryan also took the initiative to handle several unfinished items himself, which we really appreciated. * The post-build cleaners were top-notch and left the space in pristine condition. * Throughout the project, everyone we interacted with was professional, courteous, and conscientious. There were no conflicts or issues, which made the experience comfortable for us. Areas for Improvement: * The timeline was a pain point. While we were originally told the project would take 6-8 weeks, it ended up stretching to 12 weeks. * The design process fell short of expectations. Because Prime's in-house designers weren't available, our design work was outsourced. We only received a full design package for the master bathroom. As a result, we ended up creating our own renderings for the other rooms to help communicate our vision to the team. That said, we were very happy with the design and material selections for the master bathroom they did complete. We just wish the same level of attention and design support had been provided for the rest of the project. * At times, resource availability was limited, likely due to workers being assigned to multiple jobs. This led to workflow inefficiencies and delays. Toward the end of our renovation, our foreman Bryan had to personally step in to complete several tasks, such as installing faucets, shelving, and baseboards. He managed to get it done in between site visits and meetings, which we appreciated, but it also highlighted a lack of available crew to close out the project. Despite these few challenges, the quality of the work met our expectations. We appreciated the team's effort and the final outcome.

The team then assigned three designers work with us (Paola, Joanna, and Valentina (sp?) and select tiles, colors and layouts. Everyone was in constant communication through group chat. After all the parts and components were ordered by us (Home Depot, Amazon, etc.) and delivered to our home, Y Group set up the project start date. It took about 2 weeks to complete the job. The team put up plastic covers wall-to-wall and floor protection for the whole job. Despite just working on one bathroom, there's lot of dust and noise generated with different folks coming in and out each day. Inspections were scheduled extremely quickly and they passed each with flying colors. My wife also applauded the tile installers for their cleanup each day - they literally carried a bucket of water up the stairs and manually wiped the floor at the end of shift. Their price was right in line with other quotes and we chose Y Group based on Aaron's collaborative approach with us. Paola managed the project and was amazing to work with. She was also very collaborative in approach, and met us multiple times in different showrooms to look at options for tiles, cabinets etc. She had great design ideas while also hearing us on our tastes and preferences. Once the project started she regularly checked in on progress, and dealt with the minor issues that always come up with large projects professionally. We went with a custom vanity and linen closet design from Luis and Gervin, cabinet makers they work with regularly -- it looks and feels wonderful and really maximized the usable space vs. commercial options. Walter the foreman did great work throughout, especially with the large 24x48" tiles. These are hard to work with, and every joint is perfect. Our small bathroom needed a lot of thoughtful touches to really come together, and they nailed it -- the design has really transformed the space. I highly recommend Y Group Remodeling!
