I needed to have my gel nails removed, so I dropped in this neighborhood nail salon. The man who removed my polish filed my nails, so gruffly and roughly that he ruined them. This was in October, and now in January, they are only beginning to recover. I will never go in this place again. read more

I'm so glad I tried this place. They are so incredibly friendly and the people that came in here you could tell were regulars. They all knew each other by name. It was actually wholesome. What a delightful nail salon on Blanco Rd! I yelped reviews because there are so many salons out there, and Harmony had 4.5 stars so I thought I'd try it. My daughter and I were pleasantly surprised. This nail salon has a very calming atmosphere and it is decorated very nicely. I had a very thorough and precise technician, Nathan. His foot massage was awesome also. I hardly get my nails done and a bunch of my family go to this salon and were telling me to go get my nails done here so I did. BIG MISTAKE! My first mistake was forgetting to ask for Jason, Jason is the one who does all there nails and he does amazing work I've seen it. So I end up with Nathan who was so very rude the whole time, I get dip on my nail which later I find out doesn't look good on me. I don't get my nails done very often so my cuticles were over grown and needed to be taken care of so I asked him multiple times to do my cuticles, he gets his clippers and barely gets any off, and then leaves a big gap between where he put the dip and my skin [he didn't put it over the cuticles that he supposedly got off]. I realize that I didn't get to pick out the color for my nails, at first I thought he was going to use a clear and paint over them but then he got up and never came back, so after he is done I telling them I hate the nails and want them removed, so they get Nathan back out and he telling me ok I'll remove them but you still have to pay the 50 dollars. In my head I'm like I'm not leaving with nails so I'm not paying for them and I told him I'll pay for the removal and that is it. He starts yelling at me telling me my nails and "ugly, short and wide" those were his exact words. So the lady name Kayla comes over and telling me I should have gotten acrylic nails that it would look better on my type of nail bed. I tell them well why didn't he tell me that, they are both the same price I would have gotten the acrylic if I had known. They weren't going to let me leave unless I paid and he refused to let me get them removed or redone, thank God my aunt was there with me and told them off. Everyone else but Nathan was super nice during all this, as we were leaving they were telling us how sorry they were. I felt bad for them since Nathan is the owner and he is acting like that and they can't do anything about it! So my final conclusion is you can come here just stay away from Nathan!!!!! read more

I've come in three times now. Two drop-ins and an appointment. Harmony has aways accommodated me and my guests without issue. They have plenty of space and plenty of chairs. Large selection of regular, gel, and dip polish. I brought my mother in for her first manicure ever and they were patient and very good with her. I decided to look for a nail salon that would offer not only great quality work but also made me feel relaxed and over all comfortable. I used to go to fairy nails since it is very close to my home but recently have had bad experiences with not just one tech but quite a few. Harmony nails was wonderful from the very beginning. My nail tech Nathan was very friendly, I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he delivered! I'm in love with my nails. Prices were not expensive, from all the work he did with my nails including massage and hot towel I was expecting over $50 but was charged less. I got a full set with shellac and added on glitter. I will definitely be coming back. I'm very happy I found a place that is not over crowded and has a calming setting for me to enjoy myself with a glass of wine and water bottle. read more

Someone needs to educate these people on what nail types are. If you ask for an oval nail you don't want a teeny tiny stiletto shape nail. And don't use scissors to cut nails on the sides if you don't even know how to use them. The guy cut my daughter in a couple spots and she was bleeding. I needed to get my nails done for an event and I was able to walk in and be seated within 5min (when doing walk ins you never know so anything less than 10min is ideal) I picked the dip color but the nail tech explained the color would be so light to the point of see through, something I didn't want so I appreciated them letting me know that up front. They ended up finding me another similar color that I ended up loving. They were efficient and made sure to fix any errors (we are all human!) to make sure I left happy. The best manicure and pedicure that I have ever received. New to the area, I decided to visit this nail salon based on the Yelp and Google reviews. The salon is clean, beautiful and warm. The staff was kind and friendly. I started in the pedicure chair and enjoyed the service. I then sat in the chair at the manicure station and was absolutely blown away at the amount of time, patience and attention that my hands were given. My nails looks like glass. They are FLAWLESS! I am a FAN!! A group I belong to on Facebook was singing the praises of Harmony Nails, so when my daughters suggested a girl night, I promptly called and made an appointment. The interior is very nice and calming. We got there early and they seated us at the pedi chairs and let our feet soak for a loooong time. This made me so happy because I knew that my feet would be super soft after they were done. We choose the regular pedi for $25 and honestly, I have NEVER had a better pedi, and I usually spend about $65 at another spa. After they were done with the polish I received a leg massage that rivals most massages I have ever had, And, while my toes were drying I got an awesome neck and shoulder massage.
