Y'all, I just had the most BIZARRE experience here. This is going to be a long one. However please read if you would like to hear about my experience that included: 1. I was made to feel extremely uncomfortable 2. Dirty products were used on my hands 3. My nail tech had warts I just moved and was looking for a salon closer to me and easier to get to. I have been coming here for about 2 and a half months now because I've been trying to figure out if I love this place or absolutely hate it. Every single time I've gone, I have been made to feel like I'm being talked about and not in a good way either. However, I've been pleased with the way that my nails have come out and I believe in giving many chances before leaving a review. However, I just had the most bizarre experience here. 1. First, I walked in and I went in for the dip powder. I had residual shellac on only 3 fingers. They sat me down with one tech, she took one look at my nails, was pointing at my shoes (plain white converse) talking about them to someone and then quickly passed me on to another tech. Wow, already feeling awkward. I move to another station, he looks at my nails, then looks at her and then they begin to speak to each other in a very low whisper, pausing and then looking at my nails and then whispering again. By this point services hadn't even started and I was super uncomfortable. 2. The tech was working on my nails and I had figured that he couldn't find a nail clipper because he was using the Dremel to basically cut my natural nails. Then the other nail tech whom he was sitting next to, showed him where the nail clipper was. He then grabbed it, studied it because it was dirty, then they both looked at each other, said something quietly, he shrugged his shoulders, studied it a little more and then proceeded to use it on my nails!!! YES!!! Shrugged his shoulders and then proceeded to use it!!!! He would also have the dremel on full speed and look away to speak to the nail tech sitting next to him. Yup, blood was shed. He laughed and apologized. But hey, he apologized right!? 3. To top this horrible experience off, the nail tech had two warts on his hand. I get it, everyone needs to work and make a living, myself included. However, I don't feel like I should have to touch warts and be subjected to possibly getting one myself during my nail session (along with dirty tools being used). I have been to this nail salon multiple times to try and figure out if it is a good one or a bad one and today just really made it clear. I will not be going back to this salon and I suggest you go to another salon as well. Klassy nails is good, go see Lee! Kimmy nails on Babcock, go see Kimmy! Or really anywhere! Go anywhere else! NOT HERE!!! I was just trying to find a salon closer to my new home! read more

If I could rate negative I would. Walked in at 2pm for my pedicure and solar nail appointment. At 4pm my toes were done. Two freaking hours for a pedicure???? At this point they haven't touched my nails and people who came in for a pedicure after me are already gone. I had to stop someone and ask them to take the foil and remover soaked cotton off my fingers because I needed to leave and attend an event tonight - need time to run by store and get ready. And would be doing so with my nails looking like crap. As they hadn't even started on them I could not afford the time at this point, two hours later. Then I get charged for pedicure and a dip removal. I said no, I didn't come in for a dip removal but for solar nails. I never would have let them put remover on my nails and wouldn't have had anything done to them if anyone had mentioned it would be two hours for simply the pedicure. They did take the dip removal cost off. Very displeased that no one seemed to care that it took so incredibly long. When I arrived wasn't told they were running late or anything. Now I'm needing to do something about my crappy looking nails. But no time tonight! I'll just spread the word about the horrid service and lack of caring. read more

This was my first at this salon and it was a great experience! I asked Megan (nail tech) for an ombré design. She indicated that it's usually hard to do on short nails, but she didn't try and change my mind. She was very friendly and talkative; at other salons, I've experienced the awkward silence lol. This place has the best customer service. I have been getting my lashes and nails done here for years. Michelle, the owner, goes above and beyond for her customers. Everyone is hard working and does everything they can to ensure you get exactly what you want. I highly reccomend getting your nails, lashes, or waxing done here. Also, I recommend taking headphones to relax, and cash because they give a discount if you use cash. I also recommend taking a small blanket with you if you're going to get your lashes done because it can get cold sometimes in the back. I also recommend you call first to see if they have an opening. I have been going here since 2018 