Tina was referred to me by a mutual client. Her nails always looked great so I asked where she went and who did her hands and feet. Tina is on the quiet side , but if you talk, she talks. She's fast, efficient and respects my appointment time. Her sister does my sister on our once a month meet up. Everyone I've referred there has been pleased. The nail tech does an excellent job but the quality of the gel nail polish is NO GOOD. It chips and starts to lift the same day you get them done and they don't mention the no refund policy until after you've paid your money and discover there's a problem. What's more disappointing is you actually pay extra for the gel polish and this is what you get. True waste of time and money. read more

We recently moved to SA, and I had been having the HARDEST time finding a new nail salon. After a couple failed tries, I finally resorted to doing my own nails (so pathetic, I know). I finally got tired of having to tend to myself, so I started trolling reviews for nail salons in the area and found Bellagio. So many of the reviews were good, so I decided to give it a shot. SO GLAD I DID!! This place is phenomenal. It doesn't look like much from the outside, but the service is great. I'm super particular about my nails and I want them done a certain way. Most manicurists barely skim over the cuticles or don't clean callouses very well. The manicurists I had made sure my cuticles were super clean and took their time in applying color. My daughter received a mani/pedi from Kim, and she was so happy with the result. Kim was so sweet and talked to her the entire time. My daughter felt like they were besties by the time we left and even have her a hug! My manicurist (Nina) was sweet and thorough. I was very pleased with my clean, sparkly nails. Went in on a Tuesday around 3 so was sat immediately. My sister and I both went in for a fill, we'd gotten the set from this place as well about a month ago. The first set looked amazing and lasted a long time. For the fill, I showed her a simple design at the beginning and was told they wouldn't do it because my nails were "too short". Opted for frenchies instead and my nails are bulky, uneven, and not very pretty. I can see the colored acrylic we used last time under the clear and none of my nails are even, or the correct shape I asked for. Kind of disappointed this time since my first set came out super cute, and both of my sisters original and fill sets looked great. If I return to this shop, I'll only get simple, all over one color sets. read more

They were nice but the lady who was doing my nails took FOREVER and they still didn't turn out right she also left in the middle of my appointment without telling me anything and had someone else finish. This nail salon is super clean and looks sanitary. Everything is organized and the decor is very chic. Very upscale looking place at very reasonable prices! They do nails as well as facials and waxing. Although i have not tried out the facials or waxing yet i noticed that the facial room looks very private and clean when i was passing it by to the bathroom. Tina and Kim are great at facials and waxing. If you come for pedicure there ask for David or Kim they are phenomenal at pedicures. Kim is also great with nail designs as well. She is really sweet and cares about what her customers want. David is sweet and makes all his customers happy, he really is very detailed when it comes to his pedicures, he will pamper your feet and it will look amazing afterwards. Nina is the best when it comes to solar nails or even just a manicure. She has done both for me and does a great job. I love the shellac nails they do there and they offer so many types of colors and techniques there. I asked for coffin cut nails, charged me five dollars. Which isn't a big deal. But my nails aren't coffin cut. She did one coffin cut. When I said something she told me to look because they are coffin cut. Then, my pedicure chipped one day after getting them done... I have only worn flip flops. Waste of $70 going here. Over priced. Do a bad job. I've been getting my nails done for 6 years and never had an experience like I had here. Don't ask for a chevron either because it took them 15 min to figure out how to design one. read more

Let me start by saying the end results was nice. But to get there was a little concerning. I arrived for the first time and was immediately concerned when it took a little conversation to make the staff understand I did not want acrylic not gel nails, I simply wanted to removed the power dip on my OWN nails and to redip them in a new color. But finally we got it and mi we on. After waiting for about 15 minutes (it was ok I read the reviews and knew I was in for a wait) the staff asked to "wrap" my fingers to remove the dip. She did the foil paper and cotton and acetone wrap that done in many places. The difference is she left this foil on for over an 1.5 hours. Through another hour of waiting and half way through the pedicure it was removed. Results, my fingers are irritated and broken out around the cuticles and are painful. I also very concerned that they do NOT use the sanitary plastic bags in the pedicure chairs and instead used a dirty bottle brush with no cleaning agents to clean the bowls. Unfortunately I didnt see that until I was in the chair. Bottom line...never again! read more

I visited this salon for a new set of solar nails. It would be my second set ever, the previous time I had one was a year ago. I had read the one review about this spot and thought it couldn't hurt to try this place. Especially since the first review was a five star rate. Though it isn't too expensive (40) for a new set of solar nails with shellac polish.. Still I have some reservations about visiting again. First off it was difficult communicating with Kimee. I asked for a short set. Still I got a long set. . I'm not an expert on how a manicure is done but shouldn't there be some cuticle work done before the nails are put on? I asked for rounded nails and I got a square set with rounded edges. I went back after a week and asked her to fill my nails, they seemed to have grown Out quick but really it's because my cuticles weren't worked on before hand. It was $20 to fill and I made sure to be firm about the cuticles being worked on before she filled, and also I wanted them shorter than before and rounded! Yeah I got them shorter and she cut my cuticles, but she maneuvered the tool she uses to buff my nails to do that. Ew! I wanted to walk out at that point but I kept my cool... Maybe it would have been ok if the buffing tool hadn't looked dusty... But it did. She worked fast because I got there at 6:15 and they closed at 7. She sanded down my nails so much they were achy after. Still... I got square nails. Last time I go back. I'm visiting Sky Nails right now, hopefully it will be a better experience. read more
