The lady who runs the place "Vicky" she is so darn rude, unprofessional, and is so sloppy. She tries to run the place and do a service all at the same. So she goes so fast and when you try to tell her you don't like something, she quick to get upset. She even has others that work there run their mouth and laugh about the situation. It's rare you'll find someone there to do a decent, to actually care enough about their work and clean the over paint or excess glue off before letting you walk out. But again beware to provide feedback or ask for a fix as they will give you attitude for doing so! read more

if i could i would put a half star. My experience was absolutely horrible. At first things were good, my friend and I were seated within 5 min. I show the front lady what i want so then I get Thai Pham. The first nail pic i showed had a lot of nail design but i decided on a more simple look. Round shape with a little drawn bow on my middle fingers. He says "no problem" So we get to the part for him to do the bow, this man sticks on a 3D bow that covers my entire nail. i'm upset and i tell him "i wanted the bow like the picture" he simply says "this is more better!" now im not against 3D gems but that is not what i asked for. I had also noticed they didn't take my cuticles out or clean the excess under my nails. Now i should've said more but I was already upset because he wasn't listening to me. I've been coming here since I was a freshman in high school, I am now 25. As the years go by it crazy to see how the customer service goes down hill. Most of the employees are really nice but after today I will not be coming back. I was rudely rushed out after getting my toes done. They weren't busy, there was still empty seats that people can go to but rushed me and insisted I get up to pay. I can't even enjoy myself on my self care day. I'm truly disappointed. This is the first nail salon I've been to in San Antonio that didn't piss me off. I called first thing in the morning on a Saturday to see if the had availability for a pedicure. I was told yes, and to just come in. When I arrived, I was shocked at how many customers were already inside. I selected my color and was seated immediately. They have several options for pedicures, and I went with the Diva which was $55. I learned my lesson with nail salons over charging for gel polish, so I stuck with regular polish. The massage that comes with this service was amazing and they didn't cut time. (Each tier of massage offers additional minutes for a massage.) I regret not getting the lady's name who did my pedicure, but this is now the only location I will go to for pedicure service. They were clean, customers seemed very happy, and everyone was friendly. As soon as you're seated, they ask if you want something to drink. I typically say no, but it looks like they offer a variety of drinks for people. Highly recommend. I might even check out their waxing services next. Location is on Potranco, right near the intersection, close to Planet Fitness. Parking is limited in this area. read more

First time here and I'm already a fan. Called ahead and we were able to get in immediately. We were welcomed upon arrival and seated quickly to pick out our colors. I was very surprised when I was offered a drink - soda, water or wine - while we waited. Not too long after, we were directed to the pedicure chairs and greeted again by two very pleasant woman technicians. They asked how we were doing and what we were looking to have done during our visit. Since it'd been months since I'd been privileged to some pampering, I chose the Pedikool package. In honor of the upcoming holiday, I chose a Stars and Stripes design. And, since I'm a clutz who can't leave the salon without messing up my paint, I chose to do shellac (another first for me). The tech that assisted me was very nice. She provided great service and did a great job on my design! Many times I've provided a design to other salons and the results were not quite what I asked for - still good, but different - so I was happy with how they turned out. Walked in around 11am on Tuesday, and even though the salon was full, we were taken immediately. I was offered a drink and seated in a pedi-chair. Within a minute, my pedicurist was at my side, filling the basin and offering me a menu of their services. I looked over their menu and opted for a basic shellac pedi. My pedicurist shapes my toenails beautifully, and gave me the most relaxing leg and foot massage I've had in quite awhile. Based on service received, I will most definitely be back to this salon, and I'll definitely be asking for Lisa!! read more

