The service was terrible, and the employees were extremely rude. My nails looked nothing like the inspiration photo I showed them--honestly, they looked like they were done by a child. When I politely pointed this out, the man doing my nails insisted they looked exactly like the picture, and the other employees backed him up without even comparing. He then yelled at me, accusing me of wasting his time. When I asked him to just leave the nails plain, he handled my hands roughly and clearly with anger. I left feeling upset and disrespected. Truthfully not a good pedicure. The woman who serviced me spent no time speaking to me unless it was to insult me about various things, my nails being long, or that I had something under one of my nails (God forbid a girl works and works out), otherwise didn't speak to me at all. Seemed more interested in the person who walked in after me who was friends with the staff than me. When she massaged me so seemed less than interested and almost aggressive when doing so, put the hot towels on my legs and shortly after hurried me out. Just got back in my car and took these photos because I was so embarrassed by how bad my nail service was. They can't even be fixed because I asked for them to be short yes. But the shape is wrong I asked for super square. And almost every nail is a different shape and size. That's just the beginning. There is something wrong with almost every nail. Even the paint job was horrible. There are some nails that are rounded off on one end and squared off on the other end OF THE SAME NAIL! Some nails had huge acrylic lumps in them. I just don't get it. I have NEVER and I mean never (even my first set at 15 years old) have I had this bad of a nail set. NEVER CHEAT ON YOUR NAIL TECHS. I would never ever come back here again. This was my first visit and I will most definitely be back. Danny did an excellent job and is a perfectionist in his work, but was still very quick. I was in and out in less than 45 minutes with dip/powder color removal, shape and trim, and new dip/powder color applied. Which was great for me, as I'm not patient enough to sit there for an hour +! Lol so I went to visit my SIL (Im from Dallas) this past weekend she wanted to go to the nail salon (she's a reg here). I agreed to going, thinking I'd give it a second chance. We both asked for the same pedicure. However for some reason mine did not come w a massage or anything that my SIL received. I've been to Tip Top Nail 3 times now. I've been very impressed each time, and I've now deemed it my go to nail salon. I usually get a pedicure as well as a shellac manicure. There are two distinguishing factors why I love this place so much. First, they do not skimp on the foot rub. As this is my hands down favorite part of the full treatment, I appreciate that they give the customer quality service and time. Second and most importantly, the shellac lasts. Just got here and I already love it! Just moved from Las Vegas so I stressed trying to find a place to get my nails done that was similar to what I was used to at home. This place is conveniently across the street from where I live and I had one bad experience from another nail salon here (A La Mode Nails). But I walked into tip top and they were so friendly! Not to mention when I called to make the appt they were easy to talk to and happy to take me in. They have a great selection of nude Gel colors which is what I was looking for. And very attentive. Bad customer service here. I got my nails done before my engagement photos, they were supposed to be matching polish for toes and hands, but the color was off. I kept telling them that the shellac they were using was not of the matching set because it was so much lighter than my toes. They painted 2 different shellac colors on top of one another to try and match my toes. So, it left me with uneven clumpy nails. I would have asked them to redo them that second but I had to get back to work. I figured I could go back the very next day and have them just redo my hands...but turns out they will not fix your nails if you aren't satisfied. I went back the very next day to ask if they could redo my shellac so that it could look more presentable. One of the men was very rude and said "NO that it would be too much work", his tone was extremely unacceptable, I tried to be nice and explained that I normally would not be picky, but given the circumstances, I would like them to redo them. The previous time I had gone, my nails were done perfectly, but the second time was terrible. I was so humiliated and I walked straight out. I couldn't believe he would talk to a customer like that in front of other clients waiting. Here customer service is not paramount and they could care less about the customer being happy and satisfied. I'd rather pay double to get a mani/pedi then to ever give them my hard earned money. Getting your nails done is not cheap and I expect to have pretty, clean, even nails for the price. read more

I walked in and needed a new set put on and an old taken off. They said nothing about a wait, sat me down and soaked my nails....for 45 MIN!! no one talked to me the entire time. The nail tech took care of two other ppl before me and also told 3 other ppl who walked in that he would be with them in 20 min. I finally decided I had enough and told an employee I needed to go. They tried to bribe me to stay by offering no charge for the new set and begged me to take their offer for several min. When it was finally clear that I was not going to change my mind, they told me I owed $10 for the removal of the old set. I will NEVER return here for any service. read more
