Ken was great! I got a full acrylic set and they turned out perfect. He explained the difference between each available set and helped me figure out which one was best for me. I also got a lavender, gel pedicure - it was great. The salon itself is very spacious and clean. It's typically busy but the manager makes sure everything is running smoothly. Soft drinks and mimosas are available for you while you receive your services. I will be back for future appointments.

Before we even got started I had showed my inspo pic. I paid close to $200 for nails i didn't want. I only came here because a friend recommend. Im sorry but never again!!!

I was also able to get in an eyebrow wax with V, she was so gentle & I loved how my brows came out. I then got in quickly for a last minute pedi. I got the lavender with paraffin wax. I believe with Beth but she told me her name was Nancy Pelosi lol She also refilled my drink. She was very gentle as well. I didn't get a pic but I was pleased with the customer service & work everyone did to make sure I could get to this wedding looking my best! This was my first time & I loved the atmosphere & space they have to get people in quickly! Thanks Quarry Nails for the excellent service!!

I selected a color/ polish and went to check in. They helped me almost right away and got me seated. I grabbed a beverage and sat down. I did feel like they rushed the entire process and were annoyed when I wanted to grab a drink before starting. I loved the variety of beverages that they offer (from sparkling water to the full bar) though! The pedicure turned out nicely except for the fact that I had quite a bit of polish on my toes (not the nail) that I had to get off afterwards. I would definitely come back.

First of all Regan is AMAZING! She did a cat eye look on my nails that turned out just perfect! The length and shape is exactly what I wanted! I also did a honey and Milk pedi which blew my mind!! I got the fancy polish, so it was a bit more expensive but so worth it! The massage and smell of the pedi was the best part!! I did my eyebrows and I'll tell you they are spot on!all this done by Regan so once again ASK FOR HER!! This place has a really fancy vibe, with staff that makes you feel so welcomed! I will be coming back!

I went to Quarry Nails yesterday and had an amazing experience! I believe the woman who took care of me was named Tracy. She was so sweet, very attentive, and did so great on my French tip gel manicure. She had very great attention to detail when it came to my cuticles, and rather than rush to get my nails done and get me out quicker, she took her time with each nail and showed me how each one looked after applying the French tip to ensure that I liked it. I love my nails and loved my experience and I will be back! Thank you Tracy!! read more

I went to get gel x and a pedicure this weekend. My nail tech for my nails did not put good effort into my nails and didn't care about her mistakes and was very messy. Made a mistake on my nails and told me she would fix it- then proceeded to put the top coat on. I asked if she was going to fix it and she said it's just glitter and you can barely see it. I paid $105 for this and it wasn't even worth it at all. She should have at least took off some off the price if she was going to make a mistake and not fix it. I also asked for a nude base on my nails to make my nail palette and she put a pink base. I really don't like my nails and so sad with the outcome. I even spoke up for my self and she wouldn't get a nude color - just told me this is the right color for a French top. Don't come here- place is also not very clean. read more

I love my nail tech's. Nikki and Ivan are great. The manager, Bob is not very friendly and I've now had a 2nd run in with him. He's literally the only negative. Always in a foul mood. There is no organization to this place. These poor people that work there. Bob should not be in customer service anywhere for any reason. But Nikki and Ivan are both great! I highly recommend them. I give Bob a zero for customer service but Ivan and Nikki are worth the old grinch! read more

This is a solid nail salon in San Antonio! They have tons of space and tons of workers so they're normally able to fit you in. It's also an ideal place if you're going with a couple friends. Sometimes you have to wait, but probably not too long. If you're going at a busy time, I recommend making an appointment. They give you a complimentary drink (including adult beverages) which is a nice plus! I've been happy with my nails the few times I've gone. I like the atmosphere of this nail salon and would recommend to others! read more

The staff is extreamly rude and they dont realize some customers speak Vietnamese. Some of the things they say about their customers is DISGUSTING. The owner is constantly telling his employees to have their customers provide 5 star reviews. Theres only 1 tech I would see here, otherwise, I would never come back. read more

Lack of quality service. I was rushed to choose a color. I was not welcomed. Some people were offered drinks, I was not asked at all during my visit. One hand has a shine overlay, while the other hand does not have an overlay on it at all. I am very disappointed with the quality of service. It is not acceptable or appealing at all. Established in 2013.

The business was start 15 yrs ago. We had 6 technicians and very small salon at the Quarry Market. We just construct the new facility four years ago. Now we have 25 contract technicians on staff and striking to be number one in customer services.

Meet the Manager: Ben L.

The owner is Linh. She is an excellent manicurist. Took the opportunity to became her own boss. Ben is a surgical nurse with 10 yrs experience. We just recently celebrate our twin daughters just turn 7 months. We want to create a save, clean, friendly and number one in customer services.

