It was great news to discover that Tai is Kathy's Brother and he brought his wife, Tammy to work at the Salon as well. They do pedicures fine but if you are overweight, one of the guys will look at you rude every time you get in their old crappy pedicure chairs. Mind you, I'm not 600lbs. I'm just big. But the chairs are old and creak when I get into it. The first time, maybe it wasn't me, I thought. The second time, ok this guy has a problem. The third visit, and it will be my last, he shot me a look and I shot him one back. Later, I heard him "playfully" argue with a lady about her nails trying to upsell. Despite having an appointment, they kept seeing other people being attended to while they were ignored. First of all ; OUCH Girl, I am still SHOOK while typing this. The "nail tech" began on my first nail and before finishing the second nail, sliced my skin with the drill bit. My finger bleeds. "This is painful. Can I speak with your manager?" she tries to avoid that. She then removes her mask with a smirk and a face that says "here we go again" She's telling the other employees and manager but they're all shaking their head saying "no". Manager walks up to me says sorry accidents happen and they simply want to keep customers happy. So I ask , "well what can you do to make this right? this is unacceptable." Manager: "if I give you a discount I have to give everyone a discount" My response : " so what you're saying is your cutting slicing everyone fingers?" :/ He began arguing with me that if he gave me a discount everyone would come in asking for a discount lol I don't know why he was so defensive. I've been a customer at Fairy Nails for years. At first I was just having the most basic nail services but in 2019, I started having Christy (one of the owners) do fancy nail designs. She's very talented and can copy many cute things if you bring her a photo. I get a dip, then she freehand paints the images I request. Every now and then I need some kind of fix (I've broken a nail, for example) and they will fix it for me for free. My nails typically last about two weeks before the growth is enough that I want it redone but I have gone longer. My pedicure typically lasts about a month, so I end up with every other nail visit needing both. The salon went from a much larger one before the pandemic to one with just four techs, so it's better if you make an appointment, but they will try to fit you in if you walk in. I'm crying.. I might super emotion right now but gosh it's so upsetting :( I hardly ever get my nails done so it's really upsetting when they do NOT turn out the way I asked. I am not the type to speak up however I did this time and he still did not achieve the look I was asking for. Photo 1 is what I asked for but with a white tip instead of the color photographed. My new nail spot! I had an old favorite but the service and quality here has me driving a little further for some pampering. My go to is shellac for my nails. I love how my nails have come out there. I absolutely love it here at fairy nails! The owners are friendly and make me feel welcome. They remember my name and provide the best personal experience with every pedicure. I receive consistent superior customer service every time I am here. I've been coming here for 4 years. During covid they don't seem to be missing a beat in their great service. They are sanitizing after each customer, using face masks and gloves (and ask each customer to wear their mask and to wash their hands upon entry. They check temps and survey each customer for possible exposure. They even have these wooden frames with plastic windows to place between customer and employee. Always 5 stars from me! I was very disappointed in the behavior of the owner. His behavior was so irrational. I had been to see him twice and both times felt like he wanted to talk me into more expensive treatments or didn't approve of my choices. The 3rd time he waited on me (I knew I shouldn't have gone back to him but I was needing my nails done on a Sunday- I knew they were open- he did ask for me to come back- so I did. He made me feel as if I was a bother to him). I accidentally bumped a nail and he literally fussed at me, others heard him, it was so uncomfortable. I thought he was joking so I laughed - thinking he would to....nope... he continued to fuss and made such a big deal out it. There is no way I would go back to him. I would give negative stars if that were an option! The lady (dark hair wore glasses) who did my pedicure refused to tell me the different pedicure choices when asked and did what she wanted. She didn't get all my original polish off, cut my toe when she was using the cuticle tool, poured polish remover in the open wound, didn't turn the massage chair on and slapped the new polish on where it looked like a first grader painted my toes. She rushed through the entire process. She was exceptionally rude and what was supposed to be a relaxing pedicure took 20 minutes. I will NEVER be back! read more

If you are looking for some pampering..these people know how to treat you like a queen. I went with a friend for some girl shopping/nail therapy time and I think I found heaven! We were walk-ins and even though they were busy they got us to our pedi-chairs fast. After being helped into our massage chairs, we were given strawberry margaritas (they had several options I believe) and some wonderful foot massages and beautifully done toe nails. After relaxing in our massage chairs and finishing our margaritas, we got our fingernails done and they did an outstanding job on my French tip shellac and my friends acrylic nails. I was very skeptical of staying because even though they say 5-10 mins it usually means more like 20-30. I replied with a umm well how about I'll just come back. Then a women that was getting her nails done said said you should stay if he say 5-10 he means it. He is not lying trust him. Owner gets loud comes over, then wife come over then it becomes a family argument in front of all the clients !! After I explained to tech she cut too deep into pointer nail including that she almost cut my skin as she filed down with both drill and file, I let her know she went too deep and nail was ruined but the entire shop decided they weren't going to have that and created a terrible scene I videotaped the scene simply because it became so uncomfortable I felt unsafe! See for urself how awful my teeny cracked nail looks as oppose to the rest of my nails!! Then to add insult to injury the screaming wife wants to demand payment for clear powder and the time they took to ruin my nail?!' I'm filing a complaint to the BBB for harassment after that they are told they did a botched job!! For the manicure I got dip powder and I kept having to ask the woman to make the nail shorter, more even, or more of the shape I wanted because she wasn't doing what I asked.