because I had never had a bad experience and it is less than 10 minutes from my house. The techs are always friendly as well as the owner. But y'all most definitely overcharged me ($80) for this simple set. I got this on July 12 but finally got them fixed at another nail salon in Austin this week on the 4th. I have been going here 2 years now and I have never, ever gotten a set done as shoddily like this. So not only did these not last even a month, before this nail got broken another one had fallen off on my right hand a week prior. I have never had such subpar work for almost $100. Best nail salon experience! I did a walk in and was seen quickly. I always get French but wanted something different but can't get crazy colors or stiletto nails. They suggested mood changing nails where they change color when you're hot or cold. Kathy did my nails, and for once she had her nails done and demo'd the mood change. I love it! Terrible experience. The man cut my cuticles with the drill and made me bleed on all 5 fingers of my left hand. He noticed and even said "oh it's bleeding". At the end I was charged 50 dollars for dipped nails which is the most I've ever been charged. I felt like I should have at least been discounted considering I was literally bleeding out the door. shellac was done very poorly and was rushed. Nails are all different shapes and very thick, bumpy acrylic. Initially I wanted matte top coat and was told $5 extra and half way through, almost finished with my toes and about to pay, they changed the price to $10 extra for matte top coat. On top of that my cuticles were burned and bled and didn't even get an apology. Just moved to the area and was on a hunt for a good nail salon and I think I found it! Walked in on a Tuesday night and was seated right away. I had really old acrylics on and needed them off right away. The color selection for the dip powder was limitless! They even had glow in the dark and color changing nails which I ended up going with. With heat the nails change to a bright orange and with cold they change to a deep red/pink. I ended up being able to salvage my real nail and I've never been this happy with the natural shape/ length. Overall it was $55 to get the old acrylics off and to receive a full set of dip. Ugh not too impressed. I will be leaving to India for a month and thought I would come here to relax before leaving. Nails came out great, but the service was not the best. Was seated quickly and promptly when I arrived for my appointment, but the technician seemed soooo rushed! I wasn't offered any refreshments even though they had a fully stocked fridge. The Tech was rushing and was going so quickly that he dropped the entire dipping powder jar then dropped the clear polish...then he was very off even when I tried to make just any small conversation, but was talking loudly with all other techs. When the other tech finished with my nail design he came back smelling of smoke! Maybe he was having a bad day or outside problems I'm not sure, but I really didn't like the service. I'm really sad to be writing this review. This is my third time going in and definitely the worst experience I have had yet. Firstly, the nail tech that did it was ill. Second, he left glue and remnants of the previous color all over my hand. Third, the glue was not removed where it is in contact with my skin. And the icing on the cake, while using the drill and files close to my cuticles I made him aware that he was getting my skin. He did not acknowledge what I said until after he has cut me. There are aspects of other salons that are nice, but nothing has had me wanting to come back and never go anywhere else! Until now! This place is it. I'm in love with my nails every time. My wife came here when her usual spot was booked for the day, and unfortunately she will never return for a second visit. Her hands are swollen from rough picking under the nail beds, there is some dried blood under a couple of them, there are several dents, scrapes, and gashes on her finger nails as well as the color not matching her toes as requested. She tried speaking up when things weren't going as she had asked but there were so many things wrong she couldn't catch them all. It was my first time doing powder. I usually get shellac on my natural nails but lately my nails been taking forever to grow and my skin around my nails been peeling off. I took a picture on Saturday and today is Wednesday. So far so great! I love them! I feel so girly and beautiful! I paid $70 for these sets. I am going to start going there for sure! I went in for the first time. I asked for my nails to look like this and they didn't come out that way. Didn't get the shape I payed for as well as they wouldn't reshape them when I went back. Polish didn't dry correctly had white dots all over it . So I went back the next day and they let my nails dry for over 45 mins and they still didn't dry it's 24 hours later and my polish is still moving around. And looks disgusting.