I went in today for a pedicure with one of the male techs and picked which pedicure I wanted based off of the pricing they gave me. Well at the end when I went to pay, they were charging me $10 more than what I was told. Their pricing in the brochure they give you is cheaper than what they actually charge. Then they admitted that the nail tech was supposed to tell me the updated pricing and that it was his mistake, but I am being told I have to pay the full price even though I was told a cheaper total before hand. On top of that, I was cut multiple times during my pedicure and was bleeding to the point that he had to grab a towel and alcohol to clean it off. I went in for an acrylic take off and a manicure there's acrylic still on my nails I told her not to do the manicure because I was cut and she continued to ask me three times. She kept wiping the blood off of my fingers with her bare hands. She couldn't even get my acrylic nails off or the jewels off either. Someone had to step in and get it done for her. If I can give zero stars I would. Her drill even wasn't really working at all she kept stopping to adjust the cable. She didn't really speak any English at all which made it hard to work with her. Terrible experience. Didn't even get a proper pedicure, the woman had a sour face the whole time acting like she didn't want to be there. She didn't file or buff my nails she just passed the buffer over my nails. She lightly passed a pumice stone missing all the right parts because she was too deep into conversation with the woman next to her. Then she skipped one foot with the foot file. No foot massage, everyone else around me seemed to enjoy their service and with proper technique. You can't even tell I had a pedi besides the polish. I have been coming to Diva Nails & Spa more frequently recently. Before I would visit once a year or so. This is a pretty busy place! I usually try to go as soon as they open. I have had both manicures and pedicures done. They provide quality service at a reasonable price. The most recent time I went in for a nail dip and was happier with the result than I have ever been! Everyone that I have has done my nails has been really great! I have had my nails done by almost everyone that works there that does nails. The best results were with Don. I am a chatter, and like to get to know the nail techs. They are friendly and courteous. The place is clean and they take care and maintain the pedicure area. Before I went to my most recent trip to Vegas, I went by to get a mani/ pedi. It was worth every penny spent! If you have the chance to try it out, I highly recommend. I usually ask them what they think about the color I'm choosing, if they think it goes with my skin tone and type of tip cut. If I could give this place zero stars I would. They are not consistent with pricing. I called on the phone to ask how much exactly what I wanted would cost, I was told $40 on the phone. When I walked in the women who was up front asked me to look at the colors but only gave me less than 15 seconds to look and sent me to nail tech Pham. He asked me to add him on instagram and insisted I pick something off his page and was suggesting I do design with colors. I specially asked for black nails. After a few times of explaining I only wanted black nails he insisted we do acrylic. I asked about regular polish he suggested it's not the best idea and I asked for gel and he said no he'd be doing acrylic for 75. I told him I wanted gel he said no acrylic. I let him do my nails and the process was awful. He kept pulling my hand telling me to relax my hand when it already was, and cut my cuticles multiple times. I did bleed a few times and he wiped it away. I did notice their items did not appear to be sanitized. He pulled his drill bits out of an altoid tin. Everything he used on my hands I watch him out away into the tin and did not sanitize. After finishing my nails they seemed ok at first. He told me in between the process the price would be $65 since I asked why the price was higher than what my friend who referred me had paid who got designed nails. I went to the front to pay and asked the lady about pricing she explained it would be $65 because I asked for acrylic, which I did not I asked for regular polish or gel polish. I paid and walked out and when I got to my car I noticed how badly they had looked. They looked extremely grainy. Not smooth and scratched up on the color. Under my nails looked shredded from Pham filling underneath with the drill. I called and asked if I could have them take a look because in the sunlight it looked awful. They told my to come back in and they can check them out. I walked in and the lady told my to go back o work with Pham so I did. He tried to tell me my nails looks good I explained I was getting them done for an event and paying $70 after tip for how buttered they look I didn't feel satisfied. He explained he could do gel like i I initially wanted. I felt uncomfortable working with him so I asked if we can do a removal and refund. He did say yes and said it twice that I could have the nails removed and get a full refund since I did not like the nails. During the removal process Pham soaked me nails which led to them burning a lot. After the first soak I did let him know I could not do another round of soaking due to it burning my fingernails badly from the cuts I had Initially for from his drill. He seemed annoyed to have to try and drill the rest of the acrylic off. He did so anyhow and kept the drill on a high setting and it burned my nail beds to where I had to pull my hand away. I did tell him it was burned but he continue to be aggressive while removing my nails. He did cut me a few more times as well during the removal process. Once I was done he told me I'm done and I could go. So I walked to the register to get my refund and I waited a good five minutes before Pham came up and asked me what I needed. I asked for my refund he said " you don't get a refund I told you I remove and you don't get refund" I told him I understand his words were I'm sorry I'll removed and give you a refund, he said "no it's not from me but no refund" I asked to speak to the women that was back and forth in front. She came to talk to me and got extremely upset at me because I asked for the refund she told me no because I did not like the nails I told her that I was understanding if I removed them I'd get the refund like my nail tech had told me she yelled at me and said no because it would have to be from the owner and that they couldn't do that because I wasted their time and supplies, I asked if I wasn't satisfied why was I told I'd get a refund she began yelling at me and told me I'd only get half of the refund pulled cash from her purse and told me to leave. My nail beds had been in pain and throbbing for a few days after. Do not trust this place. They try to push you to get pricey things and when you don't like them they kick you out. read more