I showed her my one broken nail that I told I kept trying to grow out but kept breaking and showed her my thin, scraggly nails. I told her I was trying to grow them out for months after I stopped using Dip Powders. She hooked me up and made them look pretty even if the nails weren't long. Kudos to her and thank you for not letting me feel embarrassed about the state of my toes and nails, LOL!! She'd just say "It's okay! I'll take care of you!" :-)

The service I received was an absolute nightmare . My nail tech originally was awesome . I have sensitive nail beds and during shaping I expressed pain and pulled away ... she never acknowledged. I wasn't going to let that ruin my experience . At the end of my tip/ colored powered dip she instructed me to go wash my hands . I did and on return I noticed the powder looked faded in uneven Places on my nails . Some areas were bright pink others were faded and pale . I told her I was unsatisfied with the product . NEVER did I raise my voice or use disrespectful language. shape work was wonderful but perhaps the powder was bad or the bulbs in the machine were bad . She proceeded to become Irate . She yelled at me "you said color was ok, you pick this color." Which I had .. but I said yes the color was perfect when it was just dipped and had not been processed. She then began to talk about me in a different language , I asked her to please speak English because It was rude to speak about me in another language . After MUCH of her raising her voice she YELLED at me "you no pay for service , I'll RIP off your nails ... I NEVER insinuated I wasn't paying . This was all in front of other customers . Absolutely mortifying . The clerk then proceeded to tell me that the manager wasn't there and what is it that I wanted . He didn't care to satisfy me as a customer or see where the technician was wrong ... he offered ten whole dollars off .. it was NOT about the money . I paid $40 and every penny was overpaid . I have never felt so attacked over a "relaxing" service I was going to pay for ! If this is the representation you want for your business this is a poor one . I too am in customer service . Oh and by the way I have read the other reviews and the man who was a "trauma RN" think twice before you respond poorly to this post and you down talk someone in your own profession. I was attacked and threatened. Had I not been to mortified I would of gotten the name of that technician she was HORRIBLE in her service , and that's a shame because I thought she was extremely pleasant with good technique until she was corrected . Not to mention an LOL another technician saw my nails outside , grabbed my hand and said .. you paid for this with a shocked face The one star is FAR too many read more

Worst Nail Salon in San Antonio!!! Beware!! My husband and I went to this place for pedicures on a Saturday. It wasn't packed but yet the two people attending us were rushing us and kept trying to upgrade us. How Annoying!! Ugh!! It gets worse, the lady working on my husband started to laugh at him and talk about something on his foot to the guy working on my feet in their language. So Rude!! So my hubby point blank asked her are you both talking about me?! She got red in her face and said no. Lie!!! The lady next to me said they always do that. No respect, whatsoever. Anyway the guy doing my pedicure cut too low on one of my toe nails and I started to bleed. I was pissed off!! Never again!! We will never go back! I almost feel like calling the state board on them and have them shut down or cited. Just take my advice and don't go there. Overpriced & Underwhelmed! The owner/manager guy at this place is such a dick!! It's almost comical how rude he is to people when they walk in for an appointment. Like why?If you don't like dealing with the public, don't manage a shop that deals with the public!! His brash, rash, dismissive, and completely crap attitude lend a sense of anxiety and utter awfulness to the entire shop. It's like you can't get away from it and relax. The opposite of the setting one wants for this type of service. Getting nails done should be a fun and happy experience and instead he makes it so necessarily unpleasant. PSA: I'd bypass Quarry Nails and the angry insecure little manager/owner dude and go somewhere else. xo read more

This place is amazing. I came here once many moons ago and I'm still coming faithfully every two weeks. The owner is there every time I come and greats everyone make sure everyone is having an enjoyable time. My technician Emily has patience and is accurate every time I come. I request her always. They have two others that I had great experiences with but I'll have Emily 24/7 even if I have to wait. I brought my mom, and cousins and they live it too. The Quarry Nail Salon was absolutely wonderful! I treated my daughter to Mani & Pedi after her Military Graduation from Fort Sam as 68W Combat Medic! She got a natural mani because as a soldier she cannot have colored nails and they looked really good! We both had a massage pedicure and it was very relaxing! I arrived early & Older lady started my pedicure & immediately quoted me $10 higher than website. Bad vibe !! So I declined the new set of nails. I have been a regular here for close to 3 years now and love it! They give complimentary drinks (even alcoholic) with your service and offer a comfortable atmosphere. My favorite manicurist is Ann because she does an excellent Dip Manicure. However, most staff is trained to do a variety of different pedi/mani's that it almost doesn't matter who you go in and see. read more

The prices are very reasonable considering to extreme attention to detail that Mindy gives at each visit.
