Went in this morning to get my nails done because I Just needed a manicure with dip on my real nails. The nail salon opens at 11 and already I walk in at 10:59 and they're booked. I totally understand making an appointment is always the way to go because nail salons are very busy, especially on Sundays, but when I walked in, they asked me what I needed done all they said was sorry we're busy right now and then completely ignored me. They gave me no solution to tell me a different time to come in, they gave me no reprieve to make me feel like I was at least on the same level of a customer like everybody else in the salon at that time, and there was zero no customer service. Never go to this place because if they are booked and busy all they will do is ignore you and make you feel like you're a pariah just standing there in their nail salon like an idiot. They gave me no solution. In my opinion, they need a complete restaffing if they want good customer service and good yelp reviews. read more

I had been a happy customer until my pedicure on 5/3, Erik scrapped the side of my left foot, it bled! He put something on it and a bandaid, never apologized! I've been seeing a foot Dr since the beginning of June, she suggested I talk to the owner. I explained this to Lee last week when I was there, all he did was hand me a little package of antibiotic ointment. I've nee using prescription antibiotics. I got a full set of acrylics and the tech took his mask off halfway through my service, seemed to really struggle applying the acrylic, left acrylic residue under the nails and they ended up very irregular in shape. Not only the edge of the nail, but the body of it is misshapen and lumpy and I paid $70 including a medium sized tip. I am not one to complain unless something is really subpar, so if management sees this can a girl get a refund or discount on next service please?? read more

I received a 20% off discount card in the mail for their grand opening since I live nearby. My usual salon is about an hour from my home so having something 5 minutes down the road sounded awesome, but most places are not as high quality as my normal spot so I always just bite the bullet and drive over. I am so excited that Herbal is so close and is just as high quality (if not even better) as my former spot. They were busy the whole time I was there so I definitely recommend making an appointment if possible, but walk ins are welcome too. Monica did truly a perfect job on my nails and was very attentive to detail. She checked every so often to make sure it was exactly what I wanted and welcomed me to stop her at any time so she could get it right. I was so impressed with her skills and professionalism! The dipping powder manicure I received was $45 but with the 20%, was $36. The pricing is what I paid at my former place. I am pumped to have a great, clean salon so close to call my new regular spot. Will definitely be coming back for a pedicure! UPDATE: Unfortunately, my dipping powder set lasted less than a week before chipping and cracking occurred. Almost all of my nails has fallen off at the week mark. I will not be returning and will continue to drive an hour for my nail services for the sake of high quality and durability. This is one of the worst nail salons I've been to.. so I decided to stop in one day to get a new dip set done. For weeks I was being super careful with my nails and growing them out so I could achieve a medium coffin shape, but without using tips. So while I'm getting my nails done I realize this is one of those salons that's ridiculous and charged extra for the shape. But fine, whatever I'm already here so just do it right? Well.... what I got was definitely not coffin & she completely ruined the progress I made with the length of my natural nail. Plus they were all un even and had weird little ripples/waves in every single nail. You had to look close to see them but still if I'm paying that much, I don't want nails like that. So I call and ask them to redo them because of how unhappy I was with them and this time the owner does my nails. She was super nice and all but I remember her saying something like "well coffin is kind of hard to do, not everyone can do it well" okay well if you KNOW that your staff isn't capable of doing the shape... why are you charging people $5 for it?!?! But when I left the salon I was super happy with the set she provided, but fast forward to the next couple of days.. I've never had as many hang nails and peeling skin around my fingers... my hands just looked so ugly because of it. The owner usually does my nails and while he does a very good job the last few times I have gone he's been somewhat rude. This last time was 45 minutes late then was on his phone after my nails dried while I sat there waiting for him to finish. Just had the most unprofessional and uncomfortable experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I was not greeted upon entering, and the staff looked at me as though they wished I was not there. I wasn't seated in a chair until almost 20 minutes after my appointment began. Marquis was supposed to be my technician, but immediately upon sitting down, I felt extremely uncomfortable from how un-welcoming and unfriendly she was. She proceeded to talk on her personal phone stating how she just got sat with yet another client & would be home after, "she was finished with it." It being me, a human being, sitting right across from her hearing how she did not want to be working with me. She then tried to bribe me off to another coworker of hers by saying, "Do you want to do this? I want to get home." I understand having a hard day, but I am a paying customer who deserves to be treated with some ounce of respect, and Herbal Nails treated me quite the opposite. It was an extremely uncomfortable and unprofessional situation to be put in as a customer. I did not continue service, and will not ever be back. DO NOT COME HERE. read more

These are great nail technicians and pedicurists. Do not equate the new Herbal Nails with the one from before 12/2020. Not a great experience. Used to love this place when it opened. Went in on a Monday around 1pm. Had a short wait. The technician hurriedly did my pedicure. When it came time to wrap my legs in the warm towels she basically just placed one on top of both of my legs. The pedicure tools were not sanitized. I saw her pull them out of a sterilization pack that was not sealed. They lost 4 customers in the time I was there because there were only 4 technicians working and they had their own appointments they were working on.
